Having said that, I've had some terrible GPs, but that was less about attitude and more about them making decisions that were actually detrimental to my health

I'm just curious. Has Mess ever acknowledged this site? I'm surprised she hasn't made a video, at least that I've seen, about it. Maybe she just doesn't want to put it out there for people who don't already know about it to join? Thoughts?

She has mentioned it in comments before, particularly to Vanessa (2011teenagemom) when she did a video about this site. "Oh they hate me too" lol

Some doctors really are dicks though. Being in the medical profession is more than just being book smart. It also requires some level of compassion which I think some doctors just don't have. It's the same thing with professors in a college. They might be brilliant people but some of them are not cut out to actually teach. In this case I think it was bitchy for the doctor to sigh and eye roll jess but I wouldn't even call that the worst experience ever. lol she's so dramatic. I'm sure people eye roll her all day long when they see her flock of kids.

Also, I don't think jess is fat really, just a little out of shape. I probably weigh the same as she does but I'm taller and I carry my weight in my butt and thighs (a blessing and a curse), and I'm a little pudgy. Anyways, my point is I wish she would wear looser fitting clothes. Her shirts always look so tight like she's going to burst out of them. She just straight up looks uncomfortable and a little sloppy sometimes. Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but I like the way Britney dresses. She always looks comfy and her clothes seem to fit nicely for her body shape. And sometimes I just want to put jess hair up in a bun. Idk why but it annoys me lol I guess because I hate having my own hair down. She seriously needs a wardrobe intervention. If that show 'what not to wear' was still on, I'd nominate her for it.

^^ exactly. I just had to take my son to a developmental pediatrician consult and for the particular practice I went to there is a Facebook group. I asked for advice on the doctor we were referred to and half the responses said "thank goodness you didn't get Dr. A, he called my kid this," really bad stuff to read that made me wonder why this doctor is still employed...

To be honest, yes, some medical professionals can be a little rude sometimes but think about what this doctor must see in Jessica's medical history:

5 kids by 3 different men
Not really any recorded use of birth control
Retained placenta
Home births
Delayed vaccines
Natural births
Not to mention the other kids actual medical records/history which we don't fully know, including one child that may possibly be tested for being on the autism spectrum but has had no apparent treatment for this

I mean, to be honest, it paints a very specific picture of the kind of person they might be dealing with: someone that clearly wants to go the "natural" route to everything and wants as little to do with medicine and doctors as possible. I'm sure, especially in this day and age, doctors are seeing more and more of these kinds of moms, and nine times out of ten, their kids end of really ill or in a position that could have been avoided with medical intervention. So, to be honest, while judging isn't nice, I totally get why the doctor would assume she's that kind of mom... because she kind of is.

Anyway back to my lurking hole.

And take in to account that she's filming this nurse. That must immediately leave a bad taste in the mouth. If I were a nurse, and I saw this specific type of woman come in, and then start filming me, my first thought, honestly would be "oh great she thinks she has to film me because I'm going to injure or abuse her kid or something ridiculous like that." But maybe that would just be me.

If Jess has another baby I hope she follows her doctor's advice and gives birth in a hospital if needed, and if not gets a midwife for a home birth. Luckily Jess doesn't seem so against medical professionals that she'll have an unassisted birth.

She takes her kids in to be seen when they're sick or injured, when else is she supposed to take them? I wouldn't class her as someone who treats her kids health naturally, she gives them no quality nutrition and never talks about supplements and healthy living. She's just a drama whore and an attention seeker and wants to birth at home where she controls everything, that's nothing to do with being healthy. People who delay vax for health reasons do so because they understand how the immune system works and antibodies (BF and gut bacteria), good hygeine, low stress environment, fresh air and exercise and top quality nutrition is essential. Jess does very little to keep her kids healthy and has no understanding behind her choices, or if she does she certainly doesn't share it nor does she follow up with her lifestyle choices.

Maybe she got the side eye because she left her baby face down in a bunch of blankets unsupervised and nearly killed her. That kid is a normal size on the same percentile as birth and meeting milestones at the same time as any other baby if not on the slightly later end of normal, Jessss is just deluded and wants a special snowflake to make herself feel better about her shitty mess of a life.

Filming the whole thing and baby talking her kids like an idiot will give a poor impression.

Why do all yt-ers have terrible experiences with doctors? I haven't heard one appreciating or thanking them. It's their job to have opinions/advices cause thats their field of expertise! I would be concerned if my doctor wasn't lecturing/telling me what to do. I'd rather have a doctor who guides rather than "it's your life do whatever the heck you want" attitude. There are arrogant doctors out there but generalizing the whole profession is not right.

I think it's so disgusting that she bashes them like that. She tried minimizing what the doctor who removed her retained placenta did, because she thought if she would have just waited longer for her uterus to contract the midwives could have removed it. Like what makes her think she knows better than a doctor when it comes to something like that?

Well that just goes to show how full of shit Jessica is. If she was so sure the midwives could have removed the placenta, why did she go to the hospital? She's that classic type of person who badmouths doctors and discredits them until she needs them, then she gets help from them and then she goes back to bashing them. I've asked(politely) plenty anti vaxxers/naturopath meds only parents if they were willing to sign a document stating that should their child get tetanos or meningitis or whatever else, they are not to be offered any medical assistanc(be it antitoxin, emergency vaccine, antibiotic). No one ever wants to answer because other than truly commited parents(like Ezekiel Stephan's parents who kept the kid with meningitis at home until he died), most of these people change their minds and seek medical assistance when shit gets real.

Ezekiel Stephan did not die because of meningitis, that is false information being spread around.
