Lily isn't being taught Spanish as a second language, they are just teaching her words here and there. And teaching 2 languages does not cause speech delays, it's just a myth. My son is being raised bilingual and his speech is at the same level as other kids his age.

I agree. She is just teaching her some words here and there. I always speak spanish to my daughter because she will learn English at school. (Even though she already learned english from watchinh cartoons) she's 2 and a half now and understands and speaks both languages

Her speech is what seems most behind to me as well as just how she acts in general. It definitely could just be that Lily is very shy and introverted but it just seems like something else may be going on. I do think Lily is smart though.
I agree with a previous poster...I don't believe that Lily sees the amount of doctors and specialists that V claims she does. I think V came out and said Lily sees all these doctors because people were starting to question why Lilys speech wasn't getting any better. And V uses the NICU stay as a fall back. I've known babies to be in the NICU for a year and they don't have the speech delays that Lily does. But, like I said I think V just doesn't want to admit to herself there might be an issue.

Ok...Not insinuating that she is lying but I am thinking this may be an old photo. JW which finger it was, I didn't see the video lol. All of her fingers look unwrapped and whole in this photo.

She did say in a video that she was suppose to air it out after like a week. Although if she's working out it should be covered since sweat & nastiness from equipment could get in it & cause it to become infected. At home you air it out but not working out or going out. Gross!
I personally don't even think she chopped off that much. Maybe because I've seen a lot worse.

I think it could be that her speech is delayed even if V doesnt come out and say it, all those apps with flashcards and pictures and words is typical speech therapy treatment for a speech delay. It doesnt have to be from her Turners or from "learning two languages"(I personally dont consider her few words in spanish as being raised in a billingual home) but I think there is some sort of delay there that any child could have.
I am glad to see she is(or at least was) seeing a speech therapist! At her age it is really easy to get over a speech delay(as long as its nothing more).

I am a SLP student so thats just my opnion from the few minutes we see on camara whenever a vlog comes up, I am sure her speech therapist knows exactly what is going on and I am sure V knows as well!

I don't know, I just think we don't see enough of her speech to say that there's a delay. I'm not saying that there isn't one either, because I have no clue. I just personally don't see it.
I have seen improvements in her speech. She says more words, and not always prompted by Vanessa. Her pronunciation even improved a bit.

Fairplay, you said your daughter had a rough year. What happened? Does she have a disability? How old is she? I hope she's doing well now.

Aw, thank you so much. She is doing absolutely well now. She was 26 weeks gestation when she was born and had suffered undeveloped organs like her bowels and her liver. Those were the main problems but there were other problems like brain hemorrhage/chronic lung disease that she endured. We worked very hard for her and she is striving and doing amazing. I followed Vanessa because I related to her and there weren't many moms I could relate to besides her. A big reason why I dont really like her much is because I think she's annoying and lazy. My take on her though.

I made a youtube video of my daughters first year of life in the hospital and finally discharged after a year and a half. I just made it public and if you want I can private message you the video. It's sad but it's nice at the same time because she resulted to a normal and healthy life now:) (knock on wood)

I don't have any idea. Maybe she needs to keep them for a while to show to the police in case it's the same person who threatened them last year. Or maybe she didn't see them. Maybe she will delete them. No idea really.

We know Lily has a speech delay, and that she sees a speech therapist every week. Vanessa explained her delay in Lily's 3 year update. So what exactly is the argument? She has one, they're working on it. I think the bilingual thing was strictly when she still lived with her mom because I think her mom only spoke or mostly spoke Spanish in her apartment. Now that Lily isn't there much, I think she's only getting some words here and there.

So that was an old photo from the gym! Good catch nessieboo. She deleted it and has now posted a video asking if people want to see her finger. Is this girl dumb? She cuts off a good chunk of her finger not even a week ago, makes a YouTube video about, and then posts an old picture claiming she went to the gym today - and in the picture her finger isn't cut. WTF. Does she not double check anything, ever? Is she that bad of a liar lol?
