Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
I'm confused, I thought kacen AND peyson weaned off of breastmilk a while ago. Shes now on instagram commenting how she pumps for both of them still.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
She is seriously too much. They haven't had any milk to give them in so long and Peyson even weaned on her own she said. Now Kacen is drinking it again and so is Peyson..ladybug wrote:I'm confused, I thought kacen AND peyson weaned off of breastmilk a while ago. But she said that Peyson drinks it but doesn't ask for it...um...so she is just giving it to her even though she isn't asking for it?
I am pregnant and my kid is still nursing and if he is by the time the baby is here I will pump for him, plus so my husband can bond with baby as well.. But I am not going to just give it to him if he doesn't ask for it.
Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
I looked at her doulas Instagram and noticed that a while back she posted a few gay pride/equality pictures this does not make her gay/ lesbian, but it does make me think it could be a possibility. (And by could I mean maybe a super tiny chance, I am by no means trying to offend anyone!!!)

Agree, esp with the "I'm the rainbow sheep of the family" button.
I also found a picture of her wearing Peyson on her back. They must be close in some sort of way...

HAHAHA, this literally made me laugh so hard! Seriously. I bet she is delaying announcing it because she is probably fighting with Joel. She probably wants to name her rainbow and Joel doesn't.littlemiss wrote:When your baby's umbilical cord stump falls off before she has a name....

Their name choices are limited anyway, why is it so hard to pick? There are only so many names that rhyme with "acelyn" or "acen" and don't age well...

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Do you guys really think that they do not have a name for the new baby, or is she just trying to ride this all out for as long as possible??
This woman micro-manages every single last detail of her life, why not have a baby name by now? Baby is what, 2 weeks old?? I just find it so odd that after this long (pregnancy + all of this time after) that they do not have a name. As said above, it sounds so cold. Even during pregnancy, regardless of knowing the gender, you start to think of names & discuss them with your partner for when baby arrives. Something has has to come to mind by now!

I really believe they wanted a boy & had that name picked & ready, but since baby girl surprised them I think it took a bit to settle on one, but "yes" I agree they have a name most definitely.Cinnamon Stick wrote:Do you guys really think that they do not have a name for the new baby, or is she just trying to ride this all out for as long as possible??

I really think that Ms. Lucy wants to incorporate rainbow somehow and that Joel wants nothing of it. The baby is 2 weeks old tomorrow. Seriously.. that's 14 DAYS to pick a name. Or they have a name and Lucy just can't think of anyway to make a big huge announcement, because her gender reveal was lacking.SincerelyMe wrote:I really believe they wanted a boy & had that name picked & ready, but since baby girl surprised them I think it took a bit to settle on one, but "yes" I agree they have a name most definitely.Cinnamon Stick wrote:Do you guys really think that they do not have a name for the new baby, or is she just trying to ride this all out for as long as possible??

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
My parents had no idea what gender I was and they went through names when my Mum was 7 months along. They made a list on the fridge and they would cross out the ones they each didn't like and write the ones they did. Whatever was left was debated. If I was a boy, Dylan or Ryan were the top 2 to decide because my middle name would of been James. Rachael was their top girl name ( my middle name is Kate because my dad was dead set on it as a middle name) and when I was born, they said I looked like a Maddison, their second choice they heard on the movie Splash.Cinnamon Stick wrote:Do you guys really think that they do not have a name for the new baby, or is she just trying to ride this all out for as long as possible??

I mean I know names are hard to come up with when you have three already but you would think they would have decided a name unless they were dead set on a boy and a little dishearted they have a third girl.
In the name of the moon, I shall gossip about you.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Why would that make any difference? To be a good doula you have to form a good relationship with your client. Lucy has no problems with anything that went on. It's good they are comfortable with each other. Her sexuality should not even be an issue!mamaZ wrote:I looked at her doulas Instagram and noticed that a while back she posted a few gay pride/equality pictures this does not make her gay/ lesbian, but it does make me think it could be a possibility. Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Honestly I have witnessed some doulas doing some crazy things, this one didn't even phase me. It is not uncommon for them to take a physical supportive role, a lot of times they are all up in the bed with mom propped up between their legs or various other "support" positions. I am sure if the water bothered her that much she A) wouldn't have went in B) would have got out of the pool prior to baby being born. She knew what was going to happen and didn't seem bothered by it at all.
Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
I'm not taking any issue with her sexualty, wether she is lesbian or not does not affect her ability to work as a doula. I am however curious where the line of intimacy is drawn between client and caregiver. I have worked with and know quite a few doulas and midwives in the DFW area, who agree that some of her behavior seems to fall into an inappropriate gray area. Again i'm not taking issue with anyone's sexuality And I understand (probably more than most) how important it is to have a close and trusting relationship with your midwives and doulas.QueenBooBoo1216 wrote:Why would that make any difference? I think that she is just using this no name thing as another way to get attention. They are probably still fighting about it, I wouldn't doubt, but I think above all else it is getting her more attention by this baby not having a name.

The line is where Lucy wants it to be. I know and have worked with a few doulas and some families are more comfortable with a very close relationship. Given you pointed out she has some gay pride pictures it's an issue somehow.mamaZ wrote:I'm not taking any issue with her sexualty, wether she is lesbian or not does not affect her ability to work as a doula. Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Well, since you bring it up and it IS relevant to this thread, I'll add my 2 cents.
I am married so my sexuality is assumed by other people. I am straight, but it's not a prerequisite to marriage. Plenty of people have marriages of convenience...but I digress. I am happily married but I do not kiss and fondle my husband in public. Not that I'm uncomfortable about being affectionate, it's more out of consideration for others and being decent.
In no way did I take the little performance in the pool to be sexual in nature. I think that doula went way beyond the call of duty by jumping in that pool. I also think it was a little inappropriate. That should have been Joel in there with her. Its sick that he was more concerned with filming the birth rather than experiencing it himself. And the kisses and stroking just make me think that even more strongly.
I have nothing against what anyone wants to do in the privacy of their own lives, but that doula was a hired employee. Kissing, stroking....gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual....whatever... it was inappropriate when she was being paid to do a job. And it should have been her husband doing that, not the doula.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
It was not my intention to start a debate on anyone sexual nature or preference. Unfortunately I have never been very good at getting my points across. Truthfully I hate debates haha! My husband does not like to get in the pool with me, to be honest he thinks its nasty, poor guy can be a bit squeamish but he does love me and our family.
So when time comes I have needed a little help from my doula to get into position for me to make progress with pushing. She stands in the water and holds my leg/shoulders. (so no I don't sit on her )
I think that Thegooseiscooked said it much better here
