I kinda get pissed when youtubers ask for votes on contests against your everyday person. It's kinda not fair if you ask me. But whatever.

As for her singing video...she's not a bad singer. But her singing videos or in videos gets old. She does it for show.

Now that we're over the Autism thing can we PLEASE talk about the make-up contest.. Not only does the camera quality in the picture suck (and she's a photographer) but the makeup is hideous!!I was "that good" at make-up when I started wearing it.

The moment I read friend who works with Mary Kay in description I knew it was gonna be bad. Looks like the friend did everything and just needed the model (Vanessa) and the publicity ( Vanessa's channel).
In the name of the moon, I shall gossip about you.

I thought it was pretty good until the end she tried to hit the long high note. Her voice can't go that high, she needs to stay within her range.

Catching up on Her vlogs...did she really set the camera on the shelf so we could see her new hot boots? I'm laughing so hard right now.
Okay Vanessa, WHY would you take lily to the toy aisle, SHOW her the dolls, and not get her one? I think that's just mean.

Awkward Vanessa.
I agree!! Her walk was even awkward. Maybe it's the boots...if so she needs to stop wearing them bc the walk is ridiculous.

I love Vanessa so much! I am honestly so happy she makes so many videos. She is just a constant source of entertainment. It's difficult to even fathom how she continues to wake up everyday and post these videos for all to see and STILL she doesn't realize that we all see right through her. Unfortunately, I think she might have a legitimate problem. She NEEDS attention. She uses her child and boyfriend for YouTube content. I can't think of a single minute in all of her videos where I felt she was being authentic and not putting up a front. It's mind boggling.

Snow White wrote:Autism is very diverse. It has a very large spectrum.

Symptoms of Asperger's:

1. Failure to develop friendships.
2. Selective Mutism (this occurs when a child and only speak freely with people they are comfortable with)
3. Inability to empathize (there are articles outlining this trait is similar in girls with Turner syndrome)
4.unable to make eye contact or forcing eye contact.
5. Social awkwardness
6. narrowed interests (frozen?)
7. Sticking to a routine
8. Literal interpretations
9. Excellent pattern recognition (shapes video?)
10. Poor motor skills (both gross and fine)

Let me be very clear, I am not diagnosing Lily with anything!! I am simply pointing out, based on what we have seen in Vanessa's videos it's worth looking into.

Further more lily's SPECIALIST'S do not see her interacting with other adults or children. 10 mins in a doctors office while he/she checks either Lilys heart, ears or throat, does not mean anything in my opinion when it comes to her mental, or social development!
But there are key features that tend to be active in the majority of cases, ranging from mild-severe. Many of these Lily doesn't display. But as I said earlier, as she has just turned 3 not many health professionals will even entertain the idea of a diagnosis at that age simply because many of the 'traits' are seen in completely normal children of that age, giving far too many false positives. It's especially becoming more and more important to diagnose at a later age due to the spike in confirmed cases in disorders like ADHD when actually the behaviours are completely normal in children.
If I *really* felt that my child was abnormal in a set of behaviours then yes I'd discuss it with the experts which I am sure V has. But I sure as hell wouldn't have them slapping labels on my child that are very hard to have removed once they are there!

I just did a quick search of libraries in Charlotte (of which there are many) and omg there are SO many activities for kids! They have story time all throughout the day. All different types! They have all different ones that focus on language development, socialization, gross and fine motor skill development, music, family yoga, there are even activities for kids with autism, listening skills, coordination, family story time, there are classes for kids who speak Spanish, there's kind of a workout class for tots, early literacy, singing, themed hands on activities, interactive science and math activities. There are even regular theater performances. They even have reading time with therapy dogs! I don't know about you guys but this makes me want to pull my hair out! Literally every single one of those things would be amazing for Lily. Think of alllllllll the time she wastes sitting at home, chin propped up in her hand, watching frozen for the umpteenth time. Oh I'm sorry, she's more well-rounded than that...sometimes she watches Pocahontas. Vanessa once claimed that lily's education was of the utmost importance because she will most likely have some deficits and also, if she ever wants children, she will need a good job to pay for either ivf or adoption. I don't think Vanessa is the worst mother in the world but I just cannot understand how she can have no job, no school and only one kid (a child that probably NEEDS extra developmental opportunities), yet she can't be bothered to seek out activities for her daughter. I think it's lazy parenting. Vanessa is so obsessed with appearing perfect to others so she just sticks to her simple little schedule so she can make sure she accomplishes all her daily activities which consist of her refrigerator lists (cleaning and tv). There's got to be a million activities for children in her area. Why doesn't she take advantage of any of them?

