Some of that makes me very suspicious, especially the part where it says that Bonnie is extremely kind towards her kids and employees. Anyone here who has watched Bonnie's channel knows that is a damned lie. She yells at them & is thankful when they're in school so she doesn't have to deal with them for a few hours, doesn't feed them adequately, etc. and we also know how she treats Bri more like her personal servant than a nanny. She's also been caught at least once saying that she thinks Bri shouldn't be paid. She does things a good mother wouldn't do like revealing her 11-year old daughter's bra size publically or coercing Olivia into doing a "first time shaving legs" vlog. We saw the "blooper" vlog where Oliva told her mom she didn't want to the shaving vlog. And all of these so she'll have content for vlog views. Nevermind that there are creeps and pedos out there watching these vlogs, Bonnie. You don't deserve the title of "mother".Elah_w wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 6:55 pm
Sorry if this has been posted, but this girl on TikTok says she has worked for a company that has worked with Ruby and had this to say.
Here’s the actual TikTok link -
Hope that link works but there isn’t anything extra in the actual TikTok that can’t be seen from the screenshot.
Of course no way to verify if it’s true but I wouldn’t doubt any of it!

I’m actually shocked that no one who has worked with or even lived around one of the sisters has ever come out with the real dish on these freaks. They probably don’t know sites like this exist I’d guess. Like surely people from Shari’s school, any of their churches, or former employees have a lot to say but maybe they don’t realize how many of us are out here discussing it! I’ve seen someone claiming to be from Shari’s school in her YT comments, that’s probably the most likely source to speak out since they’re young and probably keep up with the family’s internet presence.
Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
funny timing that Ruby, Shari and "8 passengers kids" got tik tok within the past few days and lately a lot of tik tok users have been making tik toks about how they can't believe they used to watch them. Shari did a major- why is everyone mean to my family in 2020.... like hmmm she claims she is so smart yet she can't figure out why she gets hate.... maybe because people have brains and think their content is inappropriate and shouldn't be on the internet? (side note I can't wait for a video of someone doing WAP to show up on their for you page lol>

The ones claiming to be from Shari's schools make me suspicious because they claim she is nice and well liked, when Shari herself admits that she had problems getting along with people from the public schools in particular. If she eats lunch with her teachers at the new private school, I can't imagine she gets along with the kids there much better. The posters also never respond to additional comments or questions.imoverit wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 7:46 pm I’m actually shocked that no one who has worked with or even lived around one of the sisters has ever come out with the real dish on these freaks. Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
I know there are people on here that don't think Shari lies about reading a book a day (despite never being able to discuss the books), but in her last video she kept saying "boughten". Anyone in 2020 who has read hundreds of classic novels, historical biographies and law books, would not have 'boughten' in their vocabulary. Has anyone noticed if Kevin falls victim to the same Griffiths/Utah language quirks? I noticed he doesn't talk about "feeling" a pie and setting it on a window "seal" to cool like other Utah vloggers. I am starting to wonder if it might be an indication of socioeconomic class or education? Do we know about his childhood?
Also, I felt kind of bad for Shari when everyone said they were too busy to spend time with her, and then were shown lounging on the couch. It's no wonder she is always complaining that only Dwight likes her. I am still laughing about Shari noting the lack of conference snacks now that they don't need to bribe kids with candy to pay attention, then panning to a giant bag of Red Vines, which only Ruby eats. I guess they are still working on training Mom with treats. Funny that Eve needs m&m's to listen to Ruby read for 5 minutes, but can spend a whole day listening to a "prophet".

The other point about the TikTok post that makes me suspicious is that Bollie would have to be successful to bail put Ruby Do.
And Ruby had more views than Ellie and Bonnie combined for a while.
I don't buy a lot of the information in that except maybe that Chad was "violating the moral code of the church". A lot of normal teenage behaviors "violate" that code. Ruby was shipping him for views and then probably got upset that girls were DMing him. She is such a hypocrite.

