It's hard to read tone so maybe I'm taking your post wrong but it came off very hateful towards all Mormons. It's never okay to discriminate against anyone because of their religious beliefs.

As a Mormon I can assure you they don’t represent me or anyone I know.
And as a human with a lung condition who is at high risk if I contract the virus I am disappointed that you would say I would be wiped out because I practice a specific religion.
And for informational purposes the Mormon church has suspended all church meetings worldwide in an effort to help slow the spread of the disease.

If he/they believed and acted on what is the mormon faith then shouldn’t they have at least three months and up to a years supply of cold storage food in place? We all know that hasnt happened - they did a sponsorship for some delivered to your door food storage company which probably yielded them one box worth of stuff. Hes at the supermarket every day at the moment.
Heck im not even religious, but I could cook 30-60 days worth of meals out of my cupboards and freezer at any given point.
I get not taking coronavirus seriously. I work in the medical field and we arent overly concerned at this point (New Zealand). My job is safe and stable, my husband is in construction and his job is stable.
I am however prepared at home (for any emergency) - we have water, dry goods, uht milk, canned foods, pasta, rice etc, propane cooker and extra gas, gas bbq, probably a years supply of paracetamol and ibuprofen. But that’s usual for us after all of the earthquakes. I have sleeping bags, tents and grab bags (id, spare bank cards, cash, toiletries, daily medications, spare chargers, important documents (copies)) for “grabbing and go” if something was to happen. We have been evacuated before and it could happen again. Be prepared people, however you dont need 24 dozen toilet rolls and 30kg of rice!
