UCA Day 1 Scores (so far)
Only day 1 scores are up and only for some teams but surprise surprise, EV’s team is in last place with an 86 on day 1… ouch. That’s a very low score… If they’d only gotten low scores like that once, we could chalk it up to a bad day, but they’re getting consistently low scores so…. I don’t know when Ken they’ll finally realize that they’re just not top level athletes…
Brin’s scores for Day 1 aren’t available
EV’s division:
Kap’s division:
And look at that… the beloved nationally known Lady Canes are in last place.I didn’t realize they were competing against Cheer Extreme Crush. That team is AMAZING. LC may move up today but I don’t think they have any chance of beating CEA Crush. LC’s score is pretty dang low too….

Re: It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying
Nobody really competed at CHEERSPORT so really CHEERSPORT wasn’t that big or had big names. A lot of teams instead went to NCA the following weekend… World Cup, Cheer Extreme, etc. I see both teams there now at UCA so competition is tough.
And the 2nd place team in front of Evie’s team with a high score are from Puerto Rico. I would love to see their routine!!

Actually it doesn’t look like a lot of gyms/teams came to UCA. Sad that Flip City still couldn’t rank. I still don’t see the wow factor from this gym. The way Kenny described it with banners and trophys?!!

Re: It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying
Kenny kept saying cheersport was bigger than Summit; it may be bigger in terms of the number of athletes but Summit is the most prestigious of all from what I know with NCA coming in second. They don’t have the wow factor. Like you said, the big names were mostly at NCA. I did see a couple big gyms at cheersport like Cheer Extreme and Stingrays and a few at UCA too but I think there was way more at NCA which is why FC didn’t go, because they didn’t have a chance. They’re going to be blown out of the water at Summit because the best of the best go and FC has nothing on them…Kitkat1023 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:55 pm Actually it doesn’t look like a lot of gyms/teams came to UCA. I have a theory on the banners and trophies, I think that a lot of them were won by teams in tiny divisions or only competing against themselves. If you only go to comps where you’re the only team or competing against one other, it’s easy to collect all the banners and trophies! It appears to me they weren’t really earned, just given. I mean, EV’s team won a first and banner but only competed against themselves and their scores are so freaking low that they can’t beat anyone. 85 is very low for such a, according to Kenny, great gym.
I didn’t see the team from Puerto Rico! So cool!!! I’m going to try and find their routine and, if I do, I’ll share it with you!

Re: UCA Day 1 Scores (so far)
For those who have never heard of/seen CEA Crush who are first in the division with Lady Canes, they’re AMAZING. They were un seperately divisons at cheersport but together ag UCA. Won summit many times (including last year!) and has a lot of athletes that cross over from their amazing worlds teams. If you watch the video, the first flyer they zoom into during the first stunt (around 0:57), Brooklyn, is a kickass flyer and tumbler. She does it all. On senior elite, the world team she’s on, she does a pass that ends with a double whip double. She is super talented and is going to be the next generation of top level cheerleaders. Mind you this is only her first year eligible for worlds! She’s only 13 or 14. Okay rant over lol but watch the video, it’s not a perfect routine, they made a few mistakes, but you’ll be impressed I promise!AlohaPineapple wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:30 pm Only day 1 scores are up and only for some teams but surprise surprise, EV’s team is in last place with an 86 on day 1… ouch. Re: UCA Day 1 Scores (so far)
If Kendal wants evie to perform better at cheer she need to stop being a wet bag of pushover and force her ass to stretch, eat healthier, and work on her routine instead of riding the coattails of being homeless as an adult due to having low academic ability and showing obvious laziness for things like cheer. Kendal’s way too permissive and it’s affecting everyone in the house negatively (especially the pets they don’t take care of properly). Is Kendal not willing to do what’s necessary or did the lip filler get to her brain and she don’t get it?AlohaPineapple wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 7:08 pmFor those who have never heard of/seen CEA Crush who are first in the division with Lady Canes, they’re AMAZING. and listen I don’t give an f if they aren’t the best at cheer but it’s extremely obvious evie is barely even interested and kendal always makes up excuses and blows lies whenever the mediocre team doesn’t win competitions. switching gyms wouldn’t fix evies lack of work ethic either. Kendal needs to let the girl drop it so she can get started at her career in retail early because so far there’s been no talk or interest of anything else and I don’t think she’s qualified for a HS diploma anytime soon

