Haven’t watched in a long time. Their babies are close to my kids age and were in the same NICU so I check in from time to time. They’ve been MIA for a bit. Anyone have any information on what’s going on?

I was shocked. I figured something was up with their sudden stop of vlogs. But for him to have gotten his own house shows how serious the separation is. They have such different personalities but seemed to make it work. This has got to be so tough on the older kids who had their world turned upside down with the quints and now this. Happy mom and dad is important but that's got to be rough shuffling 7 kids back and forth.

This was upsetting to watch, Skyler very much in ‘divorced dad’ mode. I imagine it was Jamie who wanted the separation but can’t really imagine why. They did seem like a very functional couple. Sad.

Jamie always struck me as high maintenance.
Plus, I don’t think she ever bought into the whole blogging circus. He’s so over the top just like Tyson Gardner. ugh
I do feel awful for all of the kids.

So sad, although somehow I'm not surprised. Jamie hasn't looked happy in the vlogs for a long time. I always thought it was because she was over vlogging, but obviously there was more to it.

Out of all the Utah family vloggers with multiples, I thought they'd stop vlogging and the parents would get actual jobs when the kids got a little older and easier to manage. I'd hoped that was what was happening when they took a youtube break. Now they've separated, I think it's time to stop. The kids will be hurting from the separation and it's not fair to put them to work to support two households. They need love and support at a time when their whole world has been turned upside down. The last thing they need is having a camera shoved in their faces.

I was so shocked when I found they'd separated. I know I shouldn't guess what's happened but I feel it came from Jamie. I thought mormons were meant to stay together into eternity? I cannot imagine what could pull this family apart. I've been married 32 yrs & there were so many times we could have walked away, but I am so glad we didn't. No-one will love those children more than their own parents. I really feel for Skylar. I've never really warmed to Jamie. So sad for the kids

I noticed on the vlog where the new kitchen was at the front door Jamie was not happy about it so wondering if Skyler had bought it for their birthday and delivered as Jamie asked one of the kids if they liked it and they said no and she said neither did she she preferred the older one I saw that as a dig at Skyler would love to know what happened with them as like most vloggers they appeared to be fine but some have said that he is gay? It has been quite a few months since the separation and for the birthday Skylar had a lot of family for his time for their birthday but Jamie didnt? No one knows what went on so maybe no blaming of either parent as I have seen a lot of blaming for Jamie but she was the one who carried them all and also had another two before them just saying

Yeah I guess we'll never know & it is none of our business. I haven't heard the Skylar being gay thing & I wonder if that came about because of his theatrics & funniness. I don't think he is but who knows? I just thing marriages have to be worked at. I'm 32 yrs married & its been hard but you have to remember why you fell in love with them in the first place.

My husband & I, over 32 yrs of marriage, have NEVER had a weekly date night, not even a monthly date night. if we wanted to go out we had to pay someone full rates to babysit our kids. No-one to mind our darlings, 3 under 5.5 yrs. WOW I think some families are just spoilt. Even so, if we did go out I worried the whole time if the kids were OK. We had to come home early one night as our border collie pup had nipped our baby boy who was about 4 at the time.

Sad because him buying a home makes the split seem final.

I can’t imagine buying that nice a house and being able to support two households. Even with YouTube, that’s quite the expenditure.
