My favourite part of the podcast is that Bryan is CLEARLY uncomfortable with it being for “mature audiences”.
Every time Missy mentioned more “grown up” things, he either tried to steer it in a different direction, or “kiddy-proofed” the topic with euphemisms and coded language.

But he should be. They will lose a lot of they lose their “clean family” reputation. YT kids is their bread and butter atm, and it won’t take much to have their videos removed from it.

Putting the podcasts on YT was a huge mis-step. ESPECIALLY doing it on a pre-existing channel of Missy’s that already has a lot of child subs.

I thought he proposed at that carnival-- wasn't he planning to propose on the ferris wheel, but changed his mind because he was after he would lose it?

Yeah, how many times throughout the podcast did they have to draw attention to the fact that they had sex in high school and lived together before marriage? I get the impression that they think this makes them "edgy" and cool. I don't know any adult that thinks that's noteworthy. There is just something about them, that no matter how much money and YouTube "fame" they have, they're still those awkward, insecure teenagers.

I actually gave their podcast a listen since I had such a slow shift at work (I work online and have to be available even if I have no clients at the moment) and I found it much more interesting than their videos, which isn’t saying much, but still. I really wish actually that it was just Missy. She’s definitely willing to spill more, but Bryan kept holding her back. I also enjoyed hearing Ollie at the end. It’s amazing how much clearer he speaks and how much more he emotes when they can’t feed him lines. And the part where Bryan said “Would you have a special Ollie toy that you made?” and Ollie went “No!”- it’s refreshing at least to see him being a four year old instead of a puppet. (Although I’ll admit I haven’t watched a vlog in months at least. Maybe they’ve given him more freedom in the vlogs, but I doubt it.)

I hate to admit it but I’m still enjoying the podcast. Maybe because I don’t watch their “vlogs” anymore so the podcast is all I see of them lol.
I hope they talk about Missy’s religious upbringing and the compound she lived on with her family.

I think they’d be happier if they were just real and honest. Don’t wanna go into details about certain things? Then say so. That’s fine, they’re allowed to have things personal only to then. But to gloss over entire topics, say you’re going to spill only to tease is fake.

They’ve probably created too many enemies to spill a whole lot. They probably won’t mention Corbin and Kelsey at all, even though they were besties. If that bridge wouldn’t have burned they probably would have made decent podcast guests.

They are talking how they LOOOOVE Kesha so much and these people and the people they trash talk are the people WHO ACTUALLY WROTE THOSE SONGS. The truth of who "missy and I are" will come out for sure. I like fake people who market themselves and create fake PR schemes. There is nothing worse than a couple who build a living off of their children and bully people to the extent that they have. They really think they are and have always been the best and only people in the world.

Why are they spending so much talking about themselves on the internet in their 20s with really no life experiences? Then twisting everything and Making sure everything is marketable and said in a way that is "good for them". Thats no different than the stupid skits they were trying to sell off as daily vlogs. These people have lost it. They are creating a life that never existed. How can people live like that? I think the thing Bryan liked about MIssy is that he could control her and get over on her. He obviously has female issues so he likes that feeling, which is why I see alot of sociopathic tendencies from him. Being extremely niave and gullible she is easy to lie to and get over on. He likes to direct her with the vlogs. Which is really creepy.

I completely disagree. I think Bryan is the one that has been manipulated. Of any of them have sociopathic tendencies it’s Missy. Girlfriend has zero empathy and self-awareness. A lot of that probably comes from her cult upbringing though. Bryan had a desperate need to please, and feels his value is tied to their success. Judging by the way Missy intentionally avoids praising him, I’d say he’s probably right. If the money dries up, the Hollisters would disown him.

Nitpicking alert: "candelabra" is the plural. Candelabrum is one.
He's an idiot.
Regarding the above posts about who has the upper hand in their relationship, I totally agree with HS that Missy has Bryan jumping through hoops to please her. Every time he gets her a gift, he keeps asking "Did I do good?" And Missy just shrugs and says "Meh". She absolutely withholds praise to keep him off balance.
But I also agree with the other poster that they are living in this made up reality. I wonder if they have to write things down to keep their stories straight. And they are raising the boys to believe that the truth is whatever is convenient at the time.
On another note, Missy posted a picture of herself and Ollie cuddling. The caption was "When he wakes up at night and just wants Mama". That's the only time she likes her kids. When they're asleep. And she can post pictures and look like a "super mom".