Re: It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying
Brinley’s team is last after day 1.
Evie’s team is last after day 1
Kapri’s team is second last after day 1.
I distinctly remember Evie describing the gym after she’d been there to trial a year ago. She spoke of banners hanging on the walls, trophies lining the shelves and Kendal said she’s so excited as they’ll finally be going to a gym and can actually win medals. This clearly isn’t happening. And Kendal can brag all she wants about ‘Evie’s team winning 1st and Brinley’s team getting a jacket but she isn’t fooling anyone. The girls know themselves that winning a medal when you’re the only one in the competition or winning a jacket when no other good teams attend the competition isn’t really winning. I think Kendal believes that because Kapri was crying during training that it means she’s in a really tough and successful gym. Kendal’s grasp of reality is so thwarted. Tears and pain and injury equals a winning training regime. This absolutely is not the case. This is not old fashioned communist china or a Soviet Union gymnastics club from the 1970s where kids were pulled and pushed to their limits to win Olympic gold. What her girls do is a small step up from recreational sport.
I wonder if Mama Lori and Michael are taking personal responsibility for the poor results or do they pass it off as the teams failing to perform well?
Just on a side note, I watched Kapri’s r/o backhandspring tuck a few times. Again, her technique is so poor. If you slow it down you see both of her hands are pointing the same direction (left) in her back handspring and this is why the whole tumbling pass seems to curve left. Her feet are turned inwards and are flat So she doesn’t gain energy from her ankles when she hits the floor after her backhand spring to propel her vertically into the somersault.

This is everything I’ve been thinking! Glass, they need to hire you to teach the girls how to tumble! Thank you for breaking down Kap’s tumbling. I’m glad we have your knowledge and expertise here (plus just you in general because you’re clever and I like you ). Again, Kenny assumes we can’t see through the smoke and mirrors, that we’re all going to believe her when she says that this is a winning gym and that the girls will win jackets and stuff… yeah… sure they will. Your knowledge in tumbling confirms what we see but can’t speak on because we’re not tumbling experts.Glass Half Full wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 10:10 pm Brinley’s team is last after day 1.

I hope mama Lori and Michael are taking personal responsibility but I don’t know… a lot of cheer coaches feel very highly of themselves so if they kids aren’t winning, it’s not on them. However, I do think the responsibility falls at least partly on the coaches. If it were completely the athletes fault, it wouldn’t be every team at their gym struggling to win but it is. There hasn’t been one team that has consistently won. If the whole gym is failing to win, it likely means the coaching isn’t up to par but I don’t think it falls completely on them. I think there’s possibly also a bad culture in the gym where the athletes lack the drive to win, I don’t know. What I do know though is, like you said, I think they’re a step above recreational cheer but Kenny believes they’re like a step below what you see on Cheer on Netflix. She has a totally false impression of what the girls do. They can get the nice uniforms and the choreographed routines and the sparkly backpacks and all the stuff that the big all star gyms have but those material things don’t make them a big successful gym. If she wants them to go to a real competitive gym, she’d send them to Top Gun. However, we also know that the Rich girls don’t have the drive to practice and stretch at home so sending them to a better gym is pointless. You can have the best coaches in the world but, until they’re ready to put in the work, it doesn’t matter what gym they go to, they won’t succeed.
The image EV and Kenny painted when they first went to visit FC is certainly not the image we’re seeing.

It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying
Again, just like at CHEERSPORT each of the girls’ FC teams have the lowest raw scores in the competition so no way will they rank high than last place. The gym needs to up the routine so the routine scores higher. That’s the problem. Either the coaches are lazy and just concerned with Lady Canes or the girls just are not that interested in learning new components of a routine to bring their raw score up.
And they should have went to Top Gun. I had girls driving 2 hours each way to the World Cup gym and that was before covid when kids went to school during the day. I drove an hour and there were other gyms along the way but I knew that World Cup was the best and why not. My daughter learned new skills, won jackets, banners and medals and was also just on a level 3 team.
I don’t understand at these far away cheer comps (Atlanta, Orlando) I just see pictures of the 3 girls with brin or kap’s team friends at the pool, etc. and never pics of Evie with some members of her team. Hmmm…..

