I remember on the news a 2 year old was killed by the pet pit bull and the parents went on saying that he had always been so loving, gentle and protective. They were quite a nice, middle class family and were completely bewildered. He had not been trained to attack or raised roughly.....still didn't bring back their 2 year old daughter.

It's easy to defend them until something happens. That's fine, we can agree to disagree. You can continue to have your gentle, loving pit bulls and I'll continue to cross the street to avoid you.

Nothing I can say will change your mind, and vice versa. I just hope I never see you on the news wondering what the hell went wrong.
Was that part even necessary? :|
We have our own opinions on Pitt bulls and you have yours. Not all Pitt bulls are like that. Just saying.

And to be quite frank, why are you allowing your dogs to chase kids on bikes? Shouldn't they be restrained in a yard?

People are so stupid when it comes to animal breeds and their aggressiveness. Pitbulls aren't born with a gene and aren't any easier of a breed to become aggressive! Chihuahuas are a way more aggressive breed then pits and way more territorial but I bet not many people would jump taylers shit for wanting a chihuahua even though there would be an extreme possibility of that breed biting one of her children.
Our weiny dog is meaner to kids then our pitbulls. He chases kids down the ally on their bikes. Our pitbulls are so overprotective of kids, a friend put her baby in a bouncy chair and he started crying so she reached for the baby and our pit shoved his way between her and the chair because he thought she was making him cry

And this type of protectiveness is not healthy nor a good indicator of a dog that won't snap.
Pretty sure i know my dog a little bit more than your snobby ass.

The other term would be if you "bust someone's ass," such as beating them up.

Yes, it is necessary because it happens. Too often. And always it's the same story "He was such a gentle dog...."

So all Pitt bulls should be put in the same category right? :?
Anyways, agree to disagree. I'm not going to change your opinion and I don't plan to.

Anyways...

I feel like pitbulls are vicious dogs now, just because I was on a walk with my german shepherd and the pitbull attacked my dog and boyfriend :/ They both got bit but they are okay now. And my german shepherd was a little bigger than the pitbull too. I'm just scared of pitbulls now haha.
I'm glad your boyfriend and dog are okay by the way. :)

Snobby ass? You uneducated fool can't even come back with a legitimate rebuttal that you feel the need to call me a name, haha.

Aggression shown, whether it be food guarding or protective of a owner, is not healthy unless it is warranted and a threat is present.

Just saying, busting ass also means farting. "I'm going to bust ass!" means I'm gonna fart.

But anyway, on the fetal movement note. You can feel movement early. I felt Lilia kick at 14 weeks. Due to my severe distasis recti, I felt Ellora that early too (9 weeks). I felt her first real kick at 11 weeks. People told me I was crazy but at our 9 week ultrasound, I saw her moving on the screen. And felt it. The amniotic sac however was big. It measured 10 weeks 5 days, she measured 8 w 5 days. They said my size, my muscles, and the size of the sac was why I could feel it. I had a larger amniotic sac because I had ovulated twice (etc etc)

But it IS possible to feel movement early. I am 100% sure Tayler is just saying it for attention though.

Don't have to, but I know alot of women who have felt movement as early as 8-12 weeks. When you have diastasis recti, you can feel every organ as well. My midwife was able to feel every body part of Ellora when I was past 20 weeks as well. You could see the outline of Ellora in my tummy. I don't know why Tayler would think she's feeling movements this early though. She sure as heck doesn't have muscle separation.

Maybe she's feeling movement cause she's farther along than she says she is..

I know we are dropping this but I have to put my side in. I have known and trained with MANY pit bulls. They ARE the most misunderstood breed on the planet. That is a fact. Look it up if you don't believe me. A dogs behavior is based on many things. No dog is born bad. Just like no human is born bad. If any dog is raised, respected, loved, and trained properly they will be good dogs. The bite force of a german shepherd is WAY worse than a pit. Why do you think law enforcement uses them? As most older and powerful breeds, an owner must be educated on the behavior and breed before owning it. That is the reason Lindsay got rid of hers. No education, no proper training= unstable dog. All that being said, a chihuahua is just as capable of a pit bull of inflicting serious damage/injury to a person or other dogs. Pit bulls are a loving and intelligent breed. Also pretty lazy if I may add. Too bad the news, ignorant owners, and uneducated people have damaged their reputation/personality indefinitely. I will always fight for this breed. Along with any other dog being prosecuted under the unfairness of BSL or the press.
