Could she possibly be slacking in her Dr Google skills and mean she actually had meningitis? My cousin had bacterial meningitis & nearly died. I'm no doctor, but I don't think mono has anything to do with your spine...

Actually, I was wondering this myself, so I looked it up. The CDC website says that the virus that causes it can cause viral meningitis. So it's possible. But it's not like she says that only 2 people ever have had it like that.

My dad died of meningitis from his brain cancer. It's a terrible infection of the brain and can travel to the spinal cord.
I think that's what she is talking about...

She was desperate to have a November baby and their parents knew they were TTC and supported them. No way Anberlin was in any way not planned. She's just trying to rewrite history so she doesn't look like the dumbass she is. She wanted 4 kids, mostly to entrap Chuckie forever, and it failed.

Also, mono is a form of herpes Tayler. How did you get it at age 9 when it's spread through bodily fluids. Sounds gross to me, although maybe her whole family had it and she was the only one with a weakened immune system so she got more sick. And while we're at it, an enlarged spleen does not lead to mental illness. She had a sore throat and eating hurt, so she didn't want to eat. She was never in danger of a feeding tube. They just told her that so she'd eat. She wasn't paralyzed for 2 months and unable to walk. If you didn't walk at all for 2 months, you'd have lifelong issues most likely, and wouldn't have just got up one day and walked. Also, extensive research shows no rare side effects happening to 2 people in the US. Either she was completely misdiagnosed, or she's full of shit. You decide.

^ I've never thought of it that way and now this whole story seems like total bs. Tayler reminds me of this creepy lady that goes to my church who doctors thought that she might have cancer and turns out she didn't, but yet goes around saying that she's a cancer survivor, even went and got the pink ribbon tattoo. Everyone rolls their eyes at her whenever she talks about how she's a "cancer survivor".
I don't remember anyone growing up ever getting mono until middle school. So her getting it at 9 years old is very concerning unless she was that one gross kid that would offer to finish everyone else's drinks lol.
