I have a two-year-old, and we never give her the phone. But we do put cartoons on the tv in the living room.. She's never sitting and watching, she plays and just glances over.. We have been doing that for about 6months.. Does that cound as "screen time" as well?

As far as i studied this in school, it does not really count as screen time unless she is really watching it/ main focus on the TV. You could switch it up by putting on some songs instead or something where she has some music/sound but no screen

Actually i learned in nursing school passive screen time is considered in the time limits from the AAP. The reason is any time it's on, it's incredibly distracting for them. Even though they may not be watching it full focus, you will notice them glance over at the TV periodically and pause whatever they are doing. Basically it breaks the focus on the learning and play they are absorbed in. Music is different because there's no screen to distract. I will say though that not all babies and toddlers get distracted by the TV. Some don't notice or care yet.

It was hard for me, especially when my baby was little, to turn of the TV cuz we kept it on as background noise esp when I was alone all day with him. But I saw how much he preferred to watch it so eventually I would turn it off. It's hard to be perfect. I try to follow the recommendations ...I am proud cuz I haven't turned on the TV in 2 days in our house! But last week it was on literally the entire day cuz I didn't feel well :/ his dad is another story! When I work he leaves it on 24/7 which I hate so when I'm home I have a need to counteract the time he left it on lol.

Like I said there is no perfect. Aside from Keren who doesn't give a shit, the rest of us just do the best we can each day

Homeopathic medicine is unregulated and children can have adverse reactions to them just like they can with “traditional” medicines.
Someone here (Canada) actually got jailed when their child died of pneumonia or meningitis or something and they were treating them with herbal remedies instead of taking them to the hospital.

Won’t happen to Keren though. She loves giving them Ages 4+ medications to knock them out cold at the first drip of a runny nose.
“Cares about ingredients”....was recently shown forcing hotdog pieces, coffee, and hot fries into her toddlers mouths
