I was half watching her latest shop with me this morning and if I'm not mistaken one of her older boys didn't know what 30+33 was. That is worrisome, those kids need to be in school.

I came across her video the other day and I wonder is there living situation even legal? There are 10 people living f/t in a 3 bedroom 1 bath room house. 8 kids and mom and dad. 5 boys in 1 bedroom, 3 girls in one bedroom and mom and dad in the last. The worst part of all is the one tiny bathroom in the house is in the 3 girls bedroom!!! It's not a bathroom in the hallway. The only way into the bathrooms I'm is by first going I to the girls bedroom and the bath room is inside there.

That is disgusting to me I can't see how this is allowed.

Sorry for all the errors in my post.
I want to add the video is called Large Family/Small House Floor Plan/House overview and they show the floor plan layout at 10:03 into the video. You can see there is no way this get into the bathroom without going into the bedroom first. There was another video I watched and Andrea mentions it that the only way into the bathroom is through the girls bedroom.

Omg I never noticed that. I can't imagine having zero privacy even in your own bedroom and it will be worse when they'll all be teenagers.

also i know ive said it before, but i cannot watch one of her food haul/shopping videos without getting angry at how much junkfood/sugar she feeds herself and family, how do they even have bowl movements and not have diabetes... i know people in the midwest dont care about health but come on, sugar cakes are not a snack, has she never heard of pretzel sticks and string cheese or apples? carrots and ranch maybe? ive NEVER seen a family feed their kids this bad, and the worst oart she says she is frugal and saving money when really she is wasting it.

The dad and oldest son seem so creepy to me.

As is the case in many YouTube families, the older kids seem fairly well-behaved while the youngest is either indulged or ignored by the mom, resulting in bratty behavior. Her entertainment and custodial care is thrust upon an older sibling.

I can't imagine how the dad could make a decent living repairing computers, especially with all of those kids to support. What would Andrea do if the dad dies suddenly or becomes disabled? It's sad to me.

I'm so glad, I stumbled upon this! I've been cringe watching her for a long while now. She is praised in the youtube homeschool mom circles, but I just don't get her, or her meals. Tom seems like a dick.

I'm not surprised at all. I just feel like there's something up with over half those children. I wish they'd choose to focus on the eight they have and maybe find a bigger house.

It doesn't surprise me at all! She brings it up in most videos "oh if we're blessed with another baby" etc. she always manages to slip it in.

I was watching some random videos of hers out of interest, and in one she said they didn't like circumcision but did it anyway because her husband wanted them all to be a matching set. So weird. I'd be slightly creeped out if my husband said that lol.

I'm assuming he probably knocked someone up in college or high school. I don't think we'll ever know the full story.

I feel like she told the whole story at one point. Either in the video or in a comment. I don't recall if he married the girl's mother or not... if he did, it didn't last long (obviously). Neither were ready for a child and gave her to his aunt and uncle maybe. She was pretty transparent about the whole thing.

Maybe it was in a comment because I recall her talking about sending an over the top Easter basket to the girl the first year they were married and feeling silly now or something.
