They are listed under the Founder Sponsors on their school's Gala for 2018. On the brochure, it shows that the Founder Package is for anyone who donated over $10,000 to the gala

They also had their logo prominently placed under the 2017 sponsors, so I'm guessing that they donated that much in 2017 as well.

I mean really, you're asked to say one nice thing about your little sister on her birthday and what comes to mind first is that she's willing to be your personal slave. She didn't even play it off as a joke, like "But no seriously, I like that she is blah blah". And yes, good on Kevin for correcting Shari about giving Julie an attitude. And I couldn't really hear what Chad said over one of the little kids yelling in the background, but did he basically say the same thing about Abby as Shari did?

I also agree that she likely has a good amount of underlying resentment towards her younger siblings for having to play the second mom to them when she was younger herself. She also likely recognized a long time ago that she is much smarter than her mom (at least general intelligence wise) and probably feels like she's on more of an equal footing with Ruby in the family "hierarchy" than she really is. I imagine she has a bit of an unconscious inferiority complex due to her size, but she knows she can't get away with treating her peers at school the way she does her siblings, which leads her to be all the more bossy and know-it-all with them.
Chad said something like "If I am downstairs and ask her for a granola bar or something, she always gets it. I don't know if she's scared I am going to hurt her or something..." and I don't remember the rest.
He said exactly that but Ruby jumped in to minimize his words by saying Chad you are a wonderful and caring big brother. Ruby has been promoting Chad as the loving big brother for a while now. I wonder if she's doing it because he is the opposite and she's kissing up to him so he doesn't give her a hard time.
Wasn't there a vlog where Kevin and Ruby had to put their foot down about Chad holding the family as hostage by manipulating them to get what he wants so I think that she tip toes around him because she gets the worse from him while Kevin gets Chad respect.

Yup! And he wasn’t allowed to demand Ruby taking him to McDonald’s anymore. That was the same vlog Ruby talked about the kids needing to wake up on time- especially Eve but nothing has changed.

Completely agree with the Chad situation. Wrong way to go about getting a child to behave, but... this is Ruby we're talking about lol

Also, I am just throwing this out there... I know Eve is a bratty child (you learn your ways from your parents/siblings and the discipline or lack there of) but, I just NEVER understood the way Ruby expects a child of Eve's age or Russell's... or even Julie when she was younger, to wake up on time. I would never expect that of a child... I would expect that I would have to go in and probably have to dress them while they were half asleep... and then drag them into the bathroom and brush their teeth... and then they would be awake enough to eat. *shrugs* maybe I come from a different mindset? Idunno!

I want to say it was about a year a half- two years ago. I’m not sure Eve was even in school yet. Also, if I remember correctly Julie wanted everyone to wake up by 6am and Shari got mad. I remember when they all had to wake up really early and practice their instruments.

Anyone see Shari's new after-school routine?

* She says she is doing another one, because the last one wasn't accurate. I quickly watched the old one and noticed that the family still had no routine (Ruby failed to feed Eve dinner until an hour after her bedtime, but at least she was home) and Shari still had no homework. The evening prayers and reading of the past, were curiously replaced with Netflix in the updated, "accurate" routine though.

* We quickly see that she is driving her and Chad home from school. Did they give Shari the sedan?

* She has track from 3:30-5:30 every day, followed by weight lifting and/or physical therapy. She went to PT. Shari mentions again that she "disagrees" with her podiatrist, despite the fact that he sent her to the PT to follow through on treatments he suggested. Which are working. The PT also confirmed the doctor's assessment, indicating the pain was inherent to "her anatomy" and not an injury or defect. I assume that means her legs feel additional stress similar to people with mild dwarfism, as she shares the anatomical proportions. If I were that doctor, I would be calling Shari to educate her and/or ask her to stop dragging my name through the mud.

* So 5:30 + 1 hr for PT + 30 min drive home + 30 min for "sandwich feelings" = 7:30ish arrival home. She proceeds to spend less than 10 minutes on homework, YT editing and organizing her closet and laundry...combined. She claims this is normal, although it can take up to "1-2 hours". She tried really hard to find homework too, but all she has on her plate is an AP Euro test coming in 3 weeks that she has to prepare for. Unfortunately it appears she did the work at school and just emails it to the teacher.

* Does she not want to admit that she only has one advanced class, or do her classes really require no effort outside the classroom at all? She was really trying hard to produce homework for us and couldn't. I can count on one hand the number of homework free nights I had in HS, and even then, there was a constant stream of tests, reading and term projects on my plate at all times. If she never spends more than an hour on homework, I fear for the education system in Utah. This school is supposed to be 10x harder than their public school. She will never survive a decent college.

