Do you think B&M are loving enough to adopt? If they want a little girl so badly, why not apply for adoption and specify you want a girl? I'm sure they can afford it.

I'm also sure Missy wants a little girl who looks like HER. I doubt they would ever adopt, but want others' input. I just don't think they have a spot in their hearts to love an adopted child like it's their own.

She treats Finn, her own flesh and blood like a burden and an inconvenience. So no, I highly doubt they would ever adopt. And if they did, it would be a disaster. You cant give a child away as easily as animals :-/

Finn is getting a lot of screen time.. I love it
Wish they'd show him how to use the the toy correctly. Even if it takes 100 times.. He'll eventually realize he can drive it around and itll stick.. And just. Maybe he wont barf one of these days.
Pizza again.. What are they 17 year olds? How can they eat that crap? I'd feel (like bryan looks) so full and bloated everyday.. Its got to be miserable to be rich with YouTube $$$

She and Bryan would only adopt if there was such a thing as a designer baby. They had a designer cat who was given to Jimmy, and a designer dog who will probably be given away soon too. They couldn't re-home a baby. If they could, poor Finn probably would have been long gone. I'm just joking about Finn, of course - but there's always a little truth behind a joke. Considering how they love "designer" things, and Missy simply MUST HAVE a girl, I'm about 99.9% sure they will go the gender selection route because they are essentially making a female baby of their own design. The only reason I'm not 100% sure is because they are on this Jesus kick now, and they may have religious objections to doing gender selection.

I think if they do gender selection Bryan will have a hard time NOT talking about it. He likes to brag about having all his "new" "exclusive" stuff.

Very good point. Big Bucks Bryan would have a hard time keeping his mouth shut on that! If they did vlog about it, it would be an interesting story line. They might get their mommy audience interested again. I'm a mom, and I might start watching again just out of curiosity. Then again, they might alienate the few moms from the loss and IF community since Fertile Myrtle Missy would be going through IVF simply to get her preferred gender and not because of IF. Sadly, Missy can't be happy that she can easily get pregnant since all of her pregnancies have been boys. They also might lose the interest of the kids who watch now because it would be a departure from the toy vlogs. As it has been mentioned here before, their audience of little kids are too young to even understand what a contraction is, so they would be super confused about the gender selection process. Now that I think about it, Bryan might make the vlogs about IVF, claiming that they're doing it because of IF, and won't mention the gender selection part. He'll combine that with toys somehow: TODDLER AND BABY GET A NEW BABY SISTER! HATCHIMAL SLIME POOL REBORN IVF PARTY!!!

They could easily put the videos on her channel which is more mommy related stuff. They wouldn't qualify for IVF anyway. They could try sperm sorting.

Maybe if she kept it on her own channel she could gain the respect a bit that way for her. She could make it a new $erie$ for those who want to go through it themself's. I'd watch if she kept it on her channel and not put it on the daily bump$ channel.

I don't think that the children who watch them care how they get a baby girl. They just want DB to have one. "Who thinks they should have a girl next? Like if you agree". It's sickening.
I went on a rant already because SlyFox asked their viewers if they should have another kid. If course it was overwhelmingly "yes". What upsets me is that these children watching think it's a sitcom. They want their favorite to have a baby and don't understand that it's a LIFE. It's not a toy. And when YouTube goes away, there will still be a child who needs love, and food and clothes and an education.
Sorry-- this is just making me crazy this week. The comments on E&J about how they should have a baby, and SlyFox, and every other family vlogger of child bearing age-- they don't understand. It's not a Reborn doll. It's a person.
And I totally think they'll do gender selection. Missy hates being pregnant. If she is going to go through it again, she damn well better get a girl. And no, I don't think there's enough room in their hearts to adopt.

There are ways they could justify gender selection to their audience. It wouldn't take much to suggest that the heart defect the boys have is genetic, but only for males.
They could pass off doing gender selection as a way to have more children without passing on a male-only genetic defect.
They've already set the stage for that explanation if they choose to go that route.

Personally I don't think they need to justify anything. They want a baby girl. They have the resources to make it happen. They don't qualify for IVF, so they wouldn't be creating male embryos just to destroy them later. I don't see a problem.

I honestly don't have much of an issue either. Whatever. But I think that the IF and loss communities might. And their whole "Christian" schtick lately makes it problematic too.

I really don't care if they do gender selection. As long as the child is loved, then whatever (though clearly that can be touchy with B&M).

Like lmmomSD said, the loss communities could have an issue with it. Those are people who desperately want a baby and maybe can't necessarily afford to do needed treatments, let alone something specific like gender selection (obviously gender selection can be done so as not to pass down certain genes or diseases one gender can get, but that wouldn't be B&M's real reasoning) and then they see these two not only doing that, but hardly caring for their boys just because they're boys. That can be a painful thing to watch, I'm sure.

And no, it wouldn't be very godly of them according to religious standards. Then again, some Christians think general, necessary IVF is bad, so if they want to please that particular crowd, then that's a separate issue...

They are clearly getting a lot of heat for not paying attention to Finn so it's time for some fake camera love! Missy claims she only gets out of bed when Finn gets up? Yeah right!!! They either keep that boy in there crying for hours or shove him back in there the minute he's fed breakfast! Bryan eating pie and then huffing and puffing down the hall to get Finn....get on a bloody treadmill already!! Missy putting on her staged hug and kiss for Finn - even he was like "seriously mom stop trying to act for the camera" #Sadness okay Ollie doesn't even know how to read numbers on the dice? Doesn't he start school in a few weeks? Good luck with that!!

I think it's silly that anyone would have an issue. They wouldn't be doing anything wrong. Missy isn't the first person in the world who has wanted a baby girl. People have tried to influence this type of thing since the beginning of time. Bryan and Missy aren't the blame for anyone else's infertility or inability to afford fertility treatment. They shouldn't feel the need to appease anyone with their methods of having another child. They should do what makes them happy.

That is true. But it's also not how the world works. They started vlogging as a "way to share their loss", because supposedly Missy found a dearth of support for parents who had pregnancy losses. They still have some fans (I believe) from that group. Not _all_ of their fans are children, although most of them seem to be. And those people will be peeved I think, if after all that, they do gender selection. I agree that it's nobody else's business, but their very lifestyle makes people think it's their business.

This. I wouldn't judge Missy and Bryan for using gender selection, but I also wouldn't judge the IF and loss community if _they_ judged Missy and Bryan.

I watched Ollie's birth vlog because that's back when I actually watched (and enjoyed) their videos. Bryan looks and sounds completely different. Dare I say it... he was almost handsome