Lots of sanctimommies here

Vanessa takes Lily places lol. Not all the time, but I've she's been to parks and the zoo. Does she spend too much time watching movies and using electronics? Probably, but I don't really think that not taking your child all over town all the time makes you a lazy parent. I take my kids places but we don't do play groups, we don't really go to the library other than to check out books (which we don't do that often because if I want a book we buy one) and I assure you, I'm not a lazy parent. Lol.

I mean y'all are free to have your own opinions and gossip about em if you want, but this is Vanessa. She gives you way more material than that lol.

I'm sorry but she definitely doesn't go to the park or zoo very often. And if you'll notice, a lot of those programs were either somewhat or very educational. I don't expect Vanessa to take Lily to every single class obviously but for someone who claims that lily's education is important, she hasn't provided any intellectual materials outside of an iPad game and a workbook.
Ok so this is somewhat related but also entertaining: I wanted to see what this thread was like in the beginning so I went all the way back a realized that Vanessa used to come on here and post. I didn't read here then but I think I remember hearing it mentioned. Anyway, here is a post she made :

"Its not just me. Its the doctors as well. There is a reason that most people that have webbed necks get them removed. And If I can do whatever I can to prevent lily from being bullied then I will do so. Lily could still get bullied either way but I know I did everything In my power to prevent it. Of course with Interaction with other kids, Family, An friends she will have a beautiful personality and that can well save her but we dont know that for sure.

Look obviously If you tell a five year old that there going to put her in surgery that includes shots and what not they will say ""no." But at 12 or 15 when the bullying has been a problem and she wants the surgery then she will wish she had it earlier. She will get the surgery but the bullying will continue with "Wow she hates herself. Shes fake. Plastic." Im doing in alll my power to prevent her from feeling the negative in life and her knowing all thats good! Its not life threatening and Its not going to hurt her in the long hall.

I LOVE MY DAUGHTER TO DEATH. I WOULD DIE FOR HER. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I think she is absolutely beautiful. Ive been contacted by modeling agencies who want her and ask for her. (I don't trust them and would never put her in one. Ive heard terrifying stories.) I think she is a gorgeous baby. The reason I am doing this is to protect her. To do all that I can as a mother. And of Course build charicter and other things as well so she can be happy and postive throughout life. She will be raised as a normal child. Not treated any differently then a child with Problems."

Okay, so as you can see, she did plan at one point to expose Lily to other children. I think juicing, couponing, target shopping, and tv watching just got in the way.
Lily aside, can you guys believe how terrible her writing is? She's like one of those 'how did she graduate high school?' kind of writers. I'm sorry, but I think you can learn a lot about somebody's intellect based on their writing. She's got a mistake in almost every sentence! I flat out don't see Vanessa going back to school. What classes would she take? Baking? Honestly, I'm curious! What do you guys think she'd be good at?

Hard to say what she would be good at.. Maybe culinary. I know she isn't the best at cooking, but they would obviously teach her. There are not that many great jobs in culinary though. Other than that, I don't know what else she does... Aside from cleaning, taking care of Lily, and photography.

When I'm feeling bad for/indifferent about V, she always manages to do something to make me want to pull my hair out again.

1) The walking clip in Target. (Seriously? You put your camera on a shelf to film that? Eep)

2) The singing. Oh dear, the singing. The only thing that could make it worse is the faces. And the only thing that could be worse than the faces is making them whilst NOT looking at the camera. Holy crap. So irritating.

3) Car seat safety---#chestclipnotbellyclip. I know, I should just be glad she doesn't have her puffy coat on.
Also, Lily is 27 lbs??? I knew she was small, but what a peanut!! My son is 21 months old and weighs more than her (and will be rearfacing for a lot longer)

Luckily, Lily is adorable and cracked me up in her video, so I'll just try to focus on that.

PS: Benny, if I was finally let out of the closet after being locked up for days, I'd scratch her face too.

Exactly. That's how you get a child upset. We just don't go in that area.
Who the hell has the time to be putting a camera down like that & walking. Corny! I wonder what people watching security cameras think.
