Ahh, sounds like they definitely got the Harmony test or something then. Did they have that with MG? Especially with their 2 previous losses, and one having Trisomy.littlebaby wrote:I think they said they'd officially know two weeks after whenever the appointment they just had was.Luna Lovegood wrote:Does anyone knows when the gender reveal will be done?? Omg yes!! And when she puckered up to do what fishes do I about died! She's so tiny, but she's not intimidated walking around anywhere, even the airport, which I find striking. I guess she just knows mommy and daddy have her back so she's unafraid.

Showing that car accident didn't sit well with me. I think mentioning it would have been okay, like "we passed a pretty bad accident and are sending prayers". But showing it seems a bit thoughtless.

I thought so too. There was no need to get video of it.

Re: Cullen and Katie: New Year, New Baby Part 3
Their dogs are so sweet natured and tolerant but i cringed at MG rolling all over them. I'll admit that i have allowed the same when my kids were younger and i know thats a dangerous thing to do. They could snap at her if she pushed their buttons or hurt them accidentally. Two personal stories (sorry) but my daughter was attacked by our cat when she was 3 and wound up having to have 4 stitches in her lip and behind her ear. She picked up the ornery old tom cat when we weren't looking, that we had warned her a million times not to pick up. We knew for 100% fact it was my daughters fault and not the cat's and we did not put the cat to sleep or rehome the cat. We had another incident with my niece. My sister had the world's most patient dog, and when my niece was 9 months old the dog was sleeping and she crawled over and flopped down on the dog. The dog was startled awake and spun around and had my niece's arm/shoulder in his mouth so quickly. Thank god he realized and didn't hurt her and released her without incident, but they disciplined the child and not the dog in that situation. My point is that while i hope and pray nothing like that ever happens to MG (or any other child for that matter) i do hope that C&K are the kids of animal owners that would take the situation in consideration and not just immediately put the animal down or take it to the pound...

I can't imagine Cullen o Katie ever putting down one of their cats or dogs in the situations you described. Those animals were their babies for years and years before MG came in the picture. They need to be a bit more vigilant, but I'd not worry that they would react drastically if MG provoked on of their animals.

I hope this is the case with them. I can't imagine it either. Hopefully we never have to find out..Whatshesaid_2015 wrote:I can't imagine Cullen o Katie ever putting down one of their cats or dogs in the situations you described. Re: Cullen and Katie: New Year, New Baby Part 3
Grandoc and Grandolly seem like such awesome grandparents to me. They have little Valentine's Day celebrations and Grandolly is always getting her grandkids gifts for the holidays, even if it's not a "big" holiday. I also love that she has little tea parties with Emily, I can't wait to see MG do that too.
& with the whole dog/MG debate, I do agree that a dog could snap one day and she'd get hurt. No matter how lovable and patient a dog is, you accidentally hurt them and they will react. However, I'm glad Cullen&Katie instill in MG that she has to be gentle/soft with the animals. Bryan and Missy practically let Oliver terrorize poor Karma and laugh it off.

Personal story:
My mum's best friend and her husband TTC for the better part of 10 years, and they had a little dog, Ben, that they idolised! He was literally their baby - he even had "pyjamas", would be fed steak, went for sleepovers to his grandmas and was just as spoiled there too. Anyway, they finally conceived and all was okay for a couple of years. They were sure to teach their daughter boundaries and to respect her "big brother, Benny". Ben was always very jealous and high strung, never having been around children prior to that. He started nipping his toddler sister, which they then consulted trainers and vets how to avoid anything like that in the future. Didn't work. One day Ben snapped and bit his toddler sister's face and her lip in half. They made the heartbreaking decision had to put Ben to sleep. That was not an option they took lightly and even now, 10 years later they still speak of him and have photos of him around their home. What happened destroyed them.

Re: Cullen and Katie: New Year, New Baby Part 3
That's true. I would hope not. But you never know. MG is their miracle baby. But I can agree that by saying the dog would be put down I was jumping to conclusions. So I will amend it to just say that they need to teach her that the dogs aren't pillows and to be gentle and respectful.Whatshesaid_2015 wrote:I can't imagine Cullen o Katie ever putting down one of their cats or dogs in the situations you described. That's awful. Bad for everyone. That's why saying "oh, they love their dogs, they'd never do that" is naive. Don't want to drag out the thread over it. I do agree absolutely that they do teach her better than B&M-- but that's no surprise!actuallydear wrote:I, too, hope we will never have to find out.Playsinrain wrote:I hope this is the case with them. I think it's so cute that Cullen is in Katie's pregnancy updates.

I was surprised to see that Katie is showing as much as she is in her 14 week update! She looks great.
Baggy clothes definitely aren't flattering for her. They make her look a lot bigger than she really is, and she was wearing them pre-pregnancy too.

I just creeped her IG why does she have a baby registry link in the description? I clicked on it and it just goes the baby registry search page.

I actually noticed that today, too! I haven't been on her actual page in a long time so not sure when it popped up but I'm assuming it's just a sponsored link that Babies R Us pays her to keep in her profile. I can't really picture them registering for anything anyway since it's their second baby and that's not very common...especially for people that have the means to buy anything they need for the second kid on their own.gymchick43 wrote:I just creeped her IG why does she have a baby registry link in the description? Katie is showing a good amount but it's baby #2 and all of my friends on their second kid seemed to pop REALLY quickly!
I wish she would do weekly updates or at least once every two weeks. I just really like her and her personality, she reminds me a lot of my childhood BFF and her relationship with Cullen is great, they seem to truly enjoy just being around one another which is more than I can say for a lot of YouTube couples!
Re: Cullen and Katie: New Year, New Baby Part 3
I know when I watch the two interact with each other I realize that E+J and b+M never laugh and look at each other that genuinely. Also reminds me to remember to appreciate my husband's humour, when you get used to a persons jokes you don't laugh and appreciate it as much- but Katie and Cullen act like they are still in the honey moon stage without even trying.formerctfxcer wrote:I actually noticed that today, too!
