DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30

Deleted link because it doesn't work

She says on Twittter she deleted it because it uploaded wrong (vid was 7 minutes but showed as 17).

She says she will try to do it later (aka later tonight when she gets back to the hotel).

The beginning of the vlog was too over dramatic, so I believe Bryan did it.

They seriously gave Oliver 6 presents! Jeez. Growing up my parents only gave me one "big" gift and I opened that last. Plus they didn't tell Oliver to say "Thank You". So he was just opening gifts and throwing them off to the side.

Funny how there was no talk about making a two year montage for Ollie.
The party was cute, seems like there was more people and children at last years party. I wonder if Bryan and Missy were hoping that all their blogger buddies could of stayed another day for the party.

Everyone remember how Bryan promised a 1 year montage of Ollies life? Then slowly stopped talkng about it, looks like the slime ball couldnt be bothered.

I dont agree with how Missy is lately, she is using this pregnancy for the attention and to whine about EVERYTHING but is everyone forgetting that she basicly raised Ollie by herself for his first year? She was basicly his only care giver and you cant use breastfeeding as an excuse because she pumped so that he could also get used to a bottle. Bryan was just too much of a lazy fart. Also Bryan never seemed to want to be involved with Ollie until he could walk, clearly he was too boring for him until that point.

Yes lately Missy has done nothing but pawn Ollie off to Bryan or Mimi but she IS pregnant and being pregnant isnt easy. Sure she whines about it all the time but it is exhausting. Some people can handle it better than others and Missy has openly said she hates being pregnant this time round.

I think Missy gets a hell of alot more hate than she deserves lately. To me Bryan is the worse part of this couple, i cant stand the sleazy douchebag.

I disagree. Bryan did all the night changes. sure Missy BF, but that's ALL she did. They lived at home with Mimi remember?

Times were so good at Casa Hollister, that Princess nearly fell apart once they moved out. Bryan didn't fall apart because he was probably already stepping up. He is also the major breadwinner remember? Missy has edited 3 or 4 DB vids. She'd rather them be late than do it herself.

We can argue the benefits of BF for days on this board, but it doesn't do shit for your child's emotional development to basically push them aside once you've weaned. Missy was essentially a wet nurse to her own child. Bonded parents aren't as awkward around their children as Missy was at Ollie's party. When forced to care for him she has a trapped and frightened look on her face.

Sorry, I hate. Bryan too, but you'll never convince me that Missy "did it all herself" when she was BF. The BF wasn't about Ollie anyway.... she did it for the attention. When pregnant she uses "pregnant" constantly... when nursing she throws around "BF". Sorry, but that's not normal.

Way to be original Bryan! The beginning of the birthday special was exactly what Jared did for Jacksons first birthday.

I have a feeling Oliver is headed straight to being a spoiled brat (just like his mother). He's 2 years old!!! All the gifts they got him were just excessive, he probably would've been just as happy if they got him a ball for his birthday!

I feel like I always compare to E&J, but if you go back and watch Jacksons first birthday, it was so simple but nice. His big present was that Tee Pee that Ellie made. And then he got a few more small presents.

My point is, they are babies!!!! They don't need much to make them happy...and nobody wants to raise a spoiled brat! Imagine what he's going to demand on his 5th birthday?!

Yep! I agree. That's too much stuff. They probably think it will him more occupied, it could actually do the opposite.

And if they don't care about having to deal with a spoiled brat, they should at least care about the fact that NO ONE will want to watch one. Just try to hide that!

What happened to Ollie's first birthday montage along with the new song their friends were making again for him?!? Then no word from it and it never came. They're lazy. We never heard from Nelson and the helm friends again until almost a year later. Guess everyone forgot about that already too. Way to copy Jared too. What a boring party.

I will say that although missy was wearing her lace shorts, I did like the black shirt she wore. It was flowy but showed her bump nicely.
I'm glad he has something to play with outside now! If only they'd move that slide outside too...

All those presents for a 2 year old is ridiculous. They said they bought him that much cause they love him, but it's just so they don't have to deal with him. When was the last we say Heidi and Ken? Lol they had to really dig deep to find non family members to come to the party.

I see your point, although Missy was working a full time office job throughout her pregnancy... Back when she first fell pregnant i loved Missy, no joke, i thought she was great but.. i dunno if its the "fame" but she has become a grown ass child.. I cant stand anyone in the family tbh.

So the bump date was complaining and more complaining about having to sit through 3 hrs for the test....she's going to ask her doc why she had to do that. She also answered some questions, guys, she gets asked these all the time. Yes, she's going to try for a VBAC. (I can't remember the other two questions right now) She has also gained 15 lbs so far. The video had about 10 mins of blank screen at the end, I'm sure that's why she took it down.

Did Missy's family have to have tickets to walk around at Vidcon? I looked online and tickets are $200 each. Yikes!

I thought today's vlog was cute. All about Ollie. But yes, way too many gifts. When my son turns 2 im certain we will get 1 big gift and maybe a small filler gift. Same with Christmas. They don't know the difference yet.

I also thought Oliver's party was a little bizarre and that he received way too many gifts. For my son's 2nd birthday, we had many family and friends, seemed as though Oliver's guests was sporadic in relation to the family. Did Missy even send out invitations? I made sure to inform guests that gifts are pretty optional, but if desired that they could bring clothes (such as winter clothes that he can wear for the upcoming season) or small toys, such as balls, trucks, books, or any outdoor toys since his birthday is during the beginning of summer. His "big" gift always came from us. I never find a need for a two year old to get a million different toy figures, stuffed animals, or noneducational items that they will quickly grow old and bored of, while smaller things like books or different recreational balls (soccer, baseball, football) can provide a tremendous amount of use and are relatively cheap. Hopefully Oliver likes Toy Story for a long time because he definitely has everything he could want regarding that interest.

Do you really tell people what type of presents to get? Or is it more of a they ask what he needs, then you say clothes? I know it's kind of off-topic. Just curious.

What was up with that dark, dramatic music at the beginning of the video? It didn't seem like this was going to be a birthday video when it started. That party looked really nice and it looked like Ollie had a lot of fun and that's all I can ask for a kid's party. That water table looks awesome. I thought it was odd that he did the rewind like Jared, it was such a blatant copy. But Jared also added a tear-inducing montage, and I think that would have been more fitting for Bryan to include since he likes montages so much. Re: Lots of presents, I expect that because I see that happen often with first children/grand-children (not saying everyone does this, obviously). Also, that cake was so cute!
