Calm down. Theres no need to feel threatened just because someone offered a different opinion. Yes there are tons of ways we can see Allyshia is holding him back, but not being potty trained before you are 3 isn't one of them. If anything, it waters down the argument.

No one here is defending Allyshia, but that doesn't mean we won't defend logic.

I was calm. I was pointing out that it's irrelevant to the conversation and possibly concerning because we're talking about a boy who has a nutcase for a mother, not the average parent with an average child.

That's like saying video games make children violent just because the high school shooters are largely video game obsessed.

You can't take average child facts out of the argument. It only distracts from it and is unnecessary when there are so many legit examples for how she's failing him.

I know some kids are late training, there's always exceptions.

I have been around a TON of kids who have all at least been day potty trained by 3.
Again I get not all kids are the same.

But in this case, I fully believe it's Ally holding him back more. Doesn't want her "baby" to grow up.

exactly she doesnt want yer gravy train to go off the tracks. she is using her son to collect a welfare chq every month. In bc once rhe youngest child turns 3 the parent is REQUIRED to work. they will remove her from welfare..although rumor has it she is trying to build a case for disability

The biochem program at UNBC is HARD. I took one introductory bio class while I was in undergrad and dropped it because I didn’t need it for my major and it was kicking my ass. There’s so much required class and lab time and studying. That... and she doesn’t believe in science so why would biochem even be a choice?

Because she convinced a naive counselor that she wanted to enter the medical field. I think she talks a good game.

Really though, she doesn't want to do anything. She will enter the program, accept any grants she's given, and then drop out. It won't last, and of course it won't be her fault.

I fit yummy food into 1200-1300 calories...she really just means her caffeinated drinks. If the kid wore more than a diaper all the time he probably wouldn't be sick

I actually REALLY hope this is the thing to stick and she is able to change her life around. Uni can actually do that to people, especially if they have low self esteem but see they actually are capable of achieving if they put in the work.

The poor girl is so LOST! She is just continually looking for something to define her and add meaning to her life but every time she gives up she loses more faith in herself.

She does have potential. She is very well spoken and engaging in her sit down videos and if she applies herself I do think she could turn her life around. The girl has an unassisted birth FFS! Even though I think its crazy you have to admit it takes some guts and determination.

It must be so frustrating constantly not living up to what you know you can be... And I actually do believe she truly wants it but deep down doesn't believe she can so when it gets tough she gives up and moves on to the next plan.

I am genuinely hoping and praying she takes it slow and sticks with this!
