ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
maybe unpopular opinion here but i really like angie i think shes funny and they seem real unlike a lot of yt moms. We adopted 2 of our kids form foster care so i think i understand why she keeps adopting, i think its totally genuine and i think its great.
The only thing is those sponsorships....so many sponsorships.

They are sisters. Same bio mother and father. I think they need to grow into their looks. Old faces on little people.everwhat wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 10:29 pm also, are the twins biologically related to each other? for kids with no shared dna they sure to look alike. i hate saying this bc i REALLY like this family but the twins are not cute. and im always trying to figure out how both of them came out so strange looking.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Wow, is that where she bought the embryos from? I started watching right around when she announced the twins pregnancy so missed all of this backstory.HCB wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 11:59 am Also, think she talks about going to Prague for their embryo adoption in her book? I was wondering what she could possibly have to say in the book that she hasn’t already shared on YT (because when she first announced a book I figured I would read it). I looked and noticed there are no photos from their trip on their IG’s and their Prague trip video is private. Interesting they’d take those down.
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
There’s been speculation that that’s where the twins come from. And Angie and CR did go to Prague around the time they’d have done the transfer/procedure. If you google, you’ll find the Czech Republic is a renowned place for embryo donation. I didn’t give it much thought until very recently thinking about her book because for the longest time I was going to buy it. I thought of some things she could possibly share and went to see the Prague video and pics and they’re all gone. The link to the Prague video is on Pinterest and when you click on it, it says you need permission to view it. I remember seeing a lot of photos from their short, random trip there when they went and thinking it was such an odd thing that they’d just up and go to the Czech Republic without mentioning it before. Those photos aren’t on IG anymore.laurasleaf wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 3:14 amWow, is that where she bought the embryos from? Very interesting! I started watching post the birth of the twins and just assumed they did it in the states. Why would someone go out of country? Cheaper?

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I imagine cost would be a factor. Or wait time since we all know when Angie wants a baby she’s gotta have a baby. If they indeed adopted the twins from there that is. There’s a little evidence that points to it being true but I don’t think they’ll ever admit to it if it is.

I enjoy watching her vlogs. I know they are a religious family but don’t preach on about it. However I won’t be reading the book. The lord directed us etc. I’m not into hearing all that. But each to there own.
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I would definitely buy the story of the twins being adopted from Europe, but as mentioned, Angie hasn’t admitted to it, correct? In a semi-recent video, she referred to the twins as a domestic embryo adoption, but I could see it either way. The twins have an eastern European look that is hard to explain.
Just a quick note on embryo freezing,
I believe they are usually frozen in pairs, at least the 10 that my husband and I had through our IVF were. So the twins were in one vial together. I have wondered if they adopted more embryos from the same couple for future use, or if they just got the one vial. My husband and I plan to donate our remaining four embryos, so I’m curious what options we may have.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
There were only two embryos available from that donation. She said they didn't want to take 2 from a large group, but take all of a small one.Tweedles3 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 3:28 am I would definitely buy the story of the twins being adopted from Europe, but as mentioned, Angie hasn’t admitted to it, correct? Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Yeah I’m not completely convinced but the timing of the trip and the fact that they took down all evidence of it makes me a little suspicious.
I might give the book a chance but if it’s all me me me I will have to put it down. And the fact that CR was surprised he is in the book and she keeps saying “my story” even though the family isn’t just hers makes me think it’s going to be all Angie all the time.

There is no way I'm paying 30 bucks for that book. I wouldn't even pay $10. Y'all can buy it and report back to us.

There is no way Angie would get more than the embryos they used. She would never destroy them as she is most certainly pro-life.

Agreed. She mentions religion one to many times for my liking in the amazon book blurb. I would have considered buying it to learn more about her adoptions (which is the only reason she has an audience), however im not interested in her using this book as a platform to talk about jesus directing her in every third sentence.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Today's video really irked me. At around 2:42 she repeatedly asks her older daughter (who's like, 10) What's wrong with Ben. Like, um I don't know, you're the mom shouldnt you be able to figure it out? When they first introduced ben to the family her two older daughters had more of an emotional reaction than Angela. It seems to be a pattern in big Christain families that the child rearing of the younger kids falls on the older daughters...

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I can understand the Sponsorships, i'm sure that's the big income for them and they got to feed and cloth all those kids. It's bothersome and they take up far too much time in their vlogs, which is sad. I can see it been a massive turn off for some. Especially in the middle of a video and it's up 60 per cent of the running time. They need to cut them down shorter and put it at the end of vlogs.everwhat wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 10:23 pm maybe unpopular opinion here but i really like angie i think shes funny and they seem real unlike a lot of yt moms. I like Angie, the only fault I see with her is she and her hubby try to hard in front of the camera, that it comes off fake at times and she's a bit of a sell's woman in her vlogs, I can see that coming off like she's using the kids as a way to flog her sponsorships and her book. But I do think she adores those children as does her husband, and they are well taken care off. Especially her two oldest daughters, and she's done amazing job with Rosie who seems a happy little girl. The twins are a little wild but they are toddlers if they are still doing that when they get to Rosie's age then it's a problem. But I think Angie loves doing the vlogs, and her kids are great and she's got a nice family.
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I like Angela and her family, too. Things just seem a little different, like she’s trying to keep up with other influencers by doing things she normally wouldn’t do. Like getting her teeth straightened, lip injections, weird fasting diets, etc. I noticed a change when Youtube took her comments away the first time, which coincided with CR leaving his job. It’s made me wonder about their recent adoption, and did they truly want it to happen so soon. I feel for CR, he’s kind of at Angie’s whim. I feel he puts on the biggest act, so when we get tiny glimpses of the real CR, it makes him more relatable with my own husband. A quick example was when Angie dropped her phone into a sewer grate, in the rain, and CR went into the drain to get it for her. You could tell he was upset, like “Here’s your phone, don’t talk to me for 10 minutes”.looper007 wrote:I can understand the Sponsorships, i'm sure that's the big income for them and they got to feed and cloth all those kids.
