The only time pre-Emersyn that I ever heard taking that long was in a fictional Lifetime movie. The woman had a baby and didn't name her baby for a month after she had left the hospital and her mother had passed away. I looked it up then and saw it did happen, in other countries. I never thought Lucy'd do it though...

Zulily doesn't offer a $20 credit for referrals UNLESS your referrals place their first order. Lucy doesn't get credit for referring existing customers or for referring people who never place an order.

The honest company gives $20 credits for referrals and that's where all of those diapers are from. She has the invite link in her down bar. I'm quite sure she has tons of credits. I however also do not think for one min they are as tight with money as she likes to make her minions think. She just does it so they will send her crap. She's pathetic.

I'm glad that she didn't use my name.....I'm Laken and I kept cringing every time she said my name in the announcement video. I just got around to watching it and OH MY GOSH THANK GOD THIS CHILD FINALLY HAS A NAME. Don't like the middle name Lake though cause it's so close to my name but hey I'm just annoyed with them so much I don't wanna hear my name or parts of my name come out of her mouth!

I actually like the name. I have a friend and she named her daughter that too. Calls her emmi for short. Wonder if that's babytards full name as well

I'm the weirdo who takes forever to name their kids but not a MONTH. My OB/GYN jokes about it. With my son, he told me he would discharge me from the hospital if I gave my son a name. I REALLY WANTED TO GO HOME so I named him and was released. With my daughter, when he came to check on us the next day, he said "That baby have a name yet?" I said no, and he said "well you know the drill!" He released me as soon as the clerk had the birth certificate form in hand... LOL

Regardless, I also don't think they are on as tight a budget as she claims. Or if they are, it's because her preferred lifestyle is a bit beyond their means, not just because of baby #4.


I was referring to the Honest Company. The process with the referrals is the same but because it is a newer company she probably did get a lot of money in referrals for new customers.

Joel has brown eyes, no?

Brown is technically dominant over blue/green/whatever color she claims to have right now, so it would make sense that a majority of their children would have brown. I don't get the emphasis on hair/eye color either. And I hate to say this because it's probably not going to well accepted but Emersyn is not a 'pretty' baby. Hopefully she gets more attractive as the time goes on, but I'm not seeing it right now.

She cares about what's posted on here anyway. Yes Lucy you may "not mind about sitting at the side of the road for 3 hours" but what about the 3 other children you're responsible for? Why even bother to cause trouble and ask if others nurse in the car when you've already stated you won't do it and you're not interested in doing so.

That was my thoughts exactly. Why did she even bring it up if she wasn't considering it? I seriously don't doubt that either she has done it or has considered taking her out of the car seat and nursing her or taking her self out of the seat belt and shoving her boob in her mouth. I doubt she pulled over. I think if it isn't an emergency pulling over is not a safe thing to do. She is placing her whole family at risk. Someone commented that it was time for a paci or breast milk from a bottle and Lucy's response was" IT WAS TOO EARLY TO INTRODUCE EITHER." Really?? Really?? Babies are given pacifiers in the hospital and/or a bottle. If they are nursed they can still have a pacifier and some mom's pump and give bottles right away. She has more lame excuses that anyone I have ever seen on!

I am noticing Lucy is making her videos shorter and shorter. She sure does come up with excuses like...she forgot to come back and finish the vlog after she was interrupted...Jaclyn didn't like PaceFace interrupting....the camera shut off...ect ect. She still gets the views therefore making $$$ but they are getting to be half ass. On another note I am getting sick of Joel. What is up with all his involvement on the vlogs??? Does this man not work anymore?

And does anyone find it weird that she continues to call the baby "Rainbow" and not her true name that she took a month to pick out? Has anyone had an actually "rainbow baby" and continue to call them rainbow? I find that so..weird

Joel is SOO annoying. He's good with the kids but seriously I am surprised he hasn't done a review on the diva cup or something. Sometimes I swear he has forgotten he has a penis. His next vlog will be how to clean lucy's menstral pads. I think he's lost some of his manhood to his wife. I honestly don't think he works. I guess he just seems a little too compliant to go to a nurse in and hang out with a bunch of women, or go to the big latch on again with mostly just ladies. I feel bad because it doesn't seem like he has his own friends.

NEVER . in all the vlogs they have I have never seen joel hang out with any of his friends or even talk about it . that's probably because he doesn't have any . he is always following lucy around like a lil puppy dog going to nurse in events and such . I get that as a husband he wants to support his wife but he doesn't really seem to have an friends or his own interests . he is the main one taking care of the kids daily and it seems like he isn't working anymore cause he is always at home . maybe he is on a leave since lucy had the baby but its been a month now he shoulda been back at work . obviously they are too strapped for cash if joel can take a month off work or possibly quit his job . lucy is so FAKE AND FULL OF SHIT !

Yeah I do find that odd. I know men get paternity leave, but I also know it's normally not as long as a woman's maternity leave. I know that male teachers only get one or two weeks in my state paid so I don't know how long a waiter would get unless he had a VERY understanding boss.

My 2 kids are rainbow babies and my 3rd will be too whenever that happens.

I've never called any of them Rainbow ever.

I have a feeling Lucy made joel use his family medical leave. Men or women are entitled to it and it's 6 weeks unpaid leave where you don't lose your job. She probably knew she was going to be completely overwhelmed with 4 children.

he probably quit his job or got fired . cause no boss is that understanding where they would let the spouse be off for a month , maybe two weeks but not a whole month . their marriage is not an equal partnership . he does everything , cooking and laundry and bathing the kids . what does she do ? sit on her ass all day and complain . she seems like the type of wife to be controlling and just nag her husband to death . but maybe joel doesn't have a problem with it , maybe he likes doing everything idk . I cant even really call him a man because he is like a dang women . he needs to hang around some guys . go to ranger game with his friends instead of lucy and the kids . he doesn't seem to ever get time to himself but lucy does .
