Has she shown a photo of Bonnie in the dress? Could be that Bonnie wore a shall or something and then Ellie didn't want to so the sleeves were added.
Being smaller chested is unrelated to the sleeves, but Ellie obviously doesn't know how to express herself.

I hate how she talks about Bonnie’s body type and over exaggerates now large and different her body type is. Bonnie looks like she has the perfect Victoria secret model body in high school, not chubby or big AT ALL, thin and toned.GetYouTubesTied wrote:What's funny is that Bonnie isn't even large-chested relative to her overall sizeboredmamaneedsdrama wrote:Bonnie wore with sleeves too. I kind of understand holding onto the ones that they actually made. It seems like a lot of them were hand made and passed down to each sister, which I understand could hold some sentimental value. (I agree though, it's weird to hold onto so many of them.)lmmomSD wrote:I ended up donating mine. I honestly wish I had sold it when it was still in style. Renting isn't really a thing here or I probably would have done that.
But I just don't understand renting a wedding dress while saving prom dresses for years. A wedding is a much bigger day than prom. I do get renting the dress, just because they can be crazy expensive, especially if they're made from nice material like silk. But the combination of renting a wedding gown _and_ hoarding prom dresses. That's odd.

I can't quite put my finger on why, but this whole "Jennifer keeps all the girls' old prom dresses in a closet at her house" thing is giving me such Carrie-esque vibes for some reason.... LOL. Like, I could just imagine Jennifer forcing the girls to add sleeves or a shawl to their dresses to hide their "dirty pillows."

Re: E+J:
I didn't think about a shall for Bonnie, there was no picture and Ellie didn't go into detail. Just said Bonnie wore it like this *motions that the dress was strapless* but mom added these little sleeves so it would be more modest when i wore it (not her actual words, im paraphrasing...) so it could very well be that she had a shall or bolero to wear over it.FakingIt_MakingIt wrote:Playsinrain wrote:So wait.. Re: E+J:
Ellie is so weird!!! Either she has the memory of a fruit fly or she just likes to lie to make herself feel special. She totally said they added the sleeves for her AFTER Bonnie wore it. when clearly that wasn't the case. I honestly feel like she added all that in just so she could talk about how much smaller she was than Bonnie. God i would tell her where to stick her boney ass opinions if she were my sister!!boredmamaneedsdrama wrote:Bonnie wore with sleeves too. Jared didn't even UNDERSTAND how the marshmallow test works! Isn't the point to be very specific with the kid about what they will get and how long they have to wait? God they irritate me.

I know! In the picture, Bonnie absolutely has little cap sleeves. Ellie can't even say "strapless", can she? Her vocabulary is that limited.Playsinrain wrote:Ellie is so weird!!! But it's really ridiculous to pull a memory of your mom adding sleeves to a dress out of thin air like that. Ellie really does live in her own little world, doesn't she?

Re: E+J:
I have always caught the snide remarks Ellie makes of Bonnie but it is obviously jealousy. I think me, you and everyone else can see Bonnie is the most attractive but also has the better personality of all of the Griffith sisters.
If anyone ever doubted Ellie's spoiled, narcissistic behavior, then the Prom dress video clearly shows it.

Is Ellie really travelling in pajamas?
Gotta get attention no matter what!

Re: E+J:
Spot on. Ellie always comments on Bonnie's size - and I don't even think Bonnie is "big". She's a beautiful woman who has had 4 children. She is definitely the most attractive of the girls, you're right. At least Bonnie doesn't look like nasty, sickly Ellie.KaterTot wrote:I have always caught the snide remarks Ellie makes of Bonnie but it is obviously jealousy. When I was growing up, people dressed up to fly. I get that times have changed, it's a long flight, and they want to be comfortable, but jeez. Pajamas?Mk1 wrote:Yep - so trashy. I bet the other people were like "WTH?"HelloSweetie wrote:Is Ellie really travelling in pajamas?

Comfortable clothes make sense, but pajamas? Bonnie has an IG story of them all eating in a restaurant and Ellie is in pjs. Just not classy when you're on a "business trip."
Re: E+J: "I can't believe it's not Tender!" Part #33
I don’t think twice when I see people travelling with a pair of normal pj bottoms but a ONSIE with donuts on it? Lmao

I have done many long flights and always wear something comfortable. Flights intended for sleep should be cut slack, nothing wrong with wearing pajamas on long flights.charmed596 wrote:Ive flown cross country twice (7planes total) and both trips wore pjs…had no idea it was uncommon to not! Wearing an adult onesie covered in donuts? That's beyond wearing pajamas. That's just a cry for attention. Re: E+J: "I can't believe it's not Tender!" Part #33
Like I said, I know times have changed, and people don't dress up for flights anymore. And it's a long flight, so being comfortable would be key. But a onesie? Can you imagine trying to get it off to go to the bathroom in those tiny little airplane bathrooms? And the floor is filthy, so you would be putting a dirty onesie back on. Although I suppose it had a flap...FakingIt_MakingIt wrote:Wearing an adult onesie covered in donuts? That's beyond wearing pajamas. That's just a cry for attention.
