Ok-- she goes on and on about how she wants to be "sweet and tender" and when Russell is coughing says "Stop it!"

"I want my kids to have memories of fighting with their siblings on road trips." But this is their FIRST road trip as a family. That makes a whole lot of sense.

And yes, I roll my eyes _constantly_. I can't watch them. My daughter watched today while I was in the room. I don't get why she and Bonnie have gotten SO scripted. Bonnie is even open about it. She posts those "bloopers" vlogs where she shows herself bribing the kids to say what she wants them to say.

Just watched Ruby on her insta stories of them on spring break and some of the kids (and some guy named Star I've never seen before?) playing board games and Sheri was yelling about winning the game to her wanna be boyfriend (brother Chad) and the guy who lost was "upset" and Ruby say's "Is he being a SOUR loser?" instead of being a "SORE loser". Is that normal? I've never once in my entire life heard anyone call it a "SOUR loser"? Is that really a thing or is Ruby just showing off how stupid she is as usual?

No, it is only said in Ruby’s world. She is so stupid.

"Run for student body"? He's already part of the student body. If he is running for a student body _office_, then she needs to say that. I know I am totally nitpicking, but the Griffiths command of the English language is so poor, and so many kids (apparently) look up to Ruby.

Oh lord, just watched the video with Abby’s horrendous spelling. That was cringey to watch. I really wonder if she is going to get into the private school. I think we’re going to see a video in a few months saying Julie got in but she decided Russel and Abby would do best based on their personalities staying in public school so that’s where they’ll be.

Is this a Mormon school? I went to a private Christian school. They didn't have an acceptance process. If you had the money, you got in, whether you were smart or not.

Watching Ruby's instagram stories.........and Yes, I can say I have never "dropped the ball" and forgotten a child. It's a common occurance for Ruby though, isn't the first and wont be the last. And if I hear her say how she "NEVER" finds herself being alone or having alone time, I might scream. How can she say that with a straight face? She is constantly by herself taking naps, ignoring her children, running out to the grocery store, taking baths, and dreaming up new "content" for her scripted vlogs. I really can not stand this woman.

It's not a Mormon school like Catholic schools are Catholic (as in with a central governing body at the Vatican), but it does have Mormon values, and books and I'm sure they have Seminary classes, the LDS church only has the universities and a school in Mexico that they officially run, hope this made sense.

Probably embarrassing for Russell and ethically questionably in terms of putting it on the vlog, but I have to say Ruby's whole "you can choose one thing to whine about" was quite funny and totally something I could see myself doing.

Her instagram stories are so annoying. She talks about cleaning the house without any pants on. Then "loves" on Eve which comes across as so fake to me. She only does things for the camera to make herself come across as a loving mother when in reality she is detached and is more of a director than a Mom.

God. Imagine any time you're trying to go anywhere your mom has to stand outside the car and film as if you're leaving and then you have to go pick her up again so you can actually leave. JUST LEAVE. Video of the car leaving the driveway isn't that important. No wonder the kids hate being on camera the majority of the time, they know it's gonna take 20 shots to get it just how Ruby wants.

It's because she is not just filming their daily live anymore. It's all practiced, thought out "scenes" of their live. I think she get's out her planning book, looks at what is on their schedule and fills in the gaps with filler scene's. Nothing is just filmed "on the fly" it's just all fake made up scripted vlogs. The kids never had a problem being on camera in the early days, it's just now they seem to be annoyed because it's not real anymore. It's their Director Mom telling them what they are going to film and telling them what to say and making them do it over and over again until she get's the scene just right.. The only reason Eve and Russell seem to enjoy being on camera is because it's the only time their "MOM" actually gives them attention and loves on them (for attention to seem like a good Mom) I bet money as soon as the camera isn't rolling, she is back to ignorning those kids and paying them no attention. they probably get in her face trying to show her things and asking to play and she tells them "later" she is too busy either napping, laying around or planning the next "scene" for the vlog. I feel really bad for her kids. They are going to grow up have a lot of resentment towards their Mom for showcasing them youtube for the world to watch as if they are zoo animals on display.

That's nuts. Then on the other end of the "nuts" spectrum, we have the mom on Bratayley, who packs for her 13 1/2 year old, ties her shoes when she's too tired, has never left her at home alone, and never has her use an alarm to get out of bed.
Bottom line, vloggers are nuts.

It does appear that way. I'm trying to convince myself that maybe they're all just doing these crazy things for views? Like, maybe Ruby had a secret bag of sensible stuff for Eve hidden somewhere. Although, come to think of it, that's not really any less bizarre...
