Her first BAD tip - buying stuff for your kids is okay. If you need to save money, you cut out non-essentials, even for your kids. They don't need 500 pairs of shoes.

Semi-annual sales usually end up with people spending more than they plan to, because all of those really cheap items add up, and they're usually things you wouldn't have bought in the first place. I went to the Bath & Body Works 75% off sale last week, and even though a bunch of things were as low as $3.00 for a bottle of lotion, there was nothing that I REALLY wanted. So I just ended up buying a pair of $4.00 socks. If I had allowed myself to buy a bunch of little things I didn't really want, but just bought because they were cheap, I probably would have spent $50.00.

BAD tip - rip up the receipt after you buy it. That doesn't change the fact that the money has come out of your bank account. And it's not a money-saving tip, it's a mommy-pampering tip.

In this video @ 2:17, please just listen to "semi Annual sale right now" over and over and over lol

Lmfao!!! Wtf is she saying !!!

I couldn't even pay attention to anything she said. I was too distracted by her messing with her stringy hair every two seconds.

I haven't watched a Lindsey video for a long time and, whilst I don't really like to enter into the debate of who Andrew looks like, I must say he does look like Alex.

He has that same dopey eyed, dumb as shit look to him. Sorry to all who were rooting for Jared to be the father, I don't think he is. Jared at least looks like he knows whether its day or night. Alex and Andrew....not so much.

Dopey eye, dumb as shit look? He's a baby. I'm not even arguing Alex's paternity right now but how is that right to say that about a baby? This thread is to talk about Lindsey, not bash her kids...it wasn't even constructive.

Sorry, it's my opinion. :? No problem if you don't agree.

Lol, I wasn't aware that only constructive comments could be made in here. This site would be lucky to go through 5 comments a day if that was the case. Gasp, the horror!

How ground breaking... "how to save money".. don't get your nails and toes done every week.
It shows that she was spoiled growing up..no one would dare say online, to random people: cut back extravagant stuff, and sell extra stuff you have lying. Sure, decluttering makes money, but it's a one time thing.

Usually, people out of a job with 2 kids to support don't even dream about getting brands. Pampers? Instead of cheap ones? Even with a discount they are more pricey. No one gives you anything exactly for free. There's always THEIR best interest behind it. Victoria's Secret? American Eagle? Is she serious? :?

The truth is, she doesn't need to save, she doesn't want too many people realizing that others are paying for her stuff, so she is acting like she is a pro money-saver.

I only have one tip, if something is not worth exchanging a big cut note ( 50 bucks maybe ), then don't buy it.
Once you exchange the 50... it's like you're losing the rest left and right buying useless things.
Or maybe it's just me.

So it's okay to say a child has a dopey eyed dumb shit look (comments about a baby's appearance) its not okay to call a child a dog? I don't think either is acceptable, I just think it works both ways. Opinion or not, it was rude.

HAHAHAHAH Andrew is such an unattractive baby. I thought I was the only who thought he had a dumb founded look on his face.

Her new Andrew update video is 25% Andrew, 25% Alex's National Guard stuff, and 50% how it effects poor little Lindsey and how hard her life is going to be. Her immaturity really grates on my nerves.

I hadn't watched her vids in a good long bit, but I have seen the money saving one and the Andrew update this week. Both were vapid and pointless, and just a lot of hair flipping and admiring herself in the viewfinder. If I wasn't sick, I would probably be doing something better with my time......

I'm not sure I want to watch the video on his NG update. He will most likely NEVER be deployed, and he will work 2 days a month.

He will attend basic for about 10 weeks and then probably go to an A school for training, or a tech school. After that, it's almost a normal civilian life. After those 10 weeks and training, he won't be missing many birthdays or holidays unless the Guard decides they need him, and they don't need anyone in reserves or Guard right now-- the demand isn't high right now.

He may be deployed once in his enlistment, or twice at most. Depending on his job, his demand may fluctuate, but this is no where comparable to enlisted active.

Dear lord I must write this again. I understand your husband is active duty but seriously this is such new territory. I don't know if you were there when your husband was new to the military but the unknown of basic and signing a contract in general is a nerve wracking experience. Just because he's not active doesn't mean he won't be deployed even if you think he won't. I have many friends who have dealt with more than one deployment when their significant others were not active.

Do I think she should be given a leeway because she chose to have two kids? No. But I don't think she should be looked as annoying or doesn't get the right to feel these emotions before he leaves.

And it's so annoying to see posts written by active military on how it's sooooooo much harder. We get it. It's a full time job where you're told where to go. Congrats. Everyone is signing a contract to put your life in the military's hands.

To each their own, but no one is singing a "woe is me" tune. I think people would just like to clear up that Alex going into the NG is not a lot like Lindsey is making it out to be. He won't miss that many holidays or birthdays, lol.

You clearly didn't read my whole thing, or at least your biases didn't allow you to see that I said he would be deployed once maybe twice. I was even defending Lindsey in an earlier post saying that it is going to be hard during basic and AIT/training, but that he would also need to get another job because there are no benefits in NG.

Go back and read my comments, as I stated in an earlier post that I get annoyed by military wives/fiancees/gf's that harp on women who are upset by their husbands leaving for business trips and that everyone deals with things differently. Lol. Calm down.

I, as an American was more open minded than quite a few of the Europeans and I'm not even liberal. I thoroughly enjoyed people staring me down because I was from America.

Anyway, I have to say its rude people are acting so high and mighty on Alex joining the NL. I don't give a crap how long he's gone for, people have got to STOP comparing lengths. I have been in a military relationship and I never once said no one had the right to complain of not seeing the SO. He's her sons father so whether he's gone for a week, or a year, that's time Andrew doesn't get back with him, or even Lindsey for that matter.

I do think she's going to get a rude awakening, but I'll be damned if anyone tries to say her missing him after he's been gone a week is pathetic or wrong. You don't know until you've been in that situation. Some people might not see their SO for two whole years, would you want them to get mad at you for missing yours for a year??
Actually, there are military spouse/gf/fiance pages on facebook that constantly post ecards of a military wife complaining because their coworker is upset about not seeing their husband while on a business trip.

While I understand the need to compare, (well, not completely), I tend to think that those of us with husbands in the military (or boyfriends...what have you) have just adapted to a special way of life and handle things with strides for the most part.

My only thing against Lindsey is that it isn't a job that will bring in money, and he won't be gone hardly at all.

Oh, wait. This one?!? God forbid that I might have been supportive of any type of person missing their loved one. Sheesh.
