They were so surprised that Luna tried to herd the kids, and were gone on trips, kept her crated, away at trainers, or outside most of her puppyhood.

And the governor ordered people to stay home except for "essentials" . Going out to buy GOATS is not "essential". Way to be responsible, and wasn't he just talking about setting a good example a day or so ago??
What are they going to do when they do sell the house?

Only Bucks smell, I own plenty of goats, and sheep. The goat itself isnt stinky, when its either a female or a wether its usually an unkept bedding area that will smell.

My concern is where will the goat roam? They are browsers and need a fenced in area.

Itd be a good idea to fence in the whole unused front area of the property since its brush/weeds which goats LOVE and will maintain, or eat all of it. not sure whats poisonous there in cali though.

Ok, I will accept that. My only experience with actual goats is from petting zoos, and they did stink. Bad. As in, even after washing my hands, my hands still smelled.
If she got nannies, is she going to milk them? One of my good friends has nannies and she has to milk them twice a day every day. She does amazing things with their milk-- makes soap and lotion and cajeta. But I don't see Missy being responsible enough to milk them on schedule every day. She's a flake. And what are they going to do if they have to evacuate again? My friend had to evacuate during the Sonoma fires, and it was not essy. I guarantee that they have not thought about those things.

Ah!! Zoos, yes small enclosures WILL get stinky and need a lot of upkeep. I pet my goats daily and have never had my hand stink after.

Milking CAN be a pretty relaxed routine, you don't normally need to milk everyday, and can set the time to milk as not too early or just keep the kid with its mama overnight if you plan on skipping a day or two.

In a way it is nice, for someone who farms to see others wanting to. I hope it works out, and if she does milk, i hope she inspires others towards sustainability. yet this is just my whole hearted goal in life.

I feel like Missy will keep them for a couple months, then move them right along, aren't they planning on downsizing? California seems incredibly expensive with land, especially their area.

Yes, they were planning on downsizing. They're ridiculous. This was a total impulse buy.
Do they even have chickens still? And I am sure the comments are gushing over how cute the goats are, and how they are such amazing animal lovers.
Missy posted some BS on IG with a picture of the boys and the chickens saying how she loved teaching them to "love and care for all living things". Except snakes. And they treated Luna horribly when she was a puppy, and Draco's tank is too small, and as you said, she couldn't be bothered to collect eggs daily.
If she really wanted to be sustainable, she could vlog about it, and plant a vegetable garden too, and plant native, drought resistant plants in the yard. But she is too lazy.

1. What a waste of money and time. Who leaves the house to buy goats during a pandemic??? Nutcases.
2. They’re letting the goats run around inside? Ew. I like animals but I’m no “animal lover” like Missy. Those goats are going to make a mess and the kids are playing with them like they’re dogs. Something about that is really gross to me.
3. You’re supposed to stay out of contact with animals besides dogs and cats at this time. I’m not sure if you can contract a disease from a goat but I’m not taking chances.

I think what makes this worse is that this doesn’t seem like an adult decision. It feels like an impulse buy. I can’t think of an adult at this point in time going out and buying goats. It makes absolutely no sense. These people really have never grown up because they couldn’t do these things as kids. WHY do they need goats!?? Ugh.
