Lucy Eades: Part 10

We're specifically told NOT to criticize and correct our kids spelling at speech therapy, we're supposed to model good clear speech for them and give them lots of time and full attention so that they slow down and gain confidence. I feel bad for her kids being picked at so much when she doesn't set a good example herself.

I haven't been watching Lucy long so I don't know how she was with her other children but I kind of get the feeling that she isn't as 'excited' about Emersyn? I understand that she didn't get to plan this conception like she would have wanted but she just doesn't seem like she is as fascinated with her as a new mother would be. I don't have children so I'm not sure how it differs from child to child but she hasn't really talked much about her without it quickly turning to be more about her / Joel is doing most of the VEDA days.

There's so much that she could talk about with this new baby and she's just not doing any of it. I know Joel's said a little about how the older children are with her but Lucy could do a separate video talking about how they prepared them / if there's any jealousy issues / how they're handling that.

I could be wrong but it just seems to me like she's more excited about breastfeeding the baby than actually having the baby.

Okay sorry for the rambling rant. It kind of goes all over the place but something about her.. I just can't 'dill' with it, 'y'all'.

I think the reason she doesn't seem as excited about Emersyn is because she wanted a boy. I could tell immediately that she was somehow disappointed in the birth etc. and it seemed like she was already planning baby #5 in her labor and delivery videos. She got her water birth, so I am not sure what there is to be disappointed about other than gender.

in the veda 16 video i laughed out loud when jacelyn said "did she already have that toy and sell it?" when joel told her she could not get the baby toy for her friend's birthday. it was so funny to me because jacelyn lives in a house where her mother resells every single thing she can and then buys more stuff or new stuff, i was so amused by it i guess because i don't know many people that do that and for such a young girl to think that's how things work means it must happen pretty often. mama is selling our toys again daddy!

i have two issues with the VEDA DAY 16 video . #1 she said she hadn't showered in two days . I don't know if she was just playing around but if she wasn't that's just gross . I feel like as a woman its pretty gross to go longer than a day without showering . stuff needs to be cleaned ! Lol #2 I get that they were just right outside in front but peyson shoulda had a top on . she was running around in her underwear . she may think her neighbors are good people but you never know it could be a pervert or something . that was not okay at all . if she was inside then fine but she was running around outside in just her underwear .

anyone else also notice , she doesn't do weekly updates with the baby like she did with peyson . I was looking back and I seen like peysons 2nd week of life and so on ( I forgot how long it went on for I think like 4 months ) . she hasn't really done any videos like that . probably because she is so overwhelmed with all 4 , that's why her vids are so short . I feel so bad for jace none of the other kids are really talked to the way she is , idk maybe because she is older but they seem really mean to her for her to just be 5 , she is still a kid . they pretty much let peyson do whatever she wants ..

1) The fact that Lucy hadn't showered in two days is just disgusting. Having four children is no excuse for poor hygiene. She could've easily taken a 5 minute shower. Gross.

2) I felt awful for Jacelyn when Lucy was calling her ungrateful. It's so obvious at this point that Jacelyn is the "least favourite" child and if Lucy continues to act the way she does towards her, Jacelyn will be riddled with complexes and will grow to resent Lucy.

3) I thought it was nice seeing Peyson on her own. She doesn't appear as "bad" or "mean" when she's by herself, she's the kind of child who would've been better as an only child.

the whole shower thing like who cares she stays at home all day long she doesnt need to shower every single day in my opinion. every other day is good plus she did just have a baby, i couldnt imagine taking care of 4 children she has her hands full prob only gets to shower at night when her man is there but i dont know maybe she was just joking like you said

If I'm just around the house I don't shower every day, its a huge waste of water and electricity to heat up the water, as well as bad for your skin, If you're lounging around the house whats the point?

At one stage I could only bathe twice a week it was just too expensive to heat up water everyday, I know that isn't the case for her but still. Maybe it's a US thing I know plenty of people here in the UK that don't shower everyday and they arent like gross people haha.

I mean of course if your out doing something everyday thats getting you all sweaty and dirty then yes shower everyday but if your in an air conditioned house all day just watching the kids and nursing, there really is no point to it. Yeah washing your every day is an awfull idea! Every other day is the way forward!

And does anyone find it weird that she continues to call the baby "Rainbow" and not her true name that she took a month to pick out? Has anyone had an actually "rainbow baby" and continue to call them rainbow? I find that so..weird

I think she keeps calling her rainbow because she had the name picked out after the first week... But had to keep calling her rainbow for the remaining 3+ weeks of videos to build the suspense. Now it's suck as her name.

^^^^^^ EXACTLY MY POINT ! after you have a baby you have bleeding and what not . but even if she didn't just have a baby I feel like women at least need to wash our private areas ! if she just stayed in the house all day okay not showering or washing your hair is alright ( for me two days is a lil gross ) but if she didn't at least wash herself off or something then that's pretty gross ..

hmmm a lot my mom friends don't get a shower everyday so what's wrong with that?

I said going one day is alright cause sometimes with kids you either don't get a shower at all or you have to wait till the go to bed . but if you go two days without showering or washing your womanly area that's pretty gross , no one wants to smell fish , especially if she is still pp bleeding . even if I don't go anywhere all day I at least wash up if I don't get to take an actual shower . that's what im saying .
