Yeah, I think in the play place? And/or the Chick Fil A play place, I think. He's also been followed, apparently, at parks before. It's not cute...I don't understand why they don't keep an eye on him and go to the parents to get the kids to stop. Unless they do? I haven't watched the vlog today lol

It's alright. Just give it a few more times until it annoys Ollie and he shoves or punches one of the kids "chasing" him. They will never go to a park or play area ever again.

I reallt hope they have instilled in Ollie "stranger danger" thats very alarming for kids to be following them around. If they aren't careful, which we know they are, it could very easily be Ollie or Finn

I have to wonder what's up with any of these parents. Missy and Bryan are obviously too busy filming and playing Bubble Witch to keep track, and the parents of the kids "chasing" him obviously aren't paying attention either. I wouldn't let my kids chase someone. My daughter loved Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, but if we'd seen them in a park, I wouldn't have let her bother them.

Sorry for the double post, but my daughter was just watching Casey Butler's vlog. If you want to see a cute three year old excited about birthday presents, watch that. Winston just turned 3, and his grandparents were bringing a "surprise", and he sat on the couch with his hands over his eyes, SO excited, and when he unwrapped it, he was jumping up and down, and ran over and gave his grandparents hugs. That's how a three year old is supposed to react to birthday presents. Not "Open it!" And then just kinda pushing it aside. Ollie gets presents almost every day, and nothing is special to him.
The minions envy him, and Bryan and Missy seem to think they're giving him everything they never had, but they're really doing him a disservice. They're turning him into a "poor little rich kid", and setting him up to always need something external to make himself feel good.

They aren't going to to put a stop to kids following Ollie because it makes them look famous, like they are a big deal. They probably also think people who don't know who they are, will go home and look up their vlogs and become new subscribers.

I haven't watched DB consistently since Ollie was a baby and they lived in Missy's parents house. And this is very off topic. But I just came across a post from Cullen & Katie on Facebook, and underneath it was an ad for Bryan's page (along with a few other youtubers), and it was a dark picture of him trying to look serious. I'm sure I'm going to sound like an asshole...but does he remind anyone else of Shrek? The meaty head, neck, ears..I just can't stop seeing him as Shrek.

While they may get noticed occasionally, I doubt Ollie was actually chased by 'fans'. This is just another bs by Bryan to really drive home to their viewers that they are in fact famous. Have you ever noticed that they never ever get any of this stuff on film? Yet they are a vlogging family with a camera in hand. Even all the times they have said people noticed them and asked for photos. we rarely ever see 'these' photos, unless they are at a yt convention etc.

Que a set up this coming week at a park or other place with people noticing them and chasing Ollie.

Bryan telling Ollie his shirt was a "pirate shirt" cause it had anchors and buoys and ropes..yeah that reminds me of Pirates. Nautical is the word you were looking for. Hooks for hands, peg legs, Johnny Depp and the Jolly Roger are what remind me of Pirates.

Finn can't touch the snake but Ollie can lick it. I think I pick up on more favoritism every time they upload in a multitude of ways. Ollie can take a nap every time in the car but Mithy hopes that Finn doesn't. He's already had his and they may have to look at him past 6 pm if he does! :?

Do you mean St George? If so it's about 400 miles and 5 hour drive. Not around the corner

They're in California. They had a Legoland vlog yesterday. So, they're spending a few days in sunny SoCal. Are they going to the Radio Disney Music Awards too? Bratayley did.
I was at a movie yesterday, and saw a preview for "Born in China". I was going to ask why, if the Lumps have to see every Disney movie the moment it comes out, why they haven't seen that movie yet. But then I remembered: Ollie's little head will explode if he's exposed to anything remotely educational. Can't go to the Zoo, the aquarium, or any movie that isn't animated fluff.

Omg that "Do you like my style?" line was so scripted. But of course Bryan has "no idea" where he learned that. Ok.

Man, look at those toenails! Someone's been walking through the chicken coop barefoot or something. Gross.

It's extremely concerning if people are really coming up to Ollie that often. They said they don't know how to talk about it with him...well, they better decide SOON! "Millions of fans" know his name and all kinds of details about his life and what he likes. I was just watching one of those experiments where a "stranger" tries to lure a kid away with puppies, and even though the parents had talked with their kids and insisted that their kids wouldn't go with the stranger, every single one did. Scary.

Eight minutes of gummy snake, really? Bryan was way too excited about it. My god, he is obnoxious. I love how two days ago they were making "healthy choices" at Subway, and today they received 9,000 pounds of sugar from Amazon Image And I was grossed out that they were all slobbering over that one end of it and passing around. Image As usual, Finn's cuteness was the only redeeming factor in this mess of a vlog.

Ok, sorry for the double post...but I just had to check this snake out on Amazon, and you *know* Bryan thought he looked just like this when he was posing with that thing ImageImageImage I'm picturing one of those how my friends see me, how I see myself perception memes with this under the "how I see myself category." A Bieber with a giant gummy snake...

Instead of "strangers," we use the term "tricky adults."
I know it's odd to use that term. We try to establish trust with public service workers. They are strangers but they are safe adults. Fire fighters, police, emts. Look for those workers for help first if you need help.
There's a fine line these days, and it's really sad. If they get lost, or can't find me or his father... everyone is is technically a stranger.
I don't want to be a helicopter mom, but in ways I feel like I need to be.

shortstop wrote:I'm not sure if I believe Bryan when he says a bunch of kids were cashing after Ollie. It was probably just one.
What got me was when they were basically coaxing him when they got in the car for instance:

Bryan:
Sometimes it gets a little crazy when we go to playgrounds because all of the kids almost always know who Ollie is. So they are always running after him yelling "Ollie! Ollie" Do you remem... did you see the people that Ollie?
Ollie then states "Yeah." Then Missy says her spill and Ollie says something you can tell they didn't like because you could see where some of it was cut to their liking.

Yet, in the video there were no kids surrounding him at any times except when he slid down on top of a child. The other children were really only near them when walking around them or playing on the same slide. If they don't like other children around their kids, heck take them to Mimi and Papa's house and play on the playground you paid an outrageous amount of money to be sitting there empty. Also, there was maybe a hand full of kids there at the time they are recording. Seriously?!?!?! ~~~ these folks are so fame and money hungry it is pathetic. I feel sorry for Finn and Ollie.

Was curious as to how many calories were in it and my jaw hit the floor. Over 36,000 calories?! I know they won't eat it in one sitting, or at least hope, but damn. That's enough calories for 18 days! Don't even want to look at the amount of sugar.
