I'll be honest and say I'm not a fan of dogs, so not watching these videos anymore just got easier! lol We did have a dog for 10 years and I just can't get back into having another one. I do have a cat, though!
But seriously, Ashley just got the dog for views. We can say that, right? lol

Well of course her daughter should choose for herself and hopefully she chooses the categorically proven scientific facts of evolution and how the world was created.girlandboymom wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 8:26 amThey are both theories. My point is that Ashley will not let her daughter choose for herself.chocolatelover711 wrote:The idea that creationism is seen as fact and evolution just a theory is scary. I was in a large private school for both though. I also graduated from Bob Jones University from which some of that curriculum is made. The curriculums include evolution as a theory and creationism as fact because the curriculums are Bible based. I still believe in creationism but would have appreciated both being presented as theories I could choose from. All curriculums I've seen in my elementary education studies as an adult sway one way or the other. That being said, Ashley is truly choosing the laziest route in homeschooling, not to mention life in general. She isn't teaching anything positive. I'm not going to watch that video because this woman disgusts me.

She's mentioned that they are both allergic to -certain kinds- of dogs. They don't react to Tiger so a type like that would be fine.brittknee wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 6:23 am I guess I’m just confused by the whole thing because she’s said in numerous videos that they’re both allergic.....so she gets another dog.
Not to mention how painful it was watching her not even enjoy the dog but instead WENT BEHIND IT WITH A TOWEL ON THE FLOOR WIPING UP!!!

So she had NO IDEA they were getting a dog today and wouldn't have time to go out for dinner so she had NO IDEA they'd be making a hello fresh meal. But "that portion" of the video is sponsored. Huh?
I'm really worried about their bodies. All that processed junk every single day is not good for them. She seems to actually be proud of the fact that she doesnt cook. Girl, no. There's nothing to be proud of when you dont take care of your family in literally the most basic way.

And that dog is not going to last. Soon, he will go to a friend or family member's house because "he's so much more comfortable over there. But we'll still see him all the time."

Please please please do not purchase a dog off Craigslist, Facebook Markets, etc. They are usually backyard breeders with only money on their mind. If you want a designer breed, go through a reputable breeder where you will know the history of the mother and sire, you will be able to stay in contact if you have additional questions or medical issues, etc.ChelleBelle wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 6:40 amYup, a labradoodle. That's exactly what Meg has, except hers is the golden one.speaktruth wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 6:19 amIs it another Meg wannabe dog?
How SO thoughtful and generous that she can make the 2 people she's supposed to love the most, suffer so much! Just, WOW! The only person Ashley loves, is Ashley. That is it. End of that story.
What a joke that she keeps saying they want to adopt a dog, but then get it from Craigslist? Most dogs sold on Craigslist are sold by breeders. Also, he doesn't look like a labradoodle at all? The face/body yes, but his fur isn't curly at all.
Edit to add: I guess there are straight haired labradoodles, but they have more lab than doodle in them. Wouldn't that flare up their allergies really bad?

OMG a fucking Dog was the surprise?? Whole shit!! First thunderstorm In Oklahoma and the dog is scared and Big, problems, loud higher pitched bark problems, locked up on a chain in the yard and it’s barking it’s head off neighbors complain problem, building a fence to keep The higher active runner happy and the poop patrol daily unless you want Hoa to complain too problem, in 6 mos when the dog is bigger than twice his size and runs around the house after a rain storm and slides on in to Ashley’s carpets, couch, laundry room best of all Ashley her self, dog will be gone!! Savvy don’t get attached, keep your distance!!
I am going to laugh when she gets her LV chewed up and shit stains on her light colored carpet!! Forget your 2 hour long target hauls girl!! You don’t dare leave a lab breed alone until after 2 it is so much puppy dumb and ruining all of your personal things!! Have fun with that haha haha!

A golden doodle is upwards of $1800+ and are bought almost exclusively from breeders. Please, please, please tell me they adopted or were given this dog from someone who could no longer care for him.
The dogs are hypo-allergenic so they're great for those with allergies like Chase and Savy. I was given a Malti-poo by a patient a few years back whose own dog had puppies and poodle mixes are great family dogs. Panic attack? Grow the hell up, Ashley. It's a DOG, you're not housing a convict.
I am totally against how these dogs are becoming so overbred due to them being insanely popular and now are being cross bred to make so many other fluffy mixes. It breaks my heart.

