And did she blow her nose into one of her children's clean underwear in that long montage of her folding laundry and laying down in between? Did she put them back in the clean pile? One wonders.

Infrequent poster here but have to join in the conversation owing to the demonetization drama... As of this morning something even wonkier seems to have happened to Ruby's channel. At present socialblade has them netting $0 in both monthly and yearly earnings. Was her entire channel demonetized too??? At least Kevin has a tenured/almost tenured position at BYU so they have a guaranteed income to support their family... this demonetization is going to hit hard for other families who have ZERO back up plan-- look at April and Davey whose "kids try" channel was removed... they still have their blog channel but it has only 200K subs and very few daily views compared to what the other channel used to get....

Wait... Abby gets up and goes to harp lessons without brushing her teeth?? How hard is it to get up two minutes earlier to brush your teeth before leaving the house. Here’s a though. If your child is too tired/doesn’t have time to brush their teeth prior to harp lessons.. ever think you’re scheduling them too early?

Maybe that's the only time the teacher could work with her favorite child Abby. But to be so unhygienic that she isn't teaching her child to wash her face and brush her teeth quickly before lessons is ridiculous.

In fact does anyone else feel sick to their stomach when they see Ruby and Kevin kiss, especially in the morning? It always seems like she has bad breathe and a filthy face. Kevin is usually dressed and ready for work so we know he's clean, but Ruby has such poor hygiene. She always admits to having stinky breath, greasy hair, smelly armpits, and probably dirty undies since she rarely showers. Sick!

Thrilled isn't the right word for me. Definitely have some schadenfreude, because most of these people were aware of the dangers, and of how they were exposing their children, and as long as the AdSense checks kept coming in, they were perfectly fine with it. They filmed their children in the tub, on the toilet, and in their underwear, and insisted they were doing nothing wrong. The only way they are going to change is if the monetary incentive is taken away. So, yeah-- I getting a little bit of pleasure out of their discomfort. Especially people who have been making a LOT of money exploiting their children, and enjoying the lifestyle that their kids are providing without any apparent thought for the future.

You can show lovely vlogs that don’t show children half undressed, in the bath or on the loo.

I don't think they lost any money today, just got videos taken down that didn't let them earn, it's not like YouTube can retroactively seize assets from them, or at least that's my understanding.

Yeah I think that’s what it means, it’s more as if they received a demotion from their boss lol. Decrease in their pay.

I think you're right. She won't actually lose money, except that if people go back and watch the old vlogs that are demonetized, she won't make _more_ off them. They won't take money back from Ruby. Vloggers do make money off of people watching older vlogs, so it still stings. Even Shay is still making money off of old vlogs. And if future vlogs are demonetized, it will definitely hurt.

One way to tell is if there's no ads. But I think the only ones who know for sure are YouTube and the vlogger.

Back when Ruby showed her kids in a better light people criticized that too. They called her a Stepford wife with perfect little mormon angels.

If she changes now, the vlogs might become too boring. She's already built her audience on what she shows now.

I have no words, I literally don’t know how to take that one. Any thoughts? What’s the deeper meaning? I think of artwork as something pretty that sits on a wall. How does this relate to children? Genuinely confused here???
