I know they didn't ask me but I just hated to see this! Poor Sophia, she'll be rushed along now and Mommy might not handle things too well.....
Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
Yup, major eye roll when I saw that announcement.

Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
They uploaded their pregnancy announcement twice.
Im going to say good luck. With Cory being out of town most of the time she will be even more depressed and have more to do.

Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
My cousin has 3, three and under and always looks so stressed and tired her 2nd and 3rd are 15 months apart and she has a husband that’s involved and home to help sometimes. Having them that close together is hard. I’m not sure if she was thinking clearly, I mean she was crying and complaining about Sofia’s baby talk and happy squealing...

Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
I have 5 biological children and only my last two are over two years apart. My oldest two are only fifteen months apart and my second and third are only 18 months apart. It was very hard when my oldest three were very little. Thankfully for me my last two were both excellent babies and toddlers which made my load easier. If I wasn't almost 33 when I had my oldest they would have been more spread out. They now range in age of 13 to almost 7. I do understand where Britt is coming from and how she feels and I wish her luck. She's going to need it! When they get to be older when they're so close in age they end up being each others best friend. My 13 and 12 year old sons are inseparable and do everything together. I have a six bedroom house and offered to give them separate rooms they both started crying, because they didn't want to be separated so together they stay, lol.MommaLindsey2 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 7:04 am My cousin has 3, three and under and always looks so stressed and tired her 2nd and 3rd are 15 months apart and she has a husband that’s involved and home to help sometimes. Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
She's talked about wanting a big family and recently said that she plans to be pregnant or postpartum over the next 10 years, which struck me as odd considering she's already 34. I'm not sure if she did the math, but does she really plan to be having her last at 44? It's not impossible, but a little unusual. But according to Brittany, if her husband looks at her funny she gets pregnant, so of course she'll have no problem having kids well into her 40s. *eyeroll* Does anyone else think that's just the most obnoxious thing to say about fertility? "Oh, if my husband looks at me funny, I get pregnant." Um, okay, but that's not how it works. You were having sex, the same thing the rest of us do to get pregnant. We were fortunate to get pregnant relatively easily, but it's not the kind of thing I brag about, and I don't assume that will always be the case.
In that sense, I get trying again so soon if you want multiple children and you're already in your mid-30s. I don't care for either of them, but if you want more kids and you can afford it, go for it. But she comes across as less than smart. How could she not know if her anti-depressants for postpartum depression were safe to take while trying to get pregnant? Isn't that a conversation you have with your doctor? I always ask if there are any risks with a medication while breastfeeding, I would assume she would ask a similar question about risks to a fetus. Then again, before she finally went to her doctor to get help for her postpartum depression, she made a video saying she was going to "fight back against postpartum" by wearing dresses and burning candles from a brand sponsor.

They handed their 10 month old a bag and expected her to open it to reveal whatever was inside? she was more interested in crawling and you could see Britney wasn't thrilled it's another girl
Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
She’s already talking about trying for more babies after this one. Geez slow down! Enjoy what you have now

So Sophia is in daycare now...no wonder she plans on having baby after baby, its definitely easier when you ship them off to daycare even though youre a stay at home mom....also, Britt is on Instagram losing her sh*t on people calling her out for daycare. Calling people "bitches" and using the term "FN".

Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
I have no issue with daycare if it's for a couple days and hours a week to socialize a toddler. I did it with my oldest to get him around other children his age.FakingIt_MakingIt wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 11:44 am So Sophia is in daycare now...no wonder she plans on having baby after baby, its definitely easier when you ship them off to daycare even though youre a stay at home mom....also, Britt is on Instagram losing her sh*t on people calling her out for daycare. Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
I don't necessarily have an issue with it. It explains why she thinks having babies VERY close in age isn't a biggie though... I do have an issue with how she's talking to her subscribers though, its unprofessional and rude.PirateWench8 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 11:51 amI have no issue with daycare if it's for a couple days and hours a week to socialize a toddler. Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
Cory travels a lot, doesn't he? I had my son in a Montessori program at 1 for a couple of hours 3 days a week, because his dad was deployed, and I needed a few hours a week to get things done and get to appointments. It was good for him.PirateWench8 wrote:I have no issue with daycare if it's for a couple days and hours a week to socialize a toddler. Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
Yes he does and he is gone for weeks at a time. Yes she's a stay at home Mom, but she goes weeks where her husband isn't home to help her at all. My husband worked 12 hour shifts when my older four children were babies. I know how hard it is to get things done when it's just you most days carrying the load. All of my kids went to daycare when they were toddlers for a couple of hours a couple of days a week so that I could get things done. I like you did it through a church and the cost was reasonable and when they were older for Preschool that was where they all went as well.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 11:59 amCory travels a lot, doesn't he? Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
I could understand utilizing daycare a few days a week if she was planning on getting some housework done or work on the podcast. But she dropped her off then said she was sad and had to do some retail therapy. Sophia isn't even a year old yet how hard could it be to shop with her.
She is going to have a rude awakening when she has a mobile toddler and a newborn. I am all for mothers getting a break and taking some time for themselves but Brittney is in a rush to have all of these babies yet ship them off to daycare before they are walking or talking?

Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
Oh wow she's dropping her off at daycare for a couple of days a month so that she can have a few hours to herself. Heaven forbid a SAHM takes some time to enjoy herself. It's good for Sophia to be around babies her own age and to socialize.
Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
Agreed ^
Also, going to daycare will help Sophia's immune system become stronger by being exposed to all the germs earlier. In turn making her sick more at this time but at that age, sickness really doesn't bother them.
Everyone needs a break, whether it be SAHM or working moms and if they can afford it, who cares? However, the way she responded was not appropriate.

Re: The Southern Fried Maple Leafs
I agree with others here that her response was very unprofessional, being a career woman and all . But jokes aside, very tacky Brittney! However I will have to give her credit for one thing, she correctly called it daycare! This calling it school business drives me insane! She's one! It's not school .

They forgot to edit out the nurse saying the babies name, it’s Lily.