* She scolds Chad for drinking lemonade the day before a track meet. Is that a thing? I hope Dr. Coach sends her to a real nutritionist too. Also, someone left a comment on her video that claimed 3 people were on the track team and they rotate the "Captain" position each meet. Sounds about right.

* The fact that the kids usually buy their own dinner on their way home is sad, yet not surprising at the same time. Ruby and Kevin are out on a date (not surprised), but Shari is surprised dinner was left for them. She ate her "sandwich feelings" instead, ironically, alone in a house full of siblings. No carbs for this runner before a meet! I had a friend who ran marathons and he would eat plates of plain pasta before the race.....she is either just trying to lose weight (and the race) or she doesn't understand basic nutrition and biology.

* Shari recently started doing her own laundry, but decides she doesn't have enough clothes to run it (she'd rather have dirty clothes than have to wash her sister's shirts to make a full load). So what chores was Ruby making these kids do at 6 am every day? Just the gross ones she didn't want to do like scrubbing toilets with your face cloth?

* By 8:20 Shari feeds "the demon pet" (her words not mine) a scoop of food, before hopping in the bath/shower to get ready for bed. She makes a production of all the compression socks, bandages and ice packs she needs to be an athlete, despite not being to able to find the ice packs and not caring. She proceeds to watch "like 7 episodes" of The Office like she does "every night" with Chad. Where are all the other children? Does Shari lock everyone but Chad into a closet when the parents are out on date night? We didn't even see Abby and they share a room.

For being a "super busy student-athlete with no time to read", her evening looked quite relaxed and leisurely. I assume she pretends to be in her room studying/"editing" to avoid taking care of her siblings and/or being cast in a family vlog. Then once the kids are in bed, she can veg out in front of the TV.

I’m sure I’m the only one that feels this way, but the excessive hate and criticism directed toward a 16 year old girl just doesn’t feel right.

Did anyone else find Ruby’s ig story of Eve giving a speech at church whilst Kevin whispered the ‘script’ in her ear a bit creepy? It just instantly reminded me of childhood indoctrination - I highly doubt she thought of that speech herself.

I am actually kinda with you on that. I am glad that my teen years were before social media.
That being said, I blame Ruby, not Shari for any attitude she gives off. She had to be surrogate mom to her siblings while Ruby was popping out more kids than she could handle and having miscarriages in between, her mom laughs and proudly films her arguing with a TSA agent, and the whole family acts above the rules. She is rewarded for acting like a know it all.

The criticism of Ruby I totally get. That to me is different.

And Ruby did mention she went through a dark period and was on anti depressants are something like that. It may of been hard on the older kids.

I totally thought the same thing. I didn’t think that was cute at all. That wasn’t the first time we’ve seen Eve repeat a testimony that was whispered in her ear while a church that she couldn’t possibly comprehend the actual meaning of.

Am I the only one surprised that little Mormon kids are allowed to watch the office? Especially Shari, who felt that the new jumanji was inappropriate. I mean I love the office, but I don’t feel it’s very “Mormon” friendly?

I don't think anyone should hate her, or be too critical... but, she's 16 and she should know right from wrong by now... kids should know this way before 16. And yet, she thinks she's always right, no matter what the situation... I think that's what most people are frustrated with. I don't agree with people calling her ugly, or making fun of her for her shape/height/size... or her skin. If I have ever said anything it would be that I think she needed to find some skin care that works... and honestly, I think she's finally found something that's working for her. But, to leave a car running, in a garage at that! And then be like "I KNOW!" when your mother starts to tell you how dangerous... uhm, do you really know? And I know it's that teenage know-it-all attitude, that a lot of girls and boys have... but, omg it's annoying. So, I can get it.. but, I do agree it should be toned down some.

What would be the best would be for her mom to stop exploiting her attitude. I would be mortified if my mom had filmed my teen drama and eye rolls and put them on the internet for public consumption. For money.
I agree, she gets on my nerves. And she definitely needs to dial back her "I'm the best at everything" talk, whether it's real or bravado. But her mom needs to stop filming it.

I thought the same thing! I was also surprised that Chad was allowed to watch The Walking Dead. Not only is it quite gory but it’s just a really dark show with some very heavy themes. I love TWD but I was shocked to hear Ruby allowed it considering what other things she disapproves of.

Oh, yeah. Shanna even filmed an "It Wasn't Meant to Be" vlog with her looking all maternal and supportive of Kesley in the car (as usual) in the thumbnail.

Any woman on this website who says they weren't an obnoxious know-it-all at 16 is a liar. I really do think people need to back off of Shari because a lot of you are just straight up bullying a teenage girl. It's honestly a bit sickening.
