I have thought that since I started watching. They both look so busted when they end the vlog late at night.

Definitely. He's the one saying that he suffers from anxiety and depression. I think he's self medicating, with alcohol, or pot or both. I would need something to take the edge off of Missy and Suzanne, that's for sure.princessanp wrote:Sorry if it’s been mentioned I haven’t been keeping up, but is anyone else starting to think Bryan might have some sort of substance abuse? He never drives them anywhere anymore and he is always wearing sunglasses especially the beginning of the vlogs, the other day they were inside and he was wearing them. Today it’s clearly overcast and cloudy and he’s wearing them.

Yep - people have mentioned this before and I blew it off as reaching big time, but I’m starting to think it doesn’t sound so crazy anymore. I think self medicating might be exactly what is going on. I think it’s interesting that he sometimes still drives, but *never* with the kids in the car.lmmomSD wrote:Definitely. He's the one saying that he suffers from anxiety and depression. I watched about 10 seconds of the riding footage and her riding is atrocious. My god. I get that everybody is bad when they start, but they're so cocky and act like they're the best. Her hands were everywhere, her heels weren't down, and her legs were sliding all over. She's going to fall off that horse and it will no doubt be the horse's fault. SMH

My instructors never would have let me get away with floppy legs, bad posture, and "busy hands". Do they not realize that the horse's _mouth_ is at the other end? Put a bit in her mouth and then pull around on it. See what she does.
But she is sooo experienthed. She just needs a "brush up".

She could have just slyly turned the ring around as well, less talk if it was just a band than a obvious engagement ring. (although people would have thought she was already married.. lol)ladyju28 wrote:Nah Cassie should've have taken it off! Just like she did filming her own videos. They've been doing YouTube for years now, Cassie knew that she was being filmed and featured in vlogs. If she was that worried about it she should have taken her ring off. As much as I eye roll the constant filming in the Lanning house, it's not like she didn't know she'd be featured on camera.

One more horsey comment, sorry.
So they are starting the boys out with riding lessons too? And they bought them cowboy boots? Why not just some decent paddock boots? Those are much more practical.
Oh, wait.

Re: DailyBumps100ThreadsOfClickbait (Part 100!)
Same... I've thought for a long time that he drinks a LOT. They have a very impressive alcohol selection in the fridge and freezer on the regular, that is constantly rotating. Plus the outside bar and keg... I'm totally NOT saying that having a bar in your house makes you an alcoholic, but that combined with all the thing OP has mentioned and what i have seen myself on vlogs.. i would say that by the time they go to bed every night hes blitzed. Missy ends the vlog more often than him, the shades on every morning, him not driving at all anymore, the mystery illnesses that plague him in the mornings (although they have talked much less about that as of late.), his "meetings" he is always in when Missy has early morning appts with the boys or whoever, he has only taken Ollie to school once that i know of, (hell he is hardly ever around when missy is up with the boys every morning.) Mimi and Poppa being around most of the time when he's "watching" the boys... there are a ton of things that make me think he has a drinking problem.lmmomSD wrote:Definitely. Re: DailyBumps100ThreadsOfClickbait (Part 100!)
I think Missy's "experience" with horses is probably looking at horses, and being thrown on one bareback when she was about 6. She was a kid when they had horses. She didn't do any of the work associated with them. Hell i have that much experience myself, and my riding is limited to being put on a horse a handful of times as a kid and a couple guided horseback ride tourist things as a teenager in the national park. I think Missy and i are about equal.lmmomSD wrote:She and Annie Leblanc can get thrown together.Laura is dope 23 wrote:I watched about 10 seconds of the riding footage and her riding is atrocious. Bryan is also either completely “on” for the camera, or mellowed out when we see him in the background of other vlogs. Seems strange that he is almost always at one extreme end of the spectrum or the other - there is not much in between. Maybe this is just his way of acting for the vlogs; maybe it’s a sign of something else going on. If that were the only weird thing we were noticing, I’d say no big deal. But combined with all the other little clues, it does seem suspicious.

