Re: Sam & Nia
If he were a competent nurse he would know that Nia needs to be examined to make sure all the tissue has been expelled so she doesn't get an infection. Sometimes it doesn't all come out naturally and the doctor has to to a D&C. She could become septic and die, worse case scenario. But apparently they skipped over the obstetrics portion at the Sam Rader School of Medicine and Bigotry.ferriswheel wrote:Because Sam was an E.R nurse and thinks he knows everything.

That's not standard practice here for a miscarriage at 6 weeks.sfgiantsgirl wrote:If he were a competent nurse he would know that Nia needs to be examined to make sure all the tissue has been expelled so she doesn't get an infection. Re: Sam & Nia
People just diagnose themselves with a miscarriage then? That doesn't make sense. Are you sure you aren't thinking about chemical pregnancies?youmustbecrazy wrote:That's not standard practice here for a miscarriage at 6 weeks.sfgiantsgirl wrote:If he were a competent nurse he would know that Nia needs to be examined to make sure all the tissue has been expelled so she doesn't get an infection. Doctors can confirm you've had a miscarriage by the falling HCG levels. Without having seen a doctor, how can you be sure it's a miscarriage vs low progesterone levels or implantation bleeding?
I've had 3 losses, and here in Canada they often don't see you for regular pregnancy visits until 12 weeks (as long as you're healthy), but they definitely want to see you if you have any kind of bleeding. I can't imagine not going to see a doctor. Maybe Nia didn't worry about medical tests because she really believes it's God's will, but I dunno.... doesn't make sense to me.

Re: Sam & Nia
You can go to the doctor, sure. Most women I know don't go unless they're unsure if they are miscarrying or not. Some doctors may order blood tests, some wouldn't unless you asked. A d&c or ultrasound wouldn't be considered in a routine miscarriage until about 8-9 weeks due to the low rates of complications in early miscarriages. Again, it may vary from doctor to doctor or maybe it's just a cultural difference. Australia has a colloquialism - "she'll be right". it pretty much sums up our attitude to almost anything.

Re: Sam & Nia
Just to make sure I wrote that clearly, lol: I was only talking about early miscarriages when I said most wouldn't go to the doctor. Prior to about 8-9 weeks. All my 'mum' friends know these rules from their doctors - if your bleeding is heavy, clotted and/or painful it's likely a miscarriage and nothing you can do about it (see a doctor if you wish). If it's not, see a doctor to find out what's going on.
Re: Sam & Nia
Would you take another pregnancy test, just to make sure you're no longer pregnant?
How do you know it's a miscarriage vs. bleeding and you're still pregnant (since that does happen)?

Re: Sam & Nia
That is what I did. Multiple positive tests became multiple negative tests. I also don't want to speak for other people's experiences, but I have had a significant bleed during my 9th week of a pregnancy as well. It was enough to soak almost 3 pads, so there was a lot - baby was fine and they couldn't find any reason for the bleeding (I was unable to get a scan to check for a few weeks). What I can say is this - my miscarriage was excruciatingly painful, there were large clots, and I was soaking through maternity pads every couple of hours. My non-miscarriage bleed was clot free, not painful and nowhere near as heavy as well as relatively short lived. I'm not saying you can diagnose purely based on that, but it was extremely obvious to me what my miscarriage was.Anniekins wrote:Would you take another pregnancy test, just to make sure you're no longer pregnant?

Re: Sam & Nia
Sooo here is something really interesting....when you miscarry don't you have your period for quite some time after? How is Nia already hitting the pool at the waterpark? She clearly avoided going in the pool just a few days ago for that reason? Something just doesn't add up here! Also...what kind of hair cut did Abram get? They only took off a small lock....they could have done that at home for free! I'm interested to see the 'fake' set up at their house for the interview that will happen with ABC. Both of these two need to come down to earth and stop thinking the world revolves around them - I'll bet most of the people they hang out with tell them not to vlog with them!

I miscarried at 8 weeks and passed the clots with the help of medicine. I passed clots over two days and bleed a total of 4-5 days. It varies a lot though.brownprincess93 wrote:Sooo here is something really interesting....when you miscarry don't you have your period for quite some time after? Re: Sam & Nia
IMO Nia was never pregnant at all. Her period was late and she bleed very heavily that month. But now she's a "survivor" I guess. I hope if they keep doing interviews eventually someone will question why the hell they didn't go to the doctor.

Re: Sam & Nia
I have been reading here since the fake pregnancy stunt, but have never posted before. Sam spent nearly $400 on an Ashley Madison account back in 2013, just a few days before their son was born (idk his name). Someone posted this on twitter saying it shows his purchase history, they said that the only way this could not be him is if there was another Samuel Rader in the same town, which isn't happening. They also said that Sam and Nia blocked them on twitter without him ever tagging them in a tweet, so they are obviously trying to hide something. They blurred out the street address and IP.

Re: Sam & Nia
if i'm correct, they share a Twitter? if so, he is probably doing damage control blocking before nia sees it. wonder if anything can send it to where she can for sure see it.
