Shaytards Part 1

If I had to pick favorites I'm #TeamGavin all the way. He is such a conscientious and helpful young man.

I got turned off of King Shay a long time ago, but lately Colette is really rubbing me the wrong way too. Idk she just seems to have an attitude lately? I especially noticed it in the latest WTKGTS podcast.

Does anyone watch CaseyLavere? I LOVE their family. Way more down to earth than the Shaytards, I don't even know how Casey and Shay are related because they are so incredibly different, but it's refreshing. I also find their kids to be way more mild mannered and well behaved.

I agree, I can't think of one bad thing to say about Kayli, she seems like a lovely person. The CaseyLavere household is just so much more calm than the Shaytards household, which I like a lot. When I watch the Shaytards it seems like the kids are constantly doing outrageous things to try to get their dad's attention. I don't really see that in Casey's kids- but who knows how they are when the camera is off.

I have a question-- why do all of the siblings in shay's family seem to go by different last names? Logan McKay, Casey Lavere, Shay Butler... Are they middle names or something? I think Carly goes by Butler too? I've always wondered why since they have the same parents...

Lavere and McKay are middle names, they all have the last name Butler.

I haven't watched them in a couple months besides a few here and there. I'm watching Emmi's AGD Haul and she has grown so much in the last few months. Even her voice sounds so different and mature

I also noticed how much Emmi has matured! Not gonna lie, I watch maybe 1-2 vlogs per week these days, and usually while I am doing other things so I don't really give my full attention anymore. I just can't with how grating I find King Shay to be lately. But I watched Emmi's haul I was like CRAP how did she grow up so fast?! Daxton also looks HUGE! Definitely starting to see him as a toddler and not a baby.

I just hate how King Shay is ALWAYS obsessing over having a blonde haired blue eyed baby. Why does he have to bring it up in Every. Single. Vlog? We get it. Your Aryan ideals are showing. Can you stfu about it already? (This is coming from a former Mormon convert who left the church in large part due to the pro-white racism intrinsic within Mormon ideology, it's pretty uncomfortable to see that all the time.)

I also really like Casey's family but the one thing I hate is how they (and Shay) treat their animals. They let their dogs run around in the wilderness where there are a lot of dangers. A few weeks ago Casey's dog Bronx got caught in a coyote trap and and it was I think a week before they noticed he was gone. His leg could have been saved, but since he had been in the trap so long the leg had died and he needed an amputation. They have so much money, if they aren't going to build a fence for their dog (which could still give him plenty of space) then there is no excuse for not buying a GPS collar to at least check where he is every night. Imagine being caught in a metal trap while your leg rots on your body, without any food or water for days. They are letting him wander around again and with three legs some wild animal is going to kill him. I really want to like them but there was a vlog from when Casey picked up Bronx from his amputation and he kept saying Bronx is so happy now, he loves having three legs, dogs are so resilient they just don't care! And I'm like wtf yes, your dog just lost his leg, even if his tail is wagging that doesn't mean he isn't in pain and walking and running is going to be easy again for him.

Also, I agree with the whole blue-eyed baby thing— it would be one thing if Daxton was their only, but they have four other children with brown eyes! How does it make them feel when their dad obviously favors their brother's eye color? Speaking of which, does anyone know what color Colette's parents/siblings eyes are? I always assumed she didn't have the blue eyed allele since the first four are brown eyed, but now that Dax has blue I'm curious about her family.

Oh yes, the animal treatment is just sickening. Don't even get me started on Mollie (Carlie's previous dog), the cats, the chickens, now all this livestock? Ugh. The Bronx situation is the one thing I hate about watching the CaseyLavere Butlers- especially because he has gotten lost before, and he even broke his leg a few months ago! Like clearly all pets need supervision. Wouldn't the fact that yours has had incidents before be even more of a wake-up call?! Smdh.

No idea about Colette's family's side other than her sisters Callie and Candice, who I *think* both have dark eyes? Eh, with Colette carrying the recessive allele there was a 25% chance their kids would be light eyed and 20% of her kids are so I guess it makes sense, but I see what you are saying.

I also feel sorry for Tatiana and the way Shay treats her as so different. I don't think he does it intentionally, he's just really, really ignorant about some of the things that come out of his mouth.

I'm not sure how green eyes factor into eye genetics, but assuming Shay has 2 "light" alleles then the baby's eye color would just depend on which gene Colette gives. I'm no expert so correct me if I'm wrong! But if it is 50%, that's why I was surprised that Daxton has light eyes, because the chance of having four brown eyed babies in a row would be ~6%.

I haven't been watching too closely as of recent, who is Tatiana and what happened with Carlie's dog?

Tatiana is Colette's sisters (Candance's) daughter, so is Lexi.
And no, she's not adopted.

Carlie gave Mollie away. This isn't the first time she's given a dog away for no good reason. Here's an excellent post from GG that explains the whole thing and why it was so shitty of her to do: "I thought carlie cared about her....until the videos where she would mention molly going blind and then start laughing hysterically. And I wish the house tour video still existed bc that was solid proof she didnt give a rats ass. do you remember how cold she was talking about not knowing what to do w/molly in that video? her attitude was something along the lines of ughhh, she's gonna tear up the house and plus she's seriously going blind its just annoying I dont know what to do whatever. then steve kind of tried to be sweeter about it and carlie snapped something like idk leave suggestions in the comments below what to do w/her and the house. Her lack of concern was so disgusting to me, and Im not even someone who has dogs bc im allergic. it was obvious carlie got molly to fill this void she was having in her personal life and once steve came around she no longer gave a shit. my blood is boiling now bc I literally remember her rolling her eyes at the fact that molly was going blind, as if it was such an inconvenience. and then the whole chicken fiasco, you could tell she just despised molly completely by that point. She has never even mentioned in a vlog about missing molly or having to give her away, she just went about it in a cold way."

(The chicken fiasco is that Mollie killed a bunch of Trolltard's chickens.)

Seriously their family is so screwed up when it comes to animals. Trolltard made Logan give his dog Jackson away, which really upset him. Then after Mollie killed the chickens Carlie bought her a puppy to make up for it. Trolltard also named the puppy Jackson, probably out of spite because she's a sadistic wench of a woman.

Oh, and Tatiana is biracial, not black

Shay still feels the need to make weird comments about her hair.

I remember seeing some post on GG about how Shay treats Tatiana so differently (not in a bad way). I didn't see this vlog but the poster mentioned how when they all went to see the movie Home, Shay wouldn't shut up about how much the girl in the movie looked so much like Tatiana, he kept saying it over and over and it just made everyone uncomfortable? Once again I didn't see the vlog, but the poster pretty much said that Shay doesn't know how to act around people with different races.

Carlie's engaged! I'm actually really happy for her, hopefully Cooper is too.
It seems odd, as far as we know she hasn't been with him as long as Steve and her and him always talked about marriage.

Good for her. It's obvious that she painfully wants another baby. Hoping the marriage will work out, for Cooper's sake.
