l she got pregnant with FRATERNAL twins while on birth control. birth control stops ovulation (the release of an egg). fraternal twins means they are 2 separate, fertilized eggs. jess would've had to ovulate TWICE in one month in oder to conceive the twins. considering the chances of her ovulation just once is barely 1% (assuming she used her birth control properly) the odds of ovulating twice while on birth control is near impossible. my point is, there is NO WAY she was on birth control and conceived fraternal twins. idk about fertility drugs but birth control was definitely NOT involved./quote]

Actually, birth control increases your risk of hyper ovulation, especially if you don't take it properly or right after quitting. It is because after stopping the hormones or not taking them properly your body is trying to figure out how to ovulate again, so sometimes it gets "confused" and releases two eggs.

And her knowing it was fraternal twins does not mean she purposely tried to have twins, it is just way more common to have fraternal twins. I would assume the same thing.

Exactly, there's no way she was properly taking her birthcontrol or she just came off of it because getting pregnant with fraternal twins while taking it perfectly is basically impossible. Also, I don't think she planned twins.. It's kida hard to plan twins, they just kinda happen or don't (of course there are special circumstances where they may be anticipated or something, but idt that was her case). I doubt she thought messing with her birthcontrol would mean twins, but I'm sure she knew taking it wrong/shortly after stopping it would make it easier to get pregnant and planned the pregnancy accordingly. She definitely wasn't using birth control to prevent pregnancy.

And in her ultrasound where she found out she is having twins.. Her expression was like she was trying so hard to look surprised and even before the tech mentioned , she jumped in and said it is fraternal. Duh, obviously she knew because she was on fertility meds (atleast from what I have read ). Or how is it even possible to have fraternal twins with no fertility meds and no family history ever?? Is it possible ? May be medstudent can fill me on this.

Sure it is, your body develops lots of potential eggs and usually only one is released during ovulation, I'm not sure how fertility drugs work but I assume they increase the number of potential eggs you develop and therefore your chances of having a multiple pregnancy would increase as well?

You are born with all the eggs you will ever produce

They're not fully developed eggs though. You have hormones that start to mature some of the potential eggs in your ovaries and because the hormones in your body that develop them decrease over the menstrual cycle usually only one is matured enough to be released and the rest degenerate. So what I'm saying is I assume that more potential eggs are developed with fertility drugs?

Okay, so i decided to go back to the beginning, her very first and u can already see the signs that she is clearly into herself, but here it what i also saw. #1 how can a 17 year old be that excited, i would have been mortified. #2 this seems like an inside job, like how is a parent that completely thrilled that their 17 year old daughter is pregnant and already start to make a nursary and already got her to the doctors ext.... There is something behind this. #3 to already find out at 3 weeks at 17 is defiantly unlikely unless you were already planning. #4 mentioning she knows friends who started to make these volgs and been looking at teen age pregnancies volgs for awhile now!!!! This is what think, either she was part of a pregnancy pack at school, or mimi wanted her teenage daughter to get pregnant and plotted it, cause that parent is just to happy its all like YAY!!! SHE IS PREGNANT FINALLY!!!! Weird as a mom if my son or daughter ever came home at 17 pregnant or got someone pregnant i would to the roof mad and talk about other choices before i made any room in my house. Do we not see something fishy??

I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks and I was definitely not trying for a baby at 16. I'm 17 now with my own house with my boyfriend of three years who works full time, our bub is 3 months. We're totally independent, though, unlike Jessica who always needs SOMEONE. My mother was numb when I told her. Supportive, but numb. No where near as excited as Wendy seemed to be.. It's possible Jessica didn't know/wasn't trying, unlikely, but possible. I wouldn't put it past her though, it all just seems so plotted.

Exactly plotted, and 4 weeks is normal cause that is when you miss ur period, but her's was defiantly plotted and personally i think by her mom. I think her mum just accepted it and thought you know shit happens and decided to be supportive, her and Gabe been together for years, had a licence and a car, was teetering the edge of being a independant adult. If you look at Wendy's face and mannerisms when Jessica told her she was pregnant with the boys, you can see she was extremely disappointed and not happy at all.

Never mind - I saw you addressed the car seat thing. And from my understanding, I believe the straps are supposed to not be past the first slot above the shoulders in FF. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought any higher and it increases risk of ejection from the seat.

I'm more so annoyed with the fact the DITL video showed how she tries to put out this personna of something that she just isn't 50% of the time. Thats what I cannot stand about these YT moms. Half of them are just fake and put out this personna of something they want to appear to be when in reality they're just not. I know me personally, I would rather watch a mom who is real and down to earth and not editing constantly. Half the time it seems like every couple sentences and there's an edit on Jess's videos. When I got pregnant for the first time my mom freaked out. I was 18, in my own apartment, living with my boyfriend of 4 years and had a job. She started talking about abortion and adoption and how hard it was going to be. In the end we ended up needing to do a d&c because I lost the baby and she talked about how it was a blessing in disguise. When I got pregnant again a year later she again talked about abortion and how just because I was a year older didn't mean it was going to be easier. she was not happy then and incredibly worried. Exactly... I know the breastfeeding debate is really tired at this point. But that video was actually obscene. She really doesn't care that it makes some people uncomfortable. How the hell would you know so early unless you have been testing before missing periods?