After Chad returned from his "camp" is when I quit watching them. I thought maybe they sent him to be reprogrammed due to his teen behavior... maybe having to do with his sexuality because that's a huge nono in the Mormon church. Just ask Jared. Kevin & Ruby would have ran to their bishop for a freak out session.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 9:16 pm The other point about the TikTok post that makes me suspicious is that Bollie would have to be successful to bail put Ruby Do.

If Shari knows that there are creepy freaks out there posting pictures of her feet, why does she continue to show them on camera? After Shari says that, she zooms in on her own feet. At this point, its Ruby's and Shari's fault if they decide to intentionally release footage that they know other creeps can take advantage of. Whether that's of themself or ESPECIALLY the younger kids, it's their fault. They are BOTH idiotic and disgusting.

That hashtag ''eight passengers, six prisoners'' could be nice title for next thread

Agree! I always thought it was apt that they declared that they were "8 passengers", implying that there was no driver/captain/leader of the family.

He was probably caught masturbating. I find religious beliefs around sex so bizarre and interesting. Like kids are taught that sex and masturbating are wrong and sinful before marriage but then as soon as they’re married they’re expected to start popping out babies instantly. It must be difficult to feel natural sexual urges as a teenager but to taught that’s shameful and sinful and then to change that mindset when you’re married. **off topic**VaCar wrote:After Chad returned from his "camp" is when I quit watching them. I feel so bad for Chad. All of those kids have such a sad upbringing but chad is really treated awfully and the fact that ruby boasts and brags about it for millions to see makes me sick. Being a teenager is hard enough. Being the black sheep of the family is awful. Being treated like shit by your family and neglected or your basic human rights, such as a bed, is heartbreaking. And then to have your mother brag about it online for millions to see must be humiliating and degrading. I hope the second Chad turns 18 he runs and doesn’t look back, he deserves better.
And as much as ruby tries to portray him as this difficult, horrible teenager, he seems like a nice boy. He really does not seem like a bad kid at all. It just makes me sad for him.

That's exactly what I think he did. I was just hesitant to come out and say it. It's perfectly normal for a teenage boy. And others. I can't imagine sending my son off to a wilderness camp for that. Obviously it's just speculation, but the way Ruby talked about it, and the way she took away his doors and his bed make me pretty suspicious.staceymj wrote:He was probably caught masturbating. So, have they ever heard of easing a new driver into the responsibility--like take them on back roads and parking lots. Ruby explains about the roundabout, but failed to say the biggest things, "YIELD," there is a yield sign, Ruby. She makes no note of that, just saying you don't stop at a roundabout. Hopefully, Chad has enough common sense to stop when it is necessary.
Can we say distracted driver? Ruby can't shut her mouth for 2 seconds, gotta get that vlog content in. Chad is driving for the first time and needs focus on the road, not focusing on answers to give Ruby or conversation for the camera. Ruby has no common sense.

Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
It was so nice to see Chad happy and looking forward to things in that driving vlog! His permit, pool table, and clothes, and he was so happy in the car. He's the best. Ruby was predictably acting like a total idiot for the camera - from what I've seen of her on some of Shari's videos, Ruby acts especially idiotic for the camera (for her own vlogs, not Shari's) and is a little calmer outside of her own vlog. She's still awful though either way lol.
Oh yeah they're totally suspicious. I've seen some say negative things though or explain Chad's school/mormon camp problems in a way that sounded reasonable. I don't believe everything I see but I do think there must be some people from her school or past schools out there online talking about them.Kattiness Everdeen wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 7:55 pmThe ones claiming to be from Shari's schools make me suspicious because they claim she is nice and well liked, when Shari herself admits that she had problems getting along with people from the public schools in particular. Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
I remember Chad had mentioned wanting to join the military around the time he went to Anasazi. It's not for everyone, but something tells me he would thrive. I doubt he'd have issues with homesickness.
Ruby would probably blow a gasket. I am sure she can't understand the idea of putting an ideal before your own comfort. I just hope he doesn't get roped into doing a mission in the hopes of finally getting some approval from his cold bitch of a mom. Funny how when he was raking in the views with the Kesley Leroy "relationship", he was the golden boy. Noe he can do no right. And it still weirds me out that they can't "date" until they are 16, but they can have a boyfriend/girlfriend, especially if mom can exploit it for views. Shari dumped her boyfriend as soon as she turned 16. Harsh.
BTW, it's Kevin's birthday apparently. The great patriarch.

