When I was pregnant with #4 I convinced myself it was a boy even though I really wanted a girl (had 3 boys) I was so afraid of gender disappointment.

I think this too. Up until we found out the gender of our son, we swore up and down it was a girl...then walking into the room for my ultrasound, the thought hit me that "this baby is a boy, and I don't know how to feel." Turns out, we have a boy. My husband loves him to death but thought his little boy parts were girl parts and a hand

It is nice to have everything you need for one gender. I honestly think that with the losses they've had and how scared Katie was, they will be happy no matter what they have. I'm glad Katie seems to be relaxing and enjoying things more, and not seeming as worried. It would be so hard to go through an entire pregnancy that scared. It's like the farther along she gets, the better she feels about it.

I agree. This was our experience at least. With our second we were hoping for a girl, but that resulted in a late loss. After that, boy or girl... we really no longer cared. By the time we were up to multiple losses like Katie, we just wanted a healthy "take home baby" in our arms and had NO expectations outside of that.

Not everyone is as able to forget the past as B&M are. As we saw with Katie's terrified pregnancy reaction (that I also completely understood) she's clearly still effected.

HS, I definitely think that may play a major role for some who face gender disappointment. Experiencing losses sort of changes the outlook on expectations about gender...something some are often able to step back and have a better perspective on what really matters. A healthy pregnancy, and baby. This is something I think will always be a relatable attribute for C&K that I appreciate.

I'm so glad they said that if they could choose, they would pick a girl. I dont even care what a person would pick. Im just tired of all the people who get all butthurt and rip on parents who have a preference. Saying you want one gender over the other doesn't ever mean you wont love the kid if they are the opposite gender. Most people are just acknowledging stating a trivial preference.

It could just be habit with Having MG already. I didn't that when I was pregnant with my son because I was so used to referring to her/she ect with my daughter all the time

Gaine's cuddling with the dogs was jusr as sweet as cas be. She especially adores Emma. I recall a picture of Gaines before she was walking. She had propped herself up against the side of the ottoman where Emma had been laying to catch some sun, and then attempted to put Emma's foot in her mouth. It was so freaking cute!

I was totally expecting when Cullen was shaving his beard that he was doing a sponsorship of some kind. Had a nice laugh when it was a trashbag and other random things! Total redneck hack, Cullen! Love it!

Yes, Americans are so bad about wearing their shoes in the House. I'm American and it drives me completely insane. Shoes are dirty!

I have to agree with everyone here, Cullen is a cute dad, and the most attractive YT dad even though he isn't the typically hot guy material, if that makes sense. They are such a cute family and honestly if some of you think Cullen is immature I would hate to see what you thought of people in my life, lol. Some people are goofy and silly, some aren't.

Those dogs are extremely patient. But it only takes one time for a dog to get pushed too far, and snap! Poor thing gets put down because the parents wanted a cute moment for the vlog, and the child is possibly scarred. And if you comment this on the video, you will be swarmed with idiots saying "those dogs LOVE her! They'd never ever hurt her!"

Wanted to add-- cuddling is fine. But lying on them is not. Trying to ride them isn't either. C&K are usually pretty good about telling MG to be gentle. I'm surprised they let her do that.

Agreed. When I saw that gif yesterday, I got goosebumps. Emma does not look comfortable. Tolerant, yes, but uncomfortable.

I think they said they'd officially know two weeks after whenever the appointment they just had was.
