So I’m confused. People have posted before about Haylee talking about weird sex stuff with Dann, but I haven’t seen anything on her IG? Where are you seeing all of this and what is she even saying?
Re: Hayleeandfamily: Messy Divorce, New Baby Daddy Remorse | Part #5
I was thinking it was for communal supplies too, but she also got new headphones. Those aren't communal...jellybean wrote:Yeah she spent less than two months in her other class but she may have been in one where the teacher just turns everything into community supplies that all the kids share.AliceInWonder wrote:I was thinking the same thing.Kjaysmommy999 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 5:32 pm Why does hazzel need more school supplies? Sure her school wouldn’t mind the fresh pencils she bought for the beginning of the year. Or am I missing something?

I hope she does ok in her new school, she's been through so many big changes already.

She had it on her IG story... people were asking her questions, and she was answering them. So, it's gone now, unless someone took screenshots of it.Mamadrama324 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 6:16 pm So I’m confused. Hopefully someone in her new school... teacher, someone... will say something to Haylee and she will attend speech therapy again. I can't imagine her being 15 and still talking like that, when it can be corrected now.

I noticed she shouted out BritneyAndBaby today. She's shaded her in the past, saying "me and Britney are nothing alike" when people first started comparing them both bringing new men into their kids lives so quickly. They're exactly alike.

I think she just wanted an excuse to go to target and spend money honestly.

On IG she said that the teacher didn’t give the supplies back. It probably became communal supplies. Maybe even mixed with the entire grade.

Probably. My daughters school had a supply drop off and you just dropped everything into a box eith everyone else's supplies in the class, so I doubt her old school would go through all of it and pick stuff to give back to her.

If that's all true, I would be rather pissed off. Going out and spending all that money on all the things the teacher wanted for my child, then it doesn't even go to my kid? It goes into a communal supplies for everyone... and if someone's parents decided they didn't wanna buy 2 packs of crayons and 2 packs of markers etc etc... they are just using what I bought my kid and others bought their kid, on our dimes... now, I don't mind donating to families who can't afford to buy school supplies. I don't mind donating things to teachers, so they have supplies through the year... but, communal supplies... that's not something I would put up with. School supplies aren't cheap, especially when teachers are asking for certain BRAND name items.Lolislol26 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2019 4:16 pmKjaysmommy999 wrote:I think she just wanted an excuse to go to target and spend money honestly.

Wow I just watched the past couple vlogs she posted (I was kinda behind because of being uninterested tbh) and poor hazel. Her speech is TEREIBLE. she seems like such a sweet and smart little girl, but she seriously needs help with her speech. I wonder how shes handling this whole new life shes had to adjust to. New house. New baby. New "daddy". She seems like she's kind of being forced to be super independent. Not saying it's a bad thing, especially since she's like, what? 7? But still. I feel bad for her always having to be a mini helper with EVERYTHING since the baby came.

It’s pretty common knowledge that supplies are communal, what are you going to do? Waste your time labeling your kids stuff and it will all get put into the same bucket with the rest of them anyway.ThisIsMeCeej wrote:If that's all true, I would be rather pissed off. They’re also required to pay a $10 supply fee to the school. There is even items they’re suppose to get for the nurses office!

There was a mom who labeled every single piece of her kid's construction paper with his name because she didn't want it to be shared lol.
I personally have no problem with communal supplies. Our schools are underfunded and our teachers are underpaid to be buying class sets of supplies themselves. Take it up with the government.

Re: Hayleeandfamily: Messy Divorce, New Baby Daddy Remorse | Part #5
Yeah it's only fair for each parent to chip in a bit instead of it all coming out of the teacher's pocket since the teacher will still end up buying things throughout the year anyway. There's been a trend on twitter called #clearthelists to help teachers stock their classrooms and it's crazy how much they have to provide themselves. There are other countries where the school will provide it but that's just not the case in most of America.jellybean wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 8:26 am There was a mom who labeled every single piece of her kid's construction paper with his name because she didn't want it to be shared lol.

I’m studying to become a teacher but I also come from a long line of them. I’m so grateful that my mom is passing stuff down.

I didn't watch the school supply video, but also Hazzel would need new things like notebooks because why would she want her old school information in a notebook or other supplies she's used up when she's starting a new curriculum?

It’s crazy how schools in the US have to have students chip in and buy supplies for the entire class. Over here in Canada we each just got a list and bought enough stuff for ourselves. Makes me sick seeing how underfunded schools are over there.

Once you get into middle school and high school they’re not shared. I don’t see a issue with putting it all together, I’d feel better about it if each parent just gave a sum of money and the school ordered it on the behalf of the families since it’s shared. It would be much cheaper that way especially since they have tax exempt and parents don’t always have those options. Parents on a tight budget could even do a payment plan.
I can only imagine how many arguments it prevents with less packs of crayons and markers out at once. Helps kids share, too.
