Amanda876 wrote:Ugh brynn really? Way to make your 2nd kid live in the shadow of your unborn 1sts. This is a different child so treat her that way. I wouldn’t have minded Brynn as the middle name but as a 1st it is really weird to me.

Hahah oops I did not watch that video through. I saw brynn grace and turned it off.. Emma is a better first name but why the need for 2 middles
I mean I guess I get wanting to keep Brynn’s name in the family BUT I also personally think not only is it a disservice to Emma, but also to Brynn. I would rather have that name only associated with my angel baby if God forbid that ever happens. In my opinion it just takes away from both girls. Keeping the name separate would just help with everyone recognizing them as two separate people. But again, that’s just my thoughts on it.

My thoughts exactly. And maybe when Emma grows up and has her own babies, she could name one her own after Brynn. Her having Brynn in her name is just weird and morbid.
Okay, finally got the time to watch the name reveal.
Tbh, the video was actually really sweet. Addressing the video to Emma is a really nice and cute touch. Thank god Justin put aside the ghetto talk. However, Rachelle, like always, had to speak over Justin.
Here’s how I think about it if your dog died you wouldn’t get a new dog and name it the same name. It’s just weird. She added a second middle name just so it could be Brynn. If I was in her position I wouldn’t want the grief of my lost child put on my new one. They are their own person.
I'm a viewer and I legit registered just to see if anyone else is shocked by the name.
That name doesn't flow at all. It sounds extremely awkward "Emma Brynn Grace Swannie" it sounds like she's listing 4 different people. It just flows awkwardly. I understand that people like certain names over the others but it would be better if she chose to spread then out amongst any future children. I can picture:
Brynn Swannie
Emma Swannie
Grace Swannie
Maybe:
Emma Brynn
Emma Grace
But "Emma Brynn Grace Swannie" ...eh Its their kid though.
Also: I don't understand naming a child after a deceased sibling. They're not twins. I feel like she'd have to inquire "Brynn" in every girl name she gives her future daughters, just to be fair.
I loved the name Brynn I figured she'd name her something classic like "Grace" or "Elle" or "Kimber" or "Harper"
Idk if I'm looking too far into it or Rachelle's bad grammar.. but at the end of the video when she said "for being able to have you again" made me really feel that this is Brynn #2

I noticed that. There's no way that was just poor grammar. She probably thinks she's pregnant with Brynn. Why would the word "again" be used at all. This baby isn't even born yet
So Rachelle is butthurt on twitter about people playing pregnancy pranks on April Fool's Day. The post is a dramatic photo that says, "1 in 8 of your friends struggle to get pregnant. 1 in 4 of your friends has lost a baby. Pregnancy is not an April Fools joke."
Who cares if someone wants to play a pregnancy prank? How does it affect her life at all? She's virtue signaling.

I have to be honest i posted the same thing on my Instagram and Facebook, it’s really hurtful to see “jokes” like that. We’ve had a rough infertility road and it’s hard.

That's a little too sensitive in my opinion. It's important to realize that although you struggle with infertility, majority of the population doesn't. Forgetting that fact makes you sound like Rachelle.
The whole world doesn't stop spinning because she suffers from infertility. You can't be mad at other people for getting pregnant or joking about being pregnant. You don't just dim yourself because of someone else's feelings. We're a species that relies on growing the population. Just because you can't participate doesn't mean that others can't/won't/shouldn't. Doesn't work like that, sorry. Somewhere in the world right now someone is accidentally getting pregnant or giving birth as we speak. It's life

I don't mean to sound blunt and insensitive but pregnancy is part of the human experience and if you get upset seeing someone joke about pregnancy or seeing a pregnant woman out in public, that's your issue not theirs. Another tough pill to swallow is the fact that there are perfectly fertile women getting their tubes tied or choosing not to have children. It's like a trans woman being angry that another woman because she can have periods.

What? "Just because you can't particpate doesn't mean that other can't/won't/shouldn't." ???????
All Rachelle did was repost a picture that listed the statistics of women who have struggled to get pregnant and women who have lost a baby. There's nothing funny about joking about being pregnant. I can't imagine struggling with infertility or losing a baby and then hear/see someone joke about getting pregnant. It's insensitive and there's literally no reason to joke about it.

People play pregnancy pranks on their friends and family ...get over it. It's not their fault that her daughter died or that she suffers infertility. It sounds like bitter jealousy to me. Someone playing a april fools joke about being pregnant doesn't even concern her, she's just looking for something to mope about.