Ugh, I bet if Chad did join the military Ruby would brag to everyone about it as if it was her own accomplishment, and pretend she's so close with Chad even though he's trying to get away from her. I also hope he does not do a mission just to bother Ruby and Kevin, Chad doesn't need that nonsense crap. Wonder what Kevin is doing today to get away from his family.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 12:22 pm I remember Chad had mentioned wanting to join the military around the time he went to Anasazi. Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
I think Chad would do great in the military. Having set rules and consequences would be a breeze compared to Ruby's random narc control at home. Tease your brother? One year no bed! But only if you are Chad. It is cool for anybody else to pull a prank or bully their sibling. In the military, he would be provided with far more dependable food and shelter. The fact that it would piss Ruby off is just a bonus. Plus he could get money for college, and never be manipulated into the "family business" (vlogging).lmmomSD wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 12:22 pm I remember Chad had mentioned wanting to join the military around the time he went to Anasazi. Shari is a rule follower to a fault. Her school even requires that students date several different people once they turn 16, so she was going to dump the poor guy regardless. I agree that the Mormon dating standards are really bizarre (for vloggers at least). I am surprised there aren't more accidental teen pregnancies when kids are so aggressively encouraged to date, with the expectation that they have no sexual experiences until age 18, at which point they are supposed to be married and pregnant. Is Sarah Tanner the only one who admits to a teen pregnancy out of wedlock? I find the fact that STD rates continue to climb in Utah when the majority of the population claims to have had only one sexual partner their entire life pretty telling. Either there is a huge problem with sex crimes, or people are lying to their bishops.

Re: 8 Passengers: No beds, no food, but mom loves motherhood! | Part 18
That's an excellent point about the food and shelter in the military. I had actually thought it, but you articulated it perfectly. Knowing exactly when he is going to eat and that he'll get enough, and knowing his bed won't get taken away, and having consistent rules would be a revelation for him. He's already used to no privacy. Run Chad! The Army and Marines will take good care of you! Or the Air Force. My family is big-time Navy, but they're all officers, so I can't recommend enlisting. My son joined the National Guard and has his college paid for. He got a bad stress fracture during medic training (they go to boot camp and MOS training with Army recruits) so he got a medical discharge, but they gave him a fat separation bonus, the VA is treating his leg (and doing a good job), and he has his GI Bill. Chad could blow Ruby off, have someplace to go, and get college covered. She _says_ she's booting them all when they turn 18 anyway, right?
I don't understand how anyone can look up to her or any of her sisters as an example of good parenting, or why anyone would possibly be interested in a parenting book written by her. I look at the whole family more as examples of what NOT to do. One person actually commented on an IG post of Bonnie's that when she doesn't know what to do as a parent, she thinks "What would Bonnie do?" It took all my restraint not to comment back "And do the opposite".

Ugh that’s so sad to me, I really hope Chad finds a future he wants to pursue and doesn’t end up in the military as his only chance for structure and to get away from his family. If that’s his ambition then fine, but I hate when the military is a last resort for people, there should be better options than that for desperate people who don’t want that. He loves sports and wants to be an athlete so I hope he will have a lot of options for college through that and can move farther away if he likes (I resent people going to college just for athletics but whatever, I want Chad out!).
