The Doula most definitely kissed Lucy at least once. She looked so uncomfortable getting out of the tub. I would have been handing her towels, soap and shampoo ect.... Saying please shower and make yourself comfortable. Poor girl.

Is she really good friends with the doula maybe? I could kind of see you acting like that with a close best friend, if you didn't have tour other half there and needed someone for comfort and reassurance. She had Joel though. I would feel really uncomfortable acting like that with a woman I barely know. Maybe she just likes to be kind of Mothered by a woman when she is giving birth. Different folks different strokes I guess.

Okay so did anyone else notice that in the "Birth Story" video Lucy says @35:43 "So once we got out of the water I realized that I was hemorrhaging and we had to have the pitocin, cytotec... and all that great stuff!" but then in her birth video @6:17 the midwife has the assistant give her a shot of pitocin as a preventative thing. So now either that shot didn't work and she started to hemorrhage after she got out or she is again LYING!!!

Also definitely something weird going on between Lucy and the doula. @5:39 in the birth video the doula DEFINITELY kisses Lucy. I think she may have also kissed her @3:33 and @3:37 as well but I couldn't tell if it was a kiss noise or the sound of the shutter on the cameras. Either way. She definitely kissed her at least once. Weird. Lucy also told her "I love you". It was all very awkward and weird to watch.

Also in the gender reveal video, Lucy is going on and on about what took so long and why she didn't just post it on instagram blah blah blah, then Joel says "And we didn't want to" kind of in a f you tone. That right there is the TRUTH, not all that BS Lucy is spewing, they didn't want to so they didn't. For the views.

I thought it was cool that the doula got in the pool to help with Lucy's back labor but after awhile it got weird. The caressing, kissing (I swear it looks like the doula kissed Lucy's neck/back a few times after the birth) and watching the doula touch her own face/scratch her nose multiple times with her wet hand that was soaking in the afterbirth kind of grossed me out!

They looked like a beautiful lesbian couple

I know that before she went into labor Lucy and the midwife posted a picture of them out to dinner with 5-6 other women. I'm not sure who any of those other women were but I get the feeling that perhaps they were friends in real life. I think that it if they were friends then I understand doing what you have to do to get your friend/client the best birth experience and the birth that they want to have. We all know how much Lucy said she wanted a home water birth. I am not a doula nor do I want to be, but I would think that as a doula you are probably zoned in with the mother and into doing for her what she wants and what she needs during labor, so the getting in the water might have not been a thought out process. However, after the baby was born, I would think that I would get out just for health reasons. However, I do understand that according to what Lucy was saying it would have been impossible for her to sit since the water was so high and she was wanting to hold the baby lower because the cord was so short, etc etc. It all adds up, however, for the external viewer it does seem odd and really intimate for there to be a person not related to you cuddling you and spooning you after your new baby is born in all your pictures.

And she said on IG last night on one of her photos that they still haven't narrowed down a name from the 5 options. Props to Joel for standing his ground on this one!

That was exactly what I was thinking! My niece is actually my best friend and is like a sister to me, so if she asked me to jump in her birth pool I would. However, once baby was born I would not sit in her birth guts and kiss and stroke her. That is freaking weird to ME!

I love how she has time to post new giveaways and have a whole new heading/banner on her YouTube page but she can't name her poor child.
"Rainbow baby" is now 12 days old and SHE STILL DOESN'T HAVE A NAME? I know she's the forth kid, and deciding on a name can be tough but this is just pathetic. I feel like not giving a child a name of her own at this point makes the kid look a little... unwanted? Totally just my opinion.
Why does it always have to be this big show? Seriously? The whole big banner (I really don't know what to call it) that informs us that they are now a family of six. All the little pictures.... and I really love the rainbow and the clouds. Classic.

Her lesbian doula lover is now wanting to follow me. Kind of weird when my account is private, I have 50 followers (all people I know personally), I hardly hash-tag anything, I've never been to her page... even better yet... I didn't even know who she was until I went to her page. Weird.

A four and 5.5 year old siblings aren't even allowed to play normally without being micromanaged?! I got the impression from her vlogs that they play alone a lot, i've seen it enough time in vlogs to come to that conclusion. That's sad if she doesn't see the value in free play, play IS productive for young children. So Lucy is homeschooling because not only does she not want the kids playing with other kids, but because she has to control even siblings interacting with each other. Of course there are times you have to intervene with siblings but "super sweet" K and "super smart ahead of her age" J should surely be capable of playing together or alone sometimes.

Why were they so freaking against discussing names while she was pregnant? I dont care if you are not finding out the gender....you can still pick out a couple names for each gender that way it doesnt take you forever to pick one.

Her doula is unusally skinny too so I'd imagine it wasn't very comfortable having Lucy on top of her.
