I disagree about Cullen saying J&K had a 30 minute drive being sarcastic. We hear his sarcastic tone often, and that wasn't it. There's been lot's of talk in their comments all on youtube, Instagram, and facebook about them living closer to J&K. Most of it is skepticism and questions. Cullen totally did that to throw people off and make them think they don't live so close to each other.

I think they're going to post a video with an 'exciting announcement!!' which will be that they're neighbors...I think they just said that to throw us off so that everybody will be all surprised and excited when it's revealed. I don't see how it'd be possible to hide the fact that they live right next to each other, or why they'd want too, so I really doubt that's what's happening.

We can't test that now, you might have given them the idea.

Here's what their HOA says about fence restrictions. I'm guessing an invisible fence is what they'll do. A wrought iron fence that huge would be expensive!!!

"B. Fences are to be located to the rear of the house. Fences are generally not approved
along Golf Course property except in cases where swimming pools have been
constructed. Fences on the golf course should be wrought iron with brick columns at
eight feet on centers and with a max height of six feet."

WOAH! A wrought iron fence WITH brick columns every 8 feet would be extremely expensive!

Kelly and Jay are even listed in the HOA's quarterly magazine and they really do live four houses away. Cullen really is a weird-o for saying they live 30 minutes away, when it's really a two minute walk. I even think their houses look very much the same. Who's he trying to fool?

I really think he's a compulsive liar. It may have started as a way to protect privacy or keep things a surprise for future vlogs, but he does it so often, and so easily. He probably just thinks he's being funny or sarcastic. If I knew him in person and he constantly did that, I'd avoid him. How could I trust anything he said?

Reading through some of their HOA's info and it seems like they have moved to Stepford!! LOL, but DAMN there are a lot of rules and it seems extremely uppity! They even give out monthly LAWN AWARDS! FFS!!!!

They must be paying a ton in HOA fees for that community.

Invisible fences might work for some, but not for everyone. We tried one with my dog and he didn't care or respond to the noise corrections at all. We (reluctantly) moved on to an actual shock collar, but again, he learned that it would give him one shock when he went over it and then he'd be scott free once he reached the other side. Even on the highest setting it barely fazed him. He's a husky/rott/pit mix so he's got a super high pain tolerance and an incredible ability to escape his yard no matter what we throw at him. I realize that CK's dogs are much smaller and will likely respond to the frequencies, but it's still not something you should count on.

Invisible fencing also won't help keep the kids in the yard, and I'd be worried knowing that people could access my property at any time. They're too young to be outside by themselves at this point anyway, but it's still a bit nerve-wracking knowing that neither the children nor the public have any physical boundaries.

When you mentioned the HOA newsletter in a previous post, I had to look it up. HOLY CRAP! Their suggestions for Christmas decorations, and lawn awards are crazy. I'd hate to live somewhere with so many rules. Definitely seems like a place people move to in order to make people think they've "made it." Definitely a status symbol.

I thought the livestream was awesome, it gave people a peak at their moving day and how exhausted and excited they were to move. It was brilliant. I actually know a compulsive liar in real life and those people destroy families and friendships and are really really hard to stand, it's pretty harsh to call Cullen a compulsive liar if he lies once or twice, it looks more like an ill thought out attempt at covering up that they are neighbors for a while.

Really hoping they get a wrought iron fence for the backyard, that would be perfect.

Oh good grief.. i don't think he was seriously trying to hide the fact that they live close to kelly and jay.. it was a dang joke. Just like he pretends that he only feeds the cats every Saturday, because there are people out there who will believe anything.

I dunno-- I'm leaning towards it being one of Cullen's bad jokes about the half hour drive home. He does a lot of jokes that kinda fall flat, and I think that was one of them.

I agree compulsive liar seems really harsh, I don't think this is true and let's be real here, these are YouTubers that we don't know in real life. I would say Cullen is more evasive with information and this would be the hard part about YouTube. I believe their location should be private. It is also a business where sensational thumbnails and events are used by vloggers to gain views/subs = income.

Wow calling him a compulsive liar might be too much. It was just a joke, like when he says they only feed the cats once a week or when he asked if it was okay to warm Brook's bottle on the microwave. I actually love his sense of humor
