Re: Sierra Watts?
Does anyone find her editing annoying? She fades it out to soon I guess and you don't even get to hear the end of her sentences.

Re: Sierra Watts?
UGH yes. I get that she's 15 and new to editing/youtube in general or whatever but come on, she must watch it before it uploads, the videos me and my friends would make at her age at least were comprehendable.Thatonegirl555 wrote:Does anyone find her editing annoying? Also did anyone see she deleted the video before this one? I'm not surprised, in my eyes it was all a big money-grab video, for anyone who didn't catch it she was talking about her PO box and presents and how she was super excited to open them all and then saying "Oh don't send me too much stuff, but please whore out my videos to anyone and everyone so I can make money!" I bet her Mum or someone had a word about how desperate it seemed. She has made her take down videos in the past for less.
Re: Sierra Watts?
The bump picture still doesn't prove it absolutely 100% to me. It obviously looks like she is pregnant but I have the ability to push my tummy out really far to make it look exactly like that, haha, and I'm very slim. But yeah, sure she is pregnant, but I'll always be a little dubious because she always comes across really staged in her YouTube videos.

Re: Sierra Watts?
So in her latest video, she said she took a lot of pills and "a couple of weeks later" found out she was pregnant, which means she was probably pregnant while she took them.
This baby is going to have some serious health issues, especially when exposed to that much medication in the extremely fragile first weeks. I hope she's taking extra care to avoid doing further damage to that baby.

after i saw that new video sierra just posted i lost all respect for her and i no longer support her in any way. i hope she reads this and understands that her bad video has made her lose a supporter and probably many more to come. not only in that video does she admit to harming her baby by taking pills but who knows what other substances she filled herself with at that time. she says she was depressed and did certain bad tthings so i know she did. the worst part is she makes it sound like the baby was just meant to happen because she prayed for somethings to live for which i think is ridiculous! she wants to make her story sound all cute an like this baby saved her life.

Re: Sierra Watts?
I kind of agree. I feel like her videos now are just a ploy to get more views. When she made her first video, it seemed more like she was just addressing the kids at school. Then she didn't make another video for a couple months, after realizing how many views she had gotten. Now the titles in her video and such make me think she's just doing it for the money. Which for her age and situation is great. But she needs to be careful about the kind of things she puts out there.Waterbug wrote:after i saw that new video sierra just posted i lost all respect for her and i no longer support her in any way. i hope she reads this and understands that her bad video has made her lose a supporter and probably many more to come. not only in that video does she admit to harming her baby by taking pills but who knows what other substances she filled herself with at that time. she says she was depressed and did certain bad tthings so i know she did. the worst part is she makes it sound like the baby was just meant to happen because she prayed for somethings to live for which i think is ridiculous! she wants to make her story sound all cute an like this baby saved her life.
I don't see why people ever doubted if she was legitimately pregnant. I too, found it odd she never posted much on her twitter and instagram about her pregnancy. But, I kept in mind that she's only 15. It's something that's going to take a while to come to terms with. Plus, I know tons of people personally that have been pregnant, and never posted an official status on facebook, bump pictures, etc. Some people like to keep things private, and within their family/friends. Things did get weird when she said she couldn't show her belly in videos, and was "working" on getting some bump pictures.
But I do think she is genuine, she's just in the process of both trying to grow up while becoming a mother at the same time.

Re: Sierra Watts?
I just watched her new video... I don't see the huge deal. She attempted suicide with pills WEEKS before she found out she was pregnant. probably before conception. WTH is that such a huge deal to "lose respect" for the poor thing. Her newest video actually made me respect her more for coming out and standing up against bullies and taking a stand and inspiring others to do the same and to be kinder.

Re: Sierra Watts?
I wish these girls would stop being selfish and put their baby up for adoption. I can understand how hard that might be, but if you can't provide for you child give it to a couple who can. Gawd

Re: Sierra Watts?
I agree, it's extremely selfish to keep a baby at 15 when you can't even get a job yet. Or the other partner isn't involved, it must not be fun depending on your parents I couldn't imagine that.
I speak the truth, if that makes me a bitch then so be it.

Re: Sierra Watts?
No one has to give their baby up just because of age... things are going to be hard but motherhood is hard period, she can overcome her obstacles and keep her child
she may need help... she has a long road ahead, she will struggle but it is not impossible nor is it selfish, it is called life! you deal with things as they come and you do your best which seems to me like what this child is doing
see no issue at all

Re: Sierra Watts?
I don't think she HAS to give her baby up, it would be more ideal for 15 year old's in my opinion. Sure she can overcome obstacles I don't doubt her at all. I don't think she'll struggle either because I saw on her Instagram she exploded her PO box for people to send things. If she didn't have YouTube she would definitely struggle.
I hope the best for her and her family, but I hope young girls don't watch her videos and think "hey, if she can do it, I can do it".

Re: Sierra Watts?
... people sending her things does not mean she wont struggle, having things helps but only a little...pregnancy and motherhood is trying in many different ways
she will struggle but I hope it will all work out for her in the end
and yeah I hope young girls don't ttc because of her being pregnant but maybe a young already pregnant girl watches her vlogs and get inspiration in some way from them...people sometimes just need to see/talk to others in their situation to not feel so alone or to know THEY can do it too
just another way of looking at things..

Re: Sierra Watts?
I personally think it is selfish to a degree. I don't think it's selfish if they keep the baby, the selfish attitude comes in when they make the choice to get pregnant. Pregnancy is 100% preventable and at the ages 13-14-15 the brain isn't even fully developed. They can not fully grasp the concept of what is going to follow this action on any level.
It is 100% plausible to sit down, tell your parents you are having sex, get some condoms and get on birth control. Any teen that is not doing those things is selfish. I know that if I had a teen girl and she came to me and told me this I would much rather spend the time and effort making sure she isn't a mother before she graduates high school than risk spending the money to raise her kids for her.
I come from a very traditional roman catholic portuguese/brazilian background and I was put on birth control the day after I finished my first period. Sexually active or not and I think if I was to have a daughter I would do the same thing. I would have brought so much shame to my family had I turned up 15 and pregnant that I wouldn't have been able to deal with the consequences of the disappointment, and that is selfish.

Re: Sierra Watts?
I agree Littlewaltz. I also think parents need to be more proactive in helping their daughters get on and use birth control, like was done in your family. I totally support that. I think that takes away a lot of the "oopsie" excuses we see so often on here. It's not like girls are unaware of how birth control functions, and at the very least, using a condom is a no-brainer requiring very little information to be able to use properly.
What's done is done in this case. I think she's not really in tune with the crushing responsibility that a baby actually brings once it is born. I wasn't ready for that, and I'd been married for a few years and really wanted kids. I hope she doesn't let this temporary internet fame get to her, because it doesn't last, and it does go sour pretty damn easily. It's actually a shame to me, seeing young girls throw away part of their life like this. They have no idea what they're really in for.

Re: Sierra Watts?
Exactly, I come from a family of 12 kids. 6 girls and 6 boys...guess how many of us had kids in high school? None, My mom/guardian made sure we were all safe...condoms were readily available and us girls were on birth control. Most of all I wasn't scared or ashamed to be honest about it...none of us were. The first person I told when I lost my virginity wasn't my friends it was my mom. It's sad that the cycle is going to continue. I can see a lot of these teen moms being grandparents before they are 35.gypsophila wrote:I agree Littlewaltz.
