Re: HayleeAndBaby
Not really lol most of the reserves around here just drink and party how is that being an asshole? You can tell they just wear the uniform to get chicks. I never said they didn't serve the country how am I an ass just for saying they aren't fully a hero? It takes guts to shoot someone and see what someone who was deployed has seen. I'm sorry if you think I'm an ass but that's how I feel lol

Re: HayleeAndBaby
That's definitely not what I meant it in the American Sniper way where he shot people to save his troops. I guess I could have worded it better. I'd also like to state I don't mean all reserve men are the same, that's just how they are where I live. I will state again that I'm proud of the soldier whether they're reserve or active duty, however In my opinion I feel that a reserve who has not seen combat does not truly know how hard the job is until they have been to war. That's what I was trying to imply but I guess it camw out reeeeally wrong

Re: HayleeAndBaby
This. My brother is incredibly broken from being in combat overseas. Had he never gone over there he'd be fine. I'm not going to get into specifics but mentally and physically he is falling apart. At 26 years old. Of course these people are amazing for serving our country REGARDLESS of if they've been over there. But I don't feel like it's the same. Someone who has been based only in the US can never understand what it's like for those who have been overseas. They wouldn't see the horrible things that happen for themselves. So yeah, I can see how those who were in combat are a little more heroic. Not by choice necessarily. It's not like they can choose if they're deployed there or not. But in one case your life is in constant danger. 100% of the time. The other has its dangers but it's not the same.AuntieToABabyBoy:) wrote:I don't see anything wrong with what she said. I see what she's trying to say is all. And like she said, it's just an opinion. No one is saying anything bad about military. It's just annoying that Haylee acts like her bf is fucking GI Joe and the kid is in the reserves.

Re: HayleeAndBaby
Quick question, how do you know he's in the reserves? I don't remember her ever saying it?
Re: HayleeAndBaby
I really like her, she's sweet and seem really genuine. I watched her draw my life video and she's such a strong girl for all she went through!

I respect soldiers and I admire what they do but I cannot STAND some of the military wives. I am in a mommy group in my area and it's in English. Most of the moms are military and they act like I should be thanking them for the job that THEIR HUSBANDS do. One woman wears a "proud army wife" lanyard around her neck and her husbands camo jacket and another one on Instagram has her husbands rank with Mrs in front. The ones I know are very....how can I explain it....arrogant & ignorant.
Re: HayleeAndBaby
That's so weird to me. I'm dating a guy in the army and I would never ever post a photo of me in his army jacket. I've worn it and he took a photo cause I looked 'cute' but never would I post it. Starters, he was told its against code or something, secondly, I'm myself before I'm a Army Mans girlfriend/wife. I understand some women are proud and I totally get that I am too but as I said, I am me, my job and my career before I am a Army Girlfriend.HelloHolaHallo wrote:I respect soldiers and I admire what they do but I cannot STAND some of the military wives. She said she met him at his work, which was the first clue. She also said on her ask.fm that he is reserves, and in her last video she said that he had drill that weekend.ohgoodness wrote:Quick question, how do you know he's in the reserves? I don't remember her ever saying it?

Re: HayleeAndBaby
I know woman who put their job on facebook as "army wife". I love my husband serving and the military but never will I tote around an ACU purse or get anything saying army wife!Yue195 wrote:That's so weird to me. Re: HayleeAndBaby
Her husband is apparently really high in ranks (I'm not familiar with the vocabulary) and she is a walking billboard for the army. I have friends who are affiliated with the military and it's always the insecure women (in my opinion) that live through their husbands and their ranks. I feel like Hayley is looking for something to identify/belong to, she's milking this military thing. If she starts posting military memes I'm unfollowing lolAmbrosia wrote:I know woman who put their job on facebook as "army wife". Re: HayleeAndBaby
When you think about it she was already affiliated with the army through her dad being in it ( Army Brat as they are called) so she's already in the know. Dating a man in the military is probably in her comfort zone since she is aware and used to the life style.HelloHolaHallo wrote:

Re: HayleeAndBaby
I think Haylee always wanted to live a military lifestyle because of her dad. I remember she talked about Albert joining, and when that didn't happen she talked about joining herself. I get that she's proud of Randy, but there are so many more important things that she is, other than a "Marine gf".

Re: HayleeAndBaby
They're basically part time military. And if there's ever a war they'd be the last to be drafted. I'm pretty sure, anyways. Anyone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!
Re: HayleeAndBaby
Yue and Emcee you ladies are right!!! I think it does have to do with her dad/comfort zone. That makes a lot of sense. Maybe she's also interested in the benefits? It's a good respected job with a lot benefits. Maybe that makes her feel a little secure?
