Behind still but on the swimming alone thing: I'm 16 (my brother is almost 13) and when my dad takes us swimming at his friend's house, he still makes us get out if they both go inside or out front for a long period of time.

So Ollie threw his toy in, crouched like he does when he's going to jump in and then the scene cuts and Jim is wet fully clothed? The kid jumped in, just admit it I hope he is okay because it only takes a second to inhale water into your lungs.

Most families are too busy being families to do constant photo shoots.
The Lannings are too busy relaxing to be a real family, so they are obsessed with these perfect family photo shoots.
It's so fake!

Lol, OMG, that photo is awkward!calichic29 wrote:What is this? What a weird picture.
That's like the type of photo that pops up on your FB newsfeed as part of a "creepy (or awkward) maternity compilation" . It's just horrible.
What is with those two?
And why is there ANOTHER new photographer?

DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35

Is she trying to embarrass herself?
I think is safe to say she's one of the biggest attention whores EVER. Good or bad, she'll take it!

Shit, I didn't notice that and Ollie's hair is wet too... I kind of hope Papa just got in to play with Ollie but he doesn't look too happy and things are just awkward... I was I could hear what they're saying in the background.mydietsucks_1 wrote:So Ollie threw his toy in, crouched like he does when he's going to jump in and then the scene cuts and Jim is wet fully clothed? Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
Ridiculous antics to their toddler, jeopardizing his safety and pointless maternity photoshoots in 1 day! No wonder why Missy is so tired. It's hard work making sure the attention was all on her for it the day. The lecture will show no emotion or concern on her part, not sure why they will even bother.HelloSweetie1 wrote:

I was just about to say this! That little boy was only 4 years old!:( but of course Missy and Bryan don't watch the news so they probably don't have any idea that this tragedy happened and will continue to let Ollie wander around the pool...babyspice wrote:I can't with these people. Yesterday a little boy was at Misson Bay in San Diego. Wandered off and accidentally drowned. Pool and Beach Safety is so important. Bryan and Missy are losers. I feel bad for Oliver and Finn. Their safety clearly isn't important

They're still there. But I got seriously personally attacked. I don't know how to screen shot it, but I got called a "judgmental white woman who probably reproduced equally judgemental people" and told that "maybe your parents should have let you drown" I know this is waaay OT, but WTF?glowingrooms wrote:I doubt they'll stay up long. They'd rather delete criticizing comments than to think about their son's safety and their own stupidity.lmmomSD wrote:Yup. And all the responses. There's still a comment farther down from one person who said it made her a nervous wreck, and that she knows they were right there, but anything could happen. There are a couple of exchanges between men and a minion that are still there. We'll see how long they stay up...glowingrooms wrote:Was my comment deleted? I can't be bothered to go check.

I know. It even seem insensitive to post this vlog when that family is grieving, and it's just so sad.hannahbanana wrote:I was just about to say this! Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
Holy shit these two make me so upset. How can two people be so ungrateful??? You have been saying and asking people for their prayers for your miracle baby and here he is with his brother on the way... And you are just going to take everything for granted?
Idk I'm just so pissed off that they can be parents and they are many people struggling to even have children of their own.

I think this is the same photographer who did their maternity photos with Oliver?HelloSweetie1 wrote: Lol, OMG, that photo is awkward!

Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
I cannot believe they thought that was an okay way to test Ollie around the pool. And by "they" I mean his mother and father and aunt and uncle and grandmother and grandfather, all of which are legally considered adults . W.T.F.
At the very least they should have:
1) put a lifevest on him
2) yelled at/scared the everloving bejeezus out of Ollie the second he approached the pool edge.
But that makes way too much sense. Meanwhile Missy is not paying attention and blathering away about how she thinks Ollie won't go into the pool without an adult and Ollie is ALREADY IN THE POOL. I definitely think Ollie jumped in and Jim had to jump in to save him. In that clip Bryan was on the side of the fence too.

Haven't seen the vlog but judging by the comments, it sounds baaaaaad. What next? Throwing a ball on to the road and testing him to see if he changes after it? SMH!

I'm a long time lurker, very rarely a poster here but I just can't sit quietly through this one!
Most of how I feel about the pool "test" situation has already been said here so I won't go over all of the same again but I would like to say this:
This incident just proves how immature (and by immature I don't mean just bratty and entitled, I mean actually oblivious and lacking the common sense that should be gained through life experience) B&M are, particularly when it comes to parenting.
It doesn't take more than a few brain cells to rub together to figure out that toddlers really are pretty simple - reward positive behaviour, have consequences for negative behaviour and BE CONSISTENT.
For whatever reason they thought it would be a good idea to "test" Oliver around the pool but to then REWARD him with laughing, smiling and generally upbeat noises when he got in the pool (AGAINST THE POOL AREA RULES, Bryan?) is rewarding negative behaviour.
The minute he looked like getting in without an adult they should have been on him with a stern "No Ollie!" and shown him that that behaviour was not good or acceptable. Hell, even if missy threw in a "snap and clap", that would've been better than positive feedback for dangerous behaviour. Smh, I just can't even anymore.