I am trying to be optimistic, but given she likes to do things on the cheap I am going to go with backyard breeder because they are so desirable But it will get her instagram views and subscribers and that is so much more important than being an ethical puppy owner. I get to many people it is 'just a dog' but ugh. Just can't type the words I want to.QueenMaleficent wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 4:44 pm A golden doodle is upwards of $1800+ and are bought almost exclusively from breeders. Re: Til Vacuum do us part | Part 2
She got him off of craigslist supposedly from a family who “didn’t want him anymore”. She wanted an adult dog, but then decided on this puppy after making sure it was potty trained etc. I’ve adopted (from shelters) four yr old dogs and they were both potty trained and they had a few accidents just adjusting to being in a new home. I hope Ashley realizes this is normal. I just don’t have a good feeling about this adoption. I hope I’m wrong.QueenMaleficent wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 4:44 pm A golden doodle is upwards of $1800+ and are bought almost exclusively from breeders. I feel ya! I’m side eying getting a dog off of Craigslist. That’s how she got Tyger too, which I didn’t realize. She was complaining about poor Tyger when talking about getting a new dog. Ashley doesn’t seem like a dog person at all.kaedlie wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 5:18 pmI am trying to be optimistic, but given she likes to do things on the cheap I am going to go with backyard breeder because they are so desirable But it will get her instagram views and subscribers and that is so much more important than being an ethical puppy owner. Sucked it up and watched the video - she didn't even appear to do proper socialisation and introduction of the two (granted that could have been done off camera, but since she always has her camera out. . .). You never just bring another dog in to the house or even back yard for a first intro. Neutral place, let them sniff and meet each other, ensure they will get along and not see each other as a threat. Puppies are more work than children. It takes a good 2 - 3 years for training. She doesn't even have time to oversee Sav and her schooling because of her YouTube 'job', how is she going to properly train a puppy?Grinandbearit17 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 7:23 pmI feel ya! Not defending Ashley's choice at all but I got my cat from craigslist 10 years ago and he's still my best friend. I do understand that dogs are different though. I dont give two shits where someone gets their pet or what breed it is. What I care about is Ashley didnt do any research about this dog, she got it on a whim for views and likes. The poster above is right....she can forget about her all day shopping trips or leaving 3 times a day to eat out. As soon as that dog has an accident or chews up a precious rug or Ashley cant keep up with the slobber and dog hair....poor George will be gone. That's what I dont agree with. Some people are just not cut out for pets, especially high maintenance ones (which Tyger is not and that's why he has lasted so long). And I usually stand up for Chase but he was a real douche canoe in this video.

I agree with the posters above. She got this new dog because her life is so boring and she figures it will help her get more views and followers. But I don’t see it lasting long. He’s a bigger dog and she’s already freaking out about him getting water on the floor. I give it a few months tops, and she’ll probably say him and tiger didn’t get along, so she had to give him to a family member, friend, etc.

I’m sure there are good people on Craigslist looking for homes for their animals, but with puppies it really makes me side eye it with backyard breeders. I’m glad you found a great cat.KSGirl4Ever wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 10:12 pm Not defending Ashley's choice at all but I got my cat from craigslist 10 years ago and he's still my best friend. Especially these popular/expensive puppies. I'm totally fine if people want a certain breed so they go through a reputable breeder to get it, but don't just go on Craigslist looking for a $2000 dog, you're going to end up with a puppymill dog, backyard breeder, etc that ends up with health issues and probably isn't even purebred.Grinandbearit17 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 4:24 amI’m sure there are good people on Craigslist looking for homes for their animals, but with puppies it really makes me side eye it with backyard breeders. I'm curious to see how they handle this in the long run. Labradoodles need a lot more attention than a Yorkie. They chew, they are hyper, etc. Just because he's calm now doesn't mean he will stay calm. We got our boxer/shephard at about the same age as George and she was super calm when we first got her. Now? She's extremely playful, chews through EVERYTHING and needs a lot of attention.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part | Part 2
My mom has one that she got from a breeder three years ago as soon as he was old enough to leave his mom, he is the sweetest thing but if my mom doesn't put him in his kennel when she leaves, he will pee on any corner and chew up things and HE'S THREE YEARS OLD AND POTTY TRAINED. Ashley doesn't realize that even though he might be potty trained, he's going to mark his territory inside especially with another male dog in the house. She needs to get him fixed now because if she waits until he's 1 or older, the vet will tell you that once they are that age, they will still lift and mark. She can't handle one kid let alone two dogs and did anyone see how the house was actually looking in the video, things out of place, the playroom all out of wack and the stool she has in the front of her bed, the big ass stain on top???? I think this might have been the first time her home actually looked lived in. and BTW; George is a cutieChelleBelle wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 6:12 amEspecially these popular/expensive puppies.
