DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
I still am saying bora bora. Those little huts on the water. They would have to fly to Hawaii first to get there so it makes sense with the time

And Bryan was so rude to that one person who was being _nice_. But they don't think they owe their viewers anything. They've gotten where they are through "hard work".cat9480 wrote:I personally don’t even think they know yet what their schedule will be. Say what we will about the minions, but there really are a lot of them who are very loyal and look up to DB. I don’t know why they can’t give them a straight answer, if they are expecting the fans to stick around and continue to support their channel or whatever comes next.

I love how Missy said they had figured out how to vlog so that it doesn’t interfere with their lives. One, I think daily vlogging is so inherently tied to their lives that this isn’t really possible. (They may think the boys are living normal lives without cameras in their faces too much, but it’s pretty clear that the boys are affected and will continue to be affected as they grow up.) And two, jobs don’t interfere with life - they are a part of one’s life. Why are they proud of figuring out how to do the least work possible to pump out low-quality content? If they are so proud of their job, why do they treat it as a total inconvenience?

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
"Youtube fame & easy money" have given these two a false sense of self importance. They aren't grateful to their supporters or the money they have made, they think they work hard and deserve it. They have no clue how hard the world is going to slap them in the face once this is over. I don't think they understand that money will not roll in like this in the future, because after all they are invincible. Their rude know it all and better than you new money attitudes show it at every opportunity. The problem with them continuing to churn out crap and now admittedly doing so and not daily vlogging is that they don't have the sale of Maker Studios to fall back on as did Shay and the others who owned it. One scandal or perceived scandal and poof. Once they step down enough they will lose views, subscribers, and the holy grail of easy cash. But these two are blinded by their false sense of invincibility and fame to see it. It will be hilarious watching them scramble to get back to where they once were. They may have cash now, and plenty of it, but once it stops rolling in and they continue to spend like they are they will be crushed when the ATM says "$0.00 return to garage". I've seen much wealthier people than the lumps hit the skids.lmmomSD wrote:And Bryan was so rude to that one person who was being _nice_. But they don't think they owe their viewers anything. Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Exactly. I think they don’t see how this can hurt their brand and business. Take too much time off, and the kids will look elsewhere for their entertainment. There are a lot of family vloggers out there just begging for a loyal audience like Bryan and Missy have!laughsatytfame wrote:"Youtube fame & easy money" have given these two a false sense of self importance. I don’t think it will hurt them to switch to a M-F schedule, but I do think irregular posting, or too much “fluff” will hurt them. I don’t think they are concerned about this though, and think it’s only a matter of time before their fall starts.

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Missy said she wanted "quality time" with her husband...is that what she calls her phone? HAHAHA okay wow she was so touchy feely....she never does that! I think all the channels are getting hammered with slaps on the wrist....they have to stop saying they are "daily vlogging" when it's actually a 10 minute video of useless crap!! I have to say Bryan does WAYYYY more work than Missy so I have no idea why she's so excited to go on vacation...she doesn't even deserve a break from her break!! Bryan is really taking better care of himself and seems more happy - good for him! Maybe he can get his "thuper bithy" wife to actually do something with herself for once too!

They’re not wrong, though. Their child audience WON’T see the little changes we have.onbreak wrote:Whats all the worry??

We know that the fishing vlog was AT LEAST a 2 day delay, if not more. Missy posted the instastories on the same day the vlog went live. She flubbed by not posting them the day before. Which means that they have likely been using scheduled Instagram and Twitter posts to authenticate the vlogs for a while now.
I really don’t see myself following them anymore. We’ll see what happens after their vacation, but I’m predicting a produced segment-style show.
It’ll be pre-filmed toy reviews, crafts, story time and kids songs, broken up with vlog-style clips in between. I also expect Missy’s channel to start a regular schedule of beauty and mom product reviews. All sponsored of course.
Within 18 months they’ll have guest “hosts” and phase out the vlog segments entirely. I think they’ll transition to Missy being the face of a show like the Mom’s View, but geared towards tweens. Bryan will be completely behind the scenes in less than 2 years, aside from musical segments.
I think that Ollie and Finn will also see less screen time. They’ll get trotted out to test out toys and crafts, and dance to whatever kid songs Bryan puts together. And the obligatory Byeee-boop of course. Which I fully expect to get incorporated into an end credit song a la Lawrence Welk.
“Adios, au revoir, auf wiedersehen BYE BOOP!”
Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Looks like they’re in Hawaii. Should’ve known they wouldn’t stray out of their comfort zone (remember London). That also makes sense since they aren’t going to be gone longer....bora bora would take a lot of travel time.

Then it's not Bora Bora. That's a long trip.onbreak wrote:Landed in heaven

So, wait--they "don't even care if there's internet" but the first thing they do the they land is post where they are?
Yeah, they couldn't survive without the attention. And Missy couldn't survive without her phone.

Darn it, I want to stop following them because they are so boring and fake and annoying...but I feel so invested at this point! I want to stick around for the train wreck!Theirmom wrote:I really don’t see myself following them anymore. I think I love you! We've been wondering for years where they came from!YellowSweater1950 wrote:I finally had to join. On one of Missy’s Q&A, her mom talked about a girls club Missy was part of — Denim and Lace. That’s a Hyles-Anderson Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church program. That’s what I think they came out of.
I did a little googling and found this: http://ramblingsofsheldon.blogspot.com. ... s-and.html

That's way too far away. If they have already landed, they're not in Cape Town. Same with Bora Bora. It's 22 hours from LAX to Cape Town.crew96 wrote:Someone said Cape Town, South Africa in an insta comment.
