Wow, it is still being drug out. She could honestly not have the name picked out.... but I doubt it. I think she is playing her loyal viewers that she doesn't know yet so she can drag it out and make a bigger deal out of announcing the name. She is loving this attention. I wonder if she ploys for attention like this with her family or if they are at the point of not caring and not playing into it.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
The poor girl has been around for over 9 days now. You think they would be closer to naming her than five first and five middle names away.
Honestly, I'm shocked that they can come up with five middle names related for the conception and birth/labour. I'm very curious now.
Any of you know anybody who has took this long to name their baby? Or has took this long themselves? I think its sad that all the other kids were named so quickly and she's being called her sisters name...

This is so bizarre! There is no excuse for not having a name picked out yet. She had 9 months! Even if you don't know the sex, normal folks pick a boys name and a girls name. I always had names for both genders by 20 weeks.

I think it's dumb that she was so persistent on NEVER thinking of names while pregnant and now she has a week and a half old baby with no name.
I know of a girl who took a month and like three days to name her baby. They ended up finally naming her Tilly Marie.
Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
In Texas you have 10 days before they name the baby "baby girl **** or baby boy ***) I only know this because I have a friend who was actually named baby boy **** his parents had to go back and change it (he is 27 now and thinks his parents were ridiculous for letting this happen...on his original birth certificate it actually says baby boy ****. I also had a friend who did not know the gender and came very close to this deadline before picking a name for her baby, this year, so the rule still applies. (in Texas atleast)

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
She is dragging this out wayyyyyy too much! If I miraculously gave birth to octuplets right now, without even knowing I had been pregnant, I could name all 8 of them faster than this.
Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
LOL yeah seriously... i dont think their names give them any individuality at all, since they rhyme with their siblings. agreed the middle names are stupid too... why not choose a family member's name, a friend who you admire.. why is it based on how they're born?? and i believe lucys explanation for jacelyn's middle name (among many different stories) was that she was conceived during a rain storm when the power was out? how awkward to explain that nameichigo8504 wrote:I wonder which child will be first to change their name when they become an adult?

Oh, I can assure you they will choose a name for you. I used to work in law and dealt with the registry all the time.NightFox wrote:They don't, you just get finedChatabox wrote:It's 60 days. But I never knew they choose a name for you. The forms just say you have 60 days to register the birth.thegooseiscooked wrote:In Australia, if you haven't decided on a name and registered the birth within a certain period of time, the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages chooses a name for you. Can't remember what the time frame is, maybe 2 weeks or a month...?
Wouldn't that be funny!
They also reserve the right to change a name they don't think is appropriate.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Meh i went a really long time without choosing a name, i had very early preterm labor and we didn't expect the baby to make it so i was quite detached aswel as being very sick myself and not think of much except getting through each day. DH and i couldn't agree on a name and i had PPD and baby was super high needs so it took forever to think of one we actually both liked and that fitted. So all in i don't find 2 weeks a long time because of our circumstances, but for someone like Lucy it seems unusual because of how she named the other kids. It does fit her personality though, wanting to be different and get attention.

Since the middle names are symbolic I think the middle name should be Lovenox or maybe Hematoma, or maybe Clot-hilda? Perhaps just Rusty for the color of blood?

She spells rain "Raine" (Jacelyn's middle name) lollittlemiss wrote:I have a feeling that the middle name is going to be "Dawn" because by Lucy & Joel's logic, this is their first day birth. So while she was giving birth, the sun was coming up and that would be "Dawn". (As discussed above... 8:19 AM and 1:02 PM are both during the day... the only night one would be 3:00 AM for Kacen...)
I've heard of families giving their kids middle names of special family members like grandparents, etc. but I've never heard of picking it based on their conception and labour/birth. I just think that is ridiculous. I will say that it is really good that they spell the middle names correctly though!! Can you imagine if it was Fayth, Rivar and Rainn or something like that. lol
Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
According to social blade, she took a jump in daily views around the birth announcement and then plummeted in the past few days. Seems no one cares anymore.

Actually Jacelyn was also a rainbow baby, and Lucy said it would be ridiculous to have the baby's name be Rainbow. So she shortened it to Rainekiki wrote:LOL yeah seriously... i dont think their names give them any individuality at all, since they rhyme with their siblings. agreed the middle names are stupid too... why not choose a family member's name, a friend who you admire.. why is it based on how they're born?? and i believe lucys explanation for jacelyn's middle name (among many different stories) was that she was conceived during a rain storm when the power was out? how awkward to explain that nameichigo8504 wrote:I wonder which child will be first to change their name when they become an adult?

I don't think even Lucy remembers why she named her kids what she did. In this video she states the she came up with Raine, because when she conceived Jacelyn a storm that went through and they lost power and it was raining a lot. She starts to discuss it at 1:35sillylilly80 wrote:Actually Jacelyn was also a rainbow baby, and Lucy said it would be ridiculous to have the baby's name be Rainbow.
