I think everyone's point is that it doesn't matter if she lied. She might be right on the border and is just calling it SC. It really isn't a big deal as to where she moved to, just that she moved you know?

She is purposely leading people to believe that she lives in SC. It doesn't matter if she lives in NC or SC. I just can't for the life of me understand why it matters so much to HER. It's not "right" on the border. It's close, but it is in Charlotte.
I don't understand the purpose of lying either, she could at least clarify if things fell through while she was planning the move.
If the only white lie Vanessa ever told was that she was living in SC when in reality she's on the border of NC, I wouldn't think it was a big deal. But she has told a laundry list of white lies over the years in an attempt to keep up appearances. It's getting old. Vanessa has accomplished a lot in the last year, and I think she has a lot to be proud of. She doesn't need to tell these white lies to get her viewers to like her, all it does is make her less likable.
I don't care where she lives, and regardless, it should never be shown on here. However, I'm also not going to trust a few people saying they "know" what complex it is. They might be totally wrong. She hasn't as yet shown enough for anyone to be sure of anything. There might be 2 complexes built by the same company with the same floorplans. It happens all the time. Maybe she will reveal more down the line, maybe accidentally, maybe on purpose. But until everyone knows for sure, then IMO she's not lying. There's no proof. Also, since she wasn't taking full time college, why couldn't she just take classes at a different college in SC? Seems plausible.

I could care less where she lives,I just don't understand the lies.
My daughter had a strong allergic reaction to amoxicillin, thank god it was NOT an anaphylaxis reaction, however the hives were severe. Like swollen, bruising hives.. Hives are horrifying. Anyways, on to my advice, honestly passed on with good intentions. My daughter wasn't reacting to Benadryl as her doctor or I had hoped. Sounds similar to Lily's reaction to Benadryl. Our Ped. had us switch to Aerius. She reacted so much better aerius!

IF she's lying about where she lives it's probably to throw people off because she doesn't want anyone to know where she lives. I don't think it's to keep up appearances because SC is somehow better.

Fort mill SC IS better than the crap town she WAS living in. Just about anywhere is better- including the new area she just moved to in NC.
So she opened a lid for Benny to drink water, turned on her camera, recorded Benny drinking - all in the span of waiting for the traffic light to turn green in the middle of the road. I never really commented on her excessive filming while driving but it's getting insane that she has to go through these extents just to record something IN THE MIDDLE of traffic. I know she was at a complete stop but when your hands are full (holding the cup and the camera in this case) and your mind is looking at something else and your train of thought isn't towards the road then that shit scares me. I give her a slap on the wrist for that. I thought she was still in the parking lot but then she said "okay green light" I was like why the heck is she doing all that while waiting for the light. This is how you get honked at and once you get startled like that, especially with your hands full- can cause ruckus or a bad move. I can just imagine what had happened after if she dropped either the water or her camera. Don't do that again V!! Damn

I live in NC and when I was going over to SC it was kind of impossible to not notice that the exterior of one of the apartments looked liked hers. Looked it up yep it's hers. Oh Vanessa I understand that you may have lied to protect Lily but I don't understand why you need to keep on keeping it up. Like at the peach farm place or in that new video when you were going home from the doctors?? You don't need to keep pointing it out that kinda makes it obvious! Just don't reply, make a comment or say anything

I don't care where she lives, but if she's lying I HIGHLY doubt it's to protect Lily. If she is lying I would assume it's a status issue. She went on and on about how one state was better suited for them than the other and how it was their goal.. Bleh. Maybe things fell through, maybe there was a change in plan, whatever it's no one's business. However it's the CONSTANT LYING that's so humorous. So she's really matured so much lately that she's pulling the same shit she did when she moved a couple of doors down from her mom! Sounds so mature! (*Again, if she's lying!)
If it's okay for Vanessa to lie (and keep it up, thus lying constantly) for "protection" Can you not see why other YT'ers freak out over address leaks (And I'm not only referencing B&B) or is only OKAY for Vanessa?
I am kind of bummed about a few things with her lately. The NC/SC thing-- I agree with the people who have said it's more about the pointless fibbing (if she's in NC still.) I'm bummed she built school up to be this grand plan, taking four courses, blah, blah. Now it's unclear as to what she's actually taking, if anything. I don't see how all the vacations are going to fit in with college-level courses. The whole thing reminds me of a) like Snow White said, when she moved within the same apartment complex as her mom and b) when she couldn't keep her story straight about her driver's license. Good lord, was that ever a saga.
I'm proud of her for following through with getting her license, moving out of her mom's, building a life with David, getting a job. I'm just getting the feeling she's slipping back into her old ways. Boo hiss.
I'm gonna give Vanessa a chance and say she's probably still in school. Maybe she is taking fewer classes this semester. Or maybe it's just boring to talk about. Some classes really are boring AF and are not interesting to discuss. In addition to that, I can admit to taking about my classes nonstop when I first started college last year. It's all I talked about because it was a new experience and I was proud of myself. One year later, I barely talk about it. Not because I am no longer invested, but because it's become part of my everyday life now. It's no longer new and exciting. Just stressful lol This could be why V is not really talking on the matter.
About the NC/SC thing... I don't understand why she would lie (IF she is). If anything, don't tell your viewers where you moved at all. Don't mention the area and things like that. I prefer her to not say anything than to lie because then people will begin to doubt her credibility again.
She should talk about school. She's an online figure who has a lot to prove as a young mom. Being motivated in school is a thumbs up but doesn't even seem like a priority to her. I think the problem with Vanessa is that she likes to say too much. Coupons, yoga, juicing, school. All this isn't her but she will do anything to look presentable to her videos. I remember in a video she mentioned some (3) classes she signed up for that had nothing to do with business. She's probably taking classes just to say she's taking it but absolutely hates it. School takes a lot of time but she doesn't show or talk about it at all. I can totally see her say "I've been so busy with school I just stayed home studying all day!" If she really is mentally in school. I know it's "boring" but when you're filming so frequently, it should be something worth mentioning.
Maybe she'll show more once she starts her business classes. So far she's just been doing gen eds I think, nothing specific since she just decided what she wants to major in. Who knows though. I don't think she is there mentally, like you said. I think maybe she sees this as the long process it's going to be, and that she's just at the beginning.

I really hope she does well! School is a lot, but it can help her a lot career wise. Not only will it look good to the girls who love her, but I'm sure Lily will have a lot of respect for her for it down the road
