Exactly! I take care of a just-turned 1 year old (in addition to my own 2 year old) several day a week, and that's the phase he is in right now. Everything has to be touched, taken apart, and thrown. He's like a tiny tornado destroying everything in his path! Sometimes I'm truly tempted to tie his hands behind his back.Harkette wrote:Those girls are too old for that behavior. The girls should be well past that stage by now and understand that they are not allowed to just grab anything they want. My parents are antique collectors and they never even have to put anything away when my daughter and her 2 year old cousin visit them. In fact, they didn't even destroy things when they were 16 to 18 months either. My nephew used to go around showing my daughter things she wasn't supposed to touch, pointing at them and saying "no no". That's what happens when you TEACH your children respect.
The problem is that the Greedners think that because they have FOUR two year olds, rules don't apply to them.
Sorry assholes, but simply having a bunch of toddlers is not an excuse for terrible behavior.
They seem to just throw up their arms like "well what are we supposed to do?".
Um, you're supposed to actually PARENT your kids you greedy losers!
