I have you on block, but out of curiosity I checked your post. I'm not even going to go into how much you defend her, but I will say this:

It was during. The. Fucking. Day. There was absolutely NO excuse to bring her to the ER for a fever when the pediatrician would have taken her right away, as they are supposed to do. She was not seizing, wasn't lethargic. She. Had. A. Goddamn. Fever. After 5 kids she races her to the ER? Let me tell you something, because she is a fucking moron and takes her to the ER instead of just growing the fuck up and swallowing her pride , or even an urgent care center. You know what happens? She gets priority because she is an infant. That means someone who is in pain, with a broken limb, someone who is SUFFERING, someone who was WAITING THERE for hours now has to wait more, all for them to give her ibuprofen and a script for antibiotics. Her having a fever doesn't warrant a trip during Normal business hours to the emergency room. And the fact that you don't see anything wrong with that screams volumes.

Give me a break.

I'll go back to ignoring you now.

I can't believe I used to like Jessica. Right when she got pregnant with Landen I was like "oh wow, this chick is CRAZY!!"
I've said it before but I'll say it again.

She has taken her twice....your acting like she was there for a paper cut. There is no way to diagnose an ear infection at home. And what did you want her to do when he child stopped breathing? Just shrug it off??

What is so hard to understand that she is taking away resources from someone who might be dying (like REAL dying) from gunshots, work related injuries, chronic illness, etc. just to treat a fucking ear infection? Do you have kids? Because it's pretty fucking easy to tell if they have the symptoms of an ear infection. If they do you call your ped and they will fit you in the same day. That's how shit works - not "drag your baby in for a fucking ear infection so doctors who went to medical school for 10+ years & surgeons who went to school even longer can look at that Caillou looking ass baby and say what the internet could tell Messs in five seconds.

Honest question... what si the difference between urgent and emergency? Im in Canada and I took my son to ER because our doc was on vacation, I knew he had ear infection but needed a doc in order to get him prescription. Doctors wait times here are generally longer, as I said when I called about his possible ear infection the earliest they could get me in was over a month.. so I took him to ER. It was empty and we were in/out in less than an hour.
If your baby has a high fever, what are you supposed to do? Especailly if its a miracle princess baby.

Anyway, Jess did act like a twit in that video. So many WHY ARE YOU FILMING THIS moments... Dont film other peoples kids or people in the hospital, first off. Common courtesy. Then shes all HOW ARE WE GOING TO GET THAT IN HER! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!?! OH I KNOW, I'LL PULL MY BOOB OUT. BUT SERIOUSLY CHRIS!!! HOW DO WE OPEN THIS?!!? WHAT ARE WE GOIIIING TO DO... You are acting ridiculous. Do you think they take a baby in before they take in someone with a gun shut??? They take you in order of need. They dont make people with GSWs sit in the waiting room. If a doctor is working in the emergency room then their job is to treat patients in order of priority for whatever they have. Surgeons arent hanging out in the ER treating ear infections instead of being in the OR where they are needed. Settle down.

I had my first baby in Canada and totally understand your confusion - in Canada it's definitely better to take your child to the ER if your doctor isn't available because of wait times. But in the US the ER is for people who are in an absolute emergency - i.e. going into labor suddenly, gunshot wounds, flare-ups of a chronic illness, bone breaks, etc. It's not for something your ped can do very easily - all you need for an ear infection is a prescription for antibiotics and that's something your ped or an urgent care clinic can do SO easily. It's a waste of resources to go to the ER for that. An urgent care clinic is basically a clinic where they don't take appointments and you can drop in, pay your co-pay and have your child seen by a doctor (or at least that's how it works in my area)

YES - As in when Mess goes in with Caillou to the ER she is taking up the time of a doctor or medical professional who COULD be saving a life or helping solve a REAL medical emergency. If Jess came in with Addie and there was a GSW she would be waiting until the doctors were done with the GSW, the GSW patient would not be bleeding to death in the waiting room while the doctors weighed Addie. Even if a real medical emergency came in in the middle of Addie being looked at they would tell Jess she had to wait because someone took priority. I worked in an ER it isnt that big of a deal. Again, this isnt Greys Anatomy.. You arent getting gun shots and "real medical emergencies" all day every day. The majority of it is sick people who need antibiotics.

I don't want to get into the whole insurance debate, but maybe she took her to the ER because she's on Medi-cal. From my understanding, you're put on an insurance plan and some urgent cares only accept certain companies, where the ER will take you regardless.

100% agree. How do we not know that Jess called the GP and they said they were unable to get her in??? I have been to many pediatric ERs before and it was mostly sick kids....maybe one who needed stitches but that was it.

She isnt wasting anyones time by taking her child with 101 fever to the ER. do you understand what happens when babies spike high fevers really fast? She is limited with what she can give Addie due to her age and ear infections are not always that easy to diagnose, especially when the child is to young to tell you "My ear hurts".
You can disagree with her decisions but let's not pretend she stopped someone else from seeking emergency care.

ETA: my daughter got fevers at 101 and ear infections constantly. Guess what? I BROUGHT HER TO THE DOCTOR. Never the ER. Not once. And she's my second. Sorry not sorry. Going to the ER was stupid. They will do the same shit as the doc... tell her to give tyelenol, ibuprofen, warm baths, and antibiotics. That's it.
