Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
He probably was tipsy. I doubt Cullen would smoke weed, it's illegal in AL and Katie does not look like the type that would stand for it. Alcohol can make your eyes red too, plus it was after the game and drinking is a big part of that.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
Im confused.. I thought people were talking about when he went to target that morning? It wouldve been before 10 because he got breakfast at chickfila. Surely he wasnt drunk or high at 10 in the morning..Sarai wrote:He probably was tipsy. Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
Yeah, I'm talking about when he went to Target in the morning, I think he said it was for black friday shopping? Perhaps he shouldn't have been drunk/high (and driving) at 10am but he definitely was

Nvm I though y'all meant today's vlog with the periscope at the end. The target clip was weird

I get that Cullen is a friendly guy but I gotta say, he was MIGHTILY friendly on that periscope night..Baconsgirl wrote:Scar2016 wrote:Maybe he was baked in that too? It was the night before his 'trip' to Target right?Baconsgirl wrote:That periscope was just plain strange.

it made me really uncomfortable and I wasn't even there. Is it just a thought he smokes?

Had the same thought. I'm sure my eyes were red and puffy after working Thanksgiving and black Friday cuz I was sooo damn tired (I took a 4 hour nap when I got home on Saturday. )marshmallowfluf wrote:He just looks tired. Agreed, he said it was 9 something in the morning, he just looks like he just woke up.. His behavior doesn't seem any different to me than any other time either. Plus even if he does smoke, he doesn't seem like the wake and bake kind...lolmarshmallowfluf wrote:He just looks tired. I think yall are making something out of absolutely nothing. On another note, what was all the whining about the restaurant they were at? Didn't seem like Cracker Barrel _at all_. We don't have Cracker Barrel in San Diego, but we have lots of commercials for it, and it seems like a Denny's type chain. This place looks a lot funkier just from the food. I'm sure the business really appreciated the crappy review. The way people come up to them, it seems like they have a decent subscriber base in their area, and it could really hurt the business.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
They said it was Holler & Dash? I've never heard of it, and i'm pretty local to them, might be an Alabama thing?? I didn't have an issue with them saying they weren't very impressed with it. They didn't say anything horrible, just that it was more expensive than they expected and that it wasn't the food they really expected. I think it's fine for them to say they arent coming back.. rather see them be honest than not.. personal opinions are just that, ya know? I for one like the fact that they said it was more pricey than they expected, just to give people the heads up if they wanted to try it.lmmomSD wrote:On another note, what was all the whining about the restaurant they were at? ETA: They only have 4 locations, looks like a small local "chain" 2 in AL, 1 in TN and one in FL... Also, $8 for a chicken biscuit?? $9 for bacon, guacamole and a fried green tomato biscuit? Yeah i would have griped too.. Looks like a small overpriced southern hipster restaurant.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
But you can generally look at menus before you go in. I just don't know where they got the idea it was like a Cracker Barrel. There are so many ways to check out a restaurant before eating there. They said a little more than it was more expensive than they expected. Cullen complained about the kale salad, and the pickled okra, and the "weird jams and jellies". It just seemed superfluous. They're not a restaurant reviewing vlog.
And I suppose your location has something to do with perception of prices. $8 or $9 for a sandwich is pretty normal for a downtown San Diego restaurant.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
IDK where they got that about Cracker Barrel either.. maybe someone told them that?? It was for sure weird.. I like the honesty, it doesn't bother me that they said what they did about the place, i wouldn't have thought twice about it unless i would have read your comments. The prices are a bit steep for here, for a biscuit anyway. I mean even a plain biscuit was $5, its a perfect example of the hipster foodie scene just charging whatever they want for food and people will buy it, LOL I also think its kinda silly to say they shouldn't comment on their dining experience bc they aren't a restaurant review channel... If they praised the food and thought it was amazing would you have thought the same?lmmomSD wrote:But you can generally look at menus before you go in. That's probably right. I don't notice when they talk about places where they're eating when they're enjoying the meals. I did think it was weird how they kept saying that they thought it was going to be like Cracker Barrel, but whatever. Agree to disagree.

I don't get the Cracker barrel thing either, it was nothing like Cracker Barrel... other than it being "southern" food? Breakfast food? But even thats a stretch bc Cracker Barrel doesn't just serve breakfast food. I hope that it was something they heard from someone, bc Cracker Barrel was the last thing that i would have thought of when i saw that place. Unless it's got antiques hanging all over the walls.. LMAO. (great, now i want hashbrown casserole )lmmomSD wrote:That's probably right. I don't notice when they talk about places where they're eating when they're enjoying the meals.