Re: It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying
My question in all of this is…why does Kendal think it’s worth it to spend literally thousands of dollars putting her girls in competitive cheer when there’s no return on investment. They don’t win, they don’t bring in any money doing it and it’s not like the girls are going to get scouted by college coaches for a scholarship or anything like that. What is the point? They don’t exactly have the money to put 1 girl through this type of cheer much less 3 girls. I’ll never understand why this family does what they do. I guess it’s another example of Kendal needing to feel special and important, and telling everyone she knows that she has 3 girls in competitive cheer helps her fragile ego (even though they’re mediocre athletes at best and they never win).
Imagine going bankrupt because your ego couldn’t handle your kids doing recreational sports instead. Lunacy.

Re: It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying
According to Kendal and the girls, they’ve been upping the difficulty of their routines. Obviously we know that may not be true but, if it is, the routines are likely being made too difficult that the girls can’t execute them properly bringing their scores down instead of up. I’m sure they probably put most of their resources into Lady Canes though; it’s their only team that really wins.Kitkat1023 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 5:18 am Again, just like at CHEERSPORT each of the girls’ FC teams have the lowest raw scores in the competition so no way will they rank high than last place. Good for you to make that sacrifice for your daughter to get her good instruction so she could grow into a talented athlete who could perform things with proper technique. Good instruction is worth its weight in gold so to not have to deal with life long injuries and chronic pain due to not performing things properly. Anyways, thanks for sharing; seeing that your daughter was on a level 3 but still had big wins and banners and jackets shows that it actually is possible, the bar is just set too high that Flip can’t reach it.
A couple posts up, someone mentioned something about all of EV’s team hating her. I think that very well could be true. She used to have friends like Eliel and Caitlyn and Gigi and other girls on the team but the only one we hear of now is Bella. Though I don’t think this is it, I wonder if the mystery appointment the other morning was to check out a new gym? Just since her friendships seem to have imploded and this is what she’s done in the past when this has happened, she ran away to a new gym. Like I said, I don’t think this is the most likely theory but it would fit with all their “fresh start” discussion.
Would you feel comfortable giving us a range of how much it cost total for a season of your daughter’s cheer? You don’t need to give an exact number, just like an approximation. If not, I totally understand! I would just like a better understanding of how much money KD are throwing at this sinking ship.
I can’t imagine the amount of money she is flushing down the toilet. You’re right, they shovel over a ton of money but get no return. It’s not only just the normal tuition costs but the privates, practice wear, uniforms, clothing, bags, makeup, traveling to competitions, comp fees, and the list goes on. It’s a crazy expensive sport but, as you mentioned, they’re not getting anything out of it. As of now, none of them are good enough to make a college team just by trying out, they definitely won’t be scouted by one and, if they were, they wouldn’t have the grades to get in to the school anyways.disgruntled_pelican wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 6:41 am My question in all of this is…why does Kendal think it’s worth it to spend literally thousands of dollars putting her girls in competitive cheer when there’s no return on investment. Totally crazy to go bankrupt just to fulfill your childhood fantasies thus living vicariously through your kids and pretending they’re these amazing athletes when they were even behind their teammates when they were at Cougars which Kenny would say isn’t even close to the level of competition at flip. You’re spot on, she loves the ability to brag on her girls being these super successful high level athletes especially because people who know nothing about cheer wouldn’t know any better, they’d believe her lies.
Kenny especially lives so much of her life in complete delusion. You can only live a lie for so long, the truth will always come out. Remember that Kenny, people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones…

I also thought that possibly Evie was visiting a new gym but I don’t think that’s the case for a couple of reasons
1. How Evie was dressed
2. Daniel was there too.
3. Some of Evie’s old Fire team mates went to Palm Beach Lightning and since they were in PalmBeach that day I can’t imagine they could have visited any other gym but that one and I can’t see that happening. Evie killed those friendships in Fire, she’s not going to seek them out again in another gym (in my opinion).

Her feet are turned inwards and are flat So she doesn’t gain energy from her ankles when she hits the floor after her backhand spring to propel her vertically into the somersault.

Wow. I know she’s young so I’m not going to blame her but this is clearly coming from her parents. This is the beyond racist and Kendal should be so so ashamed. What do Kapri’s black friends think of this? Disgusting.

OMG. Honestly surprised this was kapri not evie but HOLY SH**. Leave it to Kendal to not care about monitoring her kids’ social media and educating them on what’s not okay. The thing is though is that Kapri’s 12- we learn by intimidation. This thing on her story begs the question; how does kendal act around kapri when it comes to race and politics? She sure as hell ain’t showing a proper example