Come to say the same, there’s no way she’s as experienced as she makes out. Her rein control was awful, her legs all over the place and she needed steps to get on? I haven’t ridden for 14 years but it’s like riding a bike, you don’t just forget how!Laura is dope 23 wrote:I watched about 10 seconds of the riding footage and her riding is atrocious. My god. Re: DailyBumps100ThreadsOfClickbait (Part 100!)
Sure Ollie's too young to ride a horse on his own, but with an adult, he's perfectly fine! I can see him being extremely scared (like he is with EVERYTHING) but he's almost 5! Let him grow up!
I've been horse riding at age 5, and it would really show Ollie what other things that the world has to offer! He'll only be doing it once, so why be worried?
Ugh. Letting Ollie put his feet even near the dinner table is disgusting! I wouldn't want to be even THINKING about the bacteria that lies in that chicken coop!
I swear. Missy's horse will have pretty bows, and super long braids all over, and Missy will match with it to boot. I can totally see her doing that!
I really hope Missy uses this training. Their horse will be able to live a very lavish life. To see it sent away would be heartbreaking.
Why does Ollie still drink out of sippy cups!? I know we don't talk about it much, but the kid's 4 and a half! I feel like he should've been drinking out of normal cups at the age of 3. Could that be the reason why, besides the fact that they never go to the dentist, Ollie's teeth look a little weird?
FINN riding the horse should have been in the thumbnail! He's much cuter, and doesn't just have a blank stare the whole time!
I think they just asked "Is he too young?" for the title, but it's kind of contradicting to Finn riding the horse.
In the background around 07:20, Finn was banging his head against the couch. I'm sure he was just playing, but that kinda weird to look at...
Ugh. I know it's been said a million times before, but I wouldn't want to eat at their house either. Ollie just laid his entire hand on a pancake! Gag. Do they know what it means to be sick!?
Wow! Them eating the same dinner at the SAME TIME!? Too bad the boys still aren't allowed to eat off of real plates

I'm not a huge etiquette guru or stickler for perfect table manners, but Ollie sticking his foot up in the air and Bryan saying "Is your butt ea'in the food, dude?" and laughing about it, seemed just a tad revolting. Also, WHY do they need juice packs at the table? What's wrong with a large container of juice poured into a cup? I try not to be judgmental of their food choices, really I do, but I fail.

I thought the foot thing was gross, too, and I hope they said something to him after the camera was off...but honestly, it was one of the most age-appropriate “kid” things we’ve seen him do to date! He was animated, he was pretending, he was giggling, and I could understand him.
Also, loved that they were questioning whether he was old enough to ride yet...but he came to the ranch with a sippy cup

You're totally right! It wasn't scripted, he was happy, and it was a pretty normal childhood kind of thing. I think I take that part of my comment backcat9480 wrote:I thought the foot thing was gross, too, and I hope they said something to him after the camera was off...but honestly, it was one of the most age-appropriate “kid” things we’ve seen him do to date! This is one of my biggest let peeves! Letting kids play in between bites!! My cousin let's Mt godson do this at every meal. He takes a bite or two then goes to play, comes back in ten minutes and so on. She says that's the only way he'll eat, he's 6 he should know better by now. Drives me nutsbrownprincess93 wrote:"Ollie always comes up with the greatest ideas" - yeah okay he is TOLD what to say in every vlog!! Whoever said earlier about how annoying it is when Missy touches her hair - yeah I totally get it! Okay I'm pretty sure they must have sent some communication to the parents about the school hours - Missy thinks it's just a play centre for Ollie so she doesn't even pay attention to anything going on over there! Finn with all that food in his mouth - does Missy not teach her kids to finish their meals and then go any play? There is no discipline in that house for anything! That was a real stupid vlog - they are just trying to use up time doing "fun" (yeah right) activities but who even cares??

Sorry, double post. I've never ridden a horse in my life and I have no intentions of doing so, and I still thought she seemed very unsure. Wouldn't it be better to wait until she's more confident and ready before buying one? Or maybe I've misunderstood her intentions. Is she just "renting" one?sparklyfluff wrote:Come to say the same, there’s no way she’s as experienced as she makes out. Re: DailyBumps100ThreadsOfClickbait (Part 100!)
So is it safe to assume Rusty is the horse she's buying? I know first they said it would be a long time bc they had to find the right horse, but then it changed to Missy had been looking for a long time, and now she's sure she's found the right one.. (all in the span of a week) and then she called him Her horse..
