Off-Topic Banter Part 5
Re: Off-Topic Banter Part 5
Lol sure. The moon affects all life, it sybolises, strength, feminine power, light, mystery, influence, energy, dreams, a lot of those symbols represent myself. I have influenced some people, been strong for some people, been a light for some people and I am big on dreams. Orions belt was the first story I have ever heard about stars/constellations. There are different variations but the first one I heard was how he was a giant born in Greece. He was an outcast, yet protected the people from wild and ferocious beasts. He was betrothed to the Goddess Artemis ( who is one of the virgin Goddesses ) and her twin brother Apollo was against the marriage. Apollo sent a scorpion to kill Orion, which it did. Orion fell onto the scorpion, also killing it. Artemis asked Zeus to place Orion into the heavens as a memorial to his death which Zeus agreed and he also placed the scorpion in the heavens on the other side, which we know as the constellation Scorpio today. I feel like Orion is a good representation of me as well. I'm tiny, not a giant but I was an outcast. Despite being an outcast I still helped and protect a lot of people.
I really love it. I love stars and the moon. I've always been a big mythology lover as well.

It's a new trend apparently..I just watched a couple of videos of AshandJ and she has that damn pattern all over the place. It hurts to even look at it..MakeupGirly wrote:Why are so many of the YouTube Mom's obsessed with chevron print? Like where did this come from? I don't know why but it really annoys me.

Eh, I don't understand the obsession, its coloured zig zags to me.
Day four of tattoo. Its healing, no longer needs to be covered, itchy as fuck. Waiting for the dead skin to peel off now.

So. I tried quitting my job on Saturday.
I was begged to stay, and then told they wouldn't allow me to quit until I spoke with my general manager.
I did tonight and unfortunately.........
I'm still employed.

Why did you want to quit?
I chose to stay. At least for now.
I was so frustrated. There are so many problems where I work.
I felt very targeted by one of our junior managers. (Right now we have a general manager, three senior managers, and two junior managers, making a grand total of 6 altogether.)
So I ended up being so ridiculously angry, which isn't normally how I am in real life.
Very calm, and easygoing, at least at work.
I blew up. Exploded. I lost my cool.
So, I'm either moving areas or they're firing people.
Which, they already removed two of the biggest troublemakers within the last week.
Absolutely horrible people.
I've applied for about 6 jobs since Saturday. Fingers crossed on getting a call or 2.

I've been at my current job for a year now. Yesterday was my "anniversary".
Still serving, sigh. I really hate it.
We used to have a Latino dishwasher who was the exact same way.
Asking every female server, "are you married? "
We all said yes, just so he'd leave us alone.

I worked about 3.5 hours tonight and made 21$.
I don't make shit, all we serve is elderly people an they go to bed at like, 5pm.

My new hair is kind of..
Well. I woke up and it's kind of doing it's own stubborn mohawk. Everything's sticking upwards. Water combing didn't help and I'm too scared to blowdry with round brush because of my scalp.

Re: Off-Topic Banter Part 5
I think 9% but not entirely sure.
Definitely learned my lesson though, never again anything but stripes if I need to go lighter. That way nothing touches my scalp and it's the scalp that got the worst of it. STILL mostly numb

Those dragging and beating those boys along are Putin's supporters and those getting beaten are euro supporting Ukranians. Right now the situation is explosive to say the least. Russian troops have fired warning shots this morning.hjl226 wrote:Wtf omg why are they doing thatplacebo wrote:

Just google Russia Ukraine crisis.
To answer your question shortly and simply: They are doing it because they have different views. I would think fear plays a role too.

Lots of history comes from one concept (right or wrong, that is): I want that.

Re: Off-Topic Banter Part 5
I've been at my current job for 4 months now. It's great.
I need advice though. When I worked at the deli I loved the food and such. I've only spoken to 3 co-workers since I left, two were fired after me and one's still there. I sort of want to go back and shop. But I know it'll be awkward. It all ended fine, I left on my own and respectfully. I just haven't been there since I walked out that day. Am I silly for even worrying about this? I feel like enough time has past but a former co-worker says going back there would just cause drama, even though I intend to cause none. I'm conflicted. Some people there I never want to see again. At the same time...their Mac and cheese was to kill for and I want it lol

Re: Off-Topic Banter Part 5
I hope so. I think they fired a lot of people, so that could help. I know I've avoided going for so long b/c even though I left on my own, I was bitter with how certain things ended, but could care less now.
