Samika? Part 1

I just started watching them this past week. I end up FF a lot, which I never do when I watch Ellie and Jared.

They seem sort of immature. I can't believe he's the same age as Jared. Their house seems like a bachelor pad with all the guys playing video games. I don't mean to say I don't like them, I do. Just not as much as E+J.

I also think Sam is very cute, but he doesn't seem very affectionate with Jennika. Anybody else feel that way?

Funny because today he was saying he has a great wife because she lets him be a kid.

Well she's better than me, because I would probably complain if my husband was obsessed with tennis shoes and I never went shopping, lol.

Totally agree with you. I don't think they are the worst, but sometimes they- especially Sam- come off as teenagers. I'm always surprised he's so much older than me. I never thought about the affection thing, but it's true! I never see them even hold hands. Or even Sam call Jennika sweet names but I am shy in public as well.

And yes they are the more boring ones out of all the family vloggers I watch, but they are sweet and Noah is so darn cute so I check in every once in a while.

I watched the vlog when E&J dropped Jackson off, I had never watched before. I don't like Jen's voice. Idk, something about the way she talks bugs me

Gah, why are people so rude? I can't believe people are asking Jenika if she is pregnant. She is gorgeous and nothing about her body looks out of shape. I felt so bad that she was basically apologizing for not going to the gym. That really bugs me.

She had a baby just under a year ago too! She looks great! They did say the other day they want another child sooner rather than later and were talking about a second? Hopefully it was just wishful thinking on the viewers end.

I felt like I was watching two friends having a baby for most of it :/

In a vlog this week, at one point Jennika reaches to touch his face, and she was saying awwww or something. He jerks away and he's like "stop!". I feel so bad for her!!! I think she is affectionate and he is totally not! I am not insinuating he's gay, but he seems to enjoy being around his guy friends more than his wife. Good thing he's pretty.

Maybe he's just not into pda? But his parents are pretty touchy and lovey :s I don't think the lack of loving gestures is odd but I feel like they just have no spark. The fact that he's older than Austin Null just boggles my mind. Austin is a goofy guy but he actually comes across as a married father in his 20s. Sam just seems like a single 21 year old. Jen also annoys me for some reason. Noah is just the absolute cutest though. Dem cheeks!

I think it's odd because they film everyday and we see NOTHING. You'd think you would see little gestures. Leaning onto her shoulder, holding her waist from behind, even his hand on top of hers. They don't have to hold them!
I was just so shocked to see the birth vlog because I didn't feel the love like I do with other vloggers and that's why I didn't cry over theres like the rest lol

The whole Jennika and Sam not showing PDA isn't a big deal to me. Maybe they show it off camera. Some people are more private. Plus their parents watch their vlogs.

My phone is making replying directly unnecessarily complicated but I agree about the birth vlog. Wasn't as touching as I expected. Obviously they were both excited and emotional but they seemed like two individuals rather than a team if that makes sense?

They may not be physical towards one another but they both compliment each other and throw in appreciative comments here and there so maybe they're just more the "words of affirmation" type.

I used to love watching them but after what they did with the dog and after they moved they've been annoying me a bit. Lately the vlogs only revolve around Trixin, Sam's shoes and Sam watching sports so I fast forward most of them. It's sad because they could do so many things and have much more subscribers.

They're averaging around 30,000-40,000 views a vlog now. Idk what they were getting a year ago or during their peak, but their channel seems to have stopped growing and is no longer popular. Those trixin checks must be enough for them to not care about their channel growth.

I wonder if they gained or lost viewers over the Trixin thing? I for one watched until puppygate, and then I couldn't see Sam the same after that. He was warned it was a bad idea, and still did it. Then he just as impulsively ditched the pup on a friend and decided to move to Utah. Their vlogs weren't fun... they were stressful to my type A personality!

I think they did gain some followers after joining trixin and getting a shout out from Shay, but they just aren't entertaining enough to keep people watching. I stopped watching after the puppy stuff too, but I'm still subscribed. I just got bored and couldn't bring myself to watch anymore. Plus Sam uploads in the middle of the night where I am so I don't even see the vlog in my subscription box unless I go down real far. If you get a boost from Shay and you still only get 30,000 views a vlog then you don't have any business doing YT full time.

I used to watch Samika but they are just too boring now. I watched when they went travelling recently, thinking it might spark my interest again but nope, still boring. Noah is gorgeous though. That's the only thing that made me watch in the first place.

This is me. I totally lost interest after watching for three weeks.

I don't get a happy couple feeling from them. I think they are nice people, but it's just not like watching Ellie and Jared or Bonnie and Joel.

I liked them during the pregnancy and the first few months after because they seemed like a relatable young couple with a kid. Then he quit his job, which was a huge deal when he got it btw, and now there's nothing relatable about them at all in my opinion. It also seems like a waste to let their degrees go to waste so soon after graduating. I don't know it jist seems like it would be smart to get a year or two of experience in the professional world before taking a break.
