This kid has literally traveled to some of the most amazing places on Earth. He has been free to pursue hobbies and for a while has lived a comfortable life as far as privilege goes.

But he is the happiest he has ever been while on a routine and working hard.

I haven't watched it yet...but the words "self indulgent" jumped so far out to me I had to quote you to just point it out. Everything about her is "self indulgent." Still waiting for the "we don't want to spend what the builder said it would cost to make the home the architect drew up for us" vlog. It's coming. I bet good money on it.

One thing I know about kids is they don't typically like muted white/rainbow themed things. They tend to go for the loud glittery (ugly to meg) type things. $10 says no one plays with the bus and it goes on a shelf somewhere along with all the other pretty things her kids can look at but can't touch

Eve wants a barbie HOUSE. But it's too expensive, so she got her this crappy, used 1970's era Barbie rv?

They make the kids do a gift exchange and then she makes Ester pay for the gift that Eve doesn't even want!!?? and then surprise surprise, Megan makes it all about her and "renovates" the toy? She's totally lost it.

This video shows how a HAPPY, loving (large) family lives. They are structured, organized, well educated homeschoolers. They are all thriving and it shows by how much they all laugh, smile, sing (not like stupid Megan sings), are affectionate, and generally just awesome people (parents). Where Megan is all about herself and things, OTOM are about each other. The difference is striking. This video is so cute! Please watch if you have the chance. It will make you smile!

"How I spend my days lately". Oh, that grinds my gears. You only have 8 other children at home who would probably like some time and attention between your shopping, date nights, 2 hour walks, and 12 projects that are on the go. It isn't even about whether or not they can afford to give Eve one thing she wants for Christmas. It's about whether or not she WANTS to.

They drop thousands of dollars on every whim Megan has, and who KNOWS how much to take a trip to Iceland.

Megan controls what comes in and out of that house. Sure, the kids are free to pursue what they want in terms of hobbies, but I'd lay good odds that they are not shown options Megan and Mike don't approve of. If one of the kids showed an interest in something completely off the wall, Megan would lose her shit in a hot minute.

The kids read the books she brings home. They learn to play with the instruments she brings home. They get to play with the toys she finds at thrift stores. They get to do "home projects" that she approves of and wants done.
